NiGHTS into Dreams .Com

The NiGHTS into Dreams event in Sonic Runners has now begun, allowing you to unlock Buddies of NiGHTS, Reala and a Nightopian! The event lasts until the 13th of August, so get collecting those Red Rings for the Premium Roulette! I'll be collecting images of the event for you to view here if you cant/don't want to download Sonic Runners.

There are a few changes to the BGM during this event. The premium Roulette wheel now has "DREAMS DREAMS (In Silent Memory)" playing. If you have all 10 special eggs however, it changes to "Growing Wings." Using NIGHTS as Buddy 1 changes the BGM to "Message from Nightopia", while Reala gets "NiGHTS and Reala" fittingly. While the Nightopian doesn't get a song, it sings the first 6 notes of the chorus of "DREAMS DREAMS" when its ability is activated.

I love how Sonic Team even kept them to scale with the Sonic characters, I think there was a lot of love going on when making this event

Well this was unexpected (it was completely expected!) NIGHTS is set to appear in the Mobile game Sonic Runners as announced on their twitter here. I'm going to assume he'll be a flying type, I dunno, just a theory ;P I'll update the post once he is present in the game. Thanks to DiGi Valentine for sharing this on social media!

It's July 5th today, making it 19 years since NiGHTS into Dreams…was released! The Big 2-0 is next year aswell, poor NiGHTS is getting old, is that a wrinkle!?

I'd also like to announce just now that resident LPer MidniteAndBeyond will be providing us with an "official" walkthrough of the first game to be accessible from the site The pressure's on to get all A rankings Midnite ;D Please support our community members videos!

Remember WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in May when I posted about Game Symphony Japan and it featuring NiGHTS music like how the title says? Well the set list got revealed and, well, let's just say NiGHTS gets more representation than I had assumed In fact the entire third act is centred on NiGHTS, with the following tracks:

Nintendo opened the above website for people to vote for who they want as DLC in the new Super Smash Bros games for the Wii U and 3DS. I know we're a small fanbase here so the chances are slim of us getting NiGHTS in to Smash Bros, but it'd be cool for us all to pull together and at least get NiGHTS' name out there as a possibility

Hi there NiGHTS fans! Game Symphony Japan are to perform their 14th concert this year using music from SEGA games, and guess which franchise will be getting a song played! The concert will take place on the 10th October 2015, hopefully there will be a place online for us to catch this. It'll be a wee delight to hear NiGHTS music being performed live with an orchestra! Well look who we have here! Who's that glorious beast up near the top of the page?

Yep! not only are we getting NiGHTS in the Worlds Unite Crossover comics but Reala is also included! Two maren for the price of one, how can we help but be appreciative of the continued inclusion the NiGHTS series is getting again in these kinds of events. So the NiGHTS statue from First4Figures went up for pre-orders today and it is GLORIOUS! Click here for the regular edition (at $209.99) and click here for the Exclusive edition (at $234.99). The chest jewel is to be recoloured before production, so don't worry about the incorrect colour This is definitely going to have a lot of us breaking the bank! I in particular will be getting myself an Exclusive, and then one of each to give away on here to a lucky pair! That won't be for some time though! If you only get the statue for one reason, let it be THIS!

NiGHTS' MAGNIFICENT BEHIND!

Well someone's been listening to my bedside prayers, because the fantastic First4Figures are making a NiGHTS statue! Announced today on their Facebook page (here) with a teaser image of the back of NiGHTS' head, this is one we NiGHTS fans are going to have to save up for! pre-orders go live on the 24th of March, which at the time of posting is next Tuesday. I personally have their Modern Sonic and Ryo Hazuki statues and can vouch for the quality of these products, it's time to get excited!

I've only been an admin here a short while and in my time we've seen NiGHTS in SEHA Girl anime cameos, comic books and now merchandise! it's a good time to be a NiGHTS fan indeed
