Wow, those are absolutely stunning! The Helen one is just gorgeous with how you changed the colours, and I really like the L'amour one as well. Really fantastic stuff!

Clawz... his design isn't that great and it took me THREE tries to beat him, at which point I had one second left... Yeah, he annoys meeee ¬_¬

I adore his theme though. (Purgatory, you've put the surfer idea in my head now! XD)

Puffy! She had such a great level, design, music and way to fight her. Really meant you had to be good at the GAME not just the boss IMO. =D I love Gulpo too though. And Jackle. I hate Clawz's battle (When I eventually beat him I had ONE second left...) Shame I feel so bad about doing different bosses on different levels =p

I hope you can do lots of differnt detail if you do Soft Museum. I think that is by far the hardest to do. Splash Garden might work though. You need to practice with makeing waves though. There are some good brush techniques out there and its pretty fun. (Two big paintings I had to do invovled lots of water.... O.O

Also, you should probably put your pictures up here. There are some that probably haven't seen your lovely Oekaki board dreamscapes. Same goes for you Prince. (HOwever you may need to put links for some of yours Prince because you havea lot of them. lol )

Haha fair enough! =D I'll post them in a new art topic though I think since i need to make one and I need something to put in them. XD

I'd love to do Museum, hard yes but still. I might do it near the start, with Claris standing near NiGHTS or something. Hmm, but I've always wanted to try painting water. Plus, there's no big blocks of colour in those 2, so I can save on paint! -cheap- Also, Silvia Callisto, that's a really nice sketch! So curvy. XD

As I said on the oekaki it's so prettyyyy *_* It looks just like Mystic Forest. It's all lovely and it's got the light shining through and ee! XD i could never do Mystic Forest, too much actual effort/skill involved! D=

I want to do a handpainted scape on some small canvases I have at some point, but I'll need more paint I think, first. I just have those really liiiittle bottles. XD

You call that skill?! I see so many errors in this picture that is drives me nuts. I had to stop after almost 5 hours though because I couldn't stand to look at it any long. lol I probably only think this way because it is my own picture though.

I would love to see your paintings as well. They are great for dreamscapes. (Hard...but great. I stink at painting. ) Paint is expensive though. Take your time.

Trust me, I always feel the same way =p Nothing's perfect and the fact that you've stared at it for 5 hours in a row means you'll have seen EVERYTHING XD It's lovely. Paint is expensive (Though, if I used all the shades of green and stuff mixed together I might have enough...) I can't decide which one to do though, other than NOT Twin Seeds cause I don't have much black and you have to use black a lot so ;_; Maybe museum?

Helen, then Elliot, then Will, then Claris- not that I dislike her, but she's just bottom of the list. Although I still dislike Will's costume I suppose not everyone can be a snazzy dresser and his story sounds kinda cool =D

I think if the game is sideways on rails (likely) then it'll be a Secret Rings style thing. No idea how you'd go up down- twisting it as well? Unless you're behind NiGHTS, then maybe it'd be a little different. And obviously movements for the tricks. As for traditional, nunchuck for movement, those 2 buttons on it and the A button for tricks etc. 1 and 2 and the d-pad for tricks on wiimote control maybe?

Well, first off, this is me speaking as someone who does love the game.

I know for a fact that a lot of people at my school are aware of the game. I don't know, but I rarely see video game adverts full stop myself so while I agree it was under-advertised, I don't think it's the only thing. I actually think the cover might put some people off- it's a pretty cover, sure, but the colours and slightly plasticy feel... it makes me think of a young kids' game, and I think if people aren't aware of what the game is it's going to put them off. But, on the other hand, Woolworths only just took the game off the shelf here, it's still in Blockbusters really prominantly; and these are small versions of the shops, so games cycle through really fast. (They don't have any returned/second hand copies either, which I'm trying to work out if it's good or bad because it cost me more XD;;; ) There are a few factors, I suppose...

I don't think people were expecting the game to sell as well as a big-name game anyway, or at least I wasn't... I've always thought it'd be a game that made them a profit, not like Sonic where it's purpose is to get into the charts and such. NiGHTS shouldn't be compared to Mario or Sonic- it's just not a big thing outside the gamers commuity, and not really even within it. So long as Sega make some money, I'll count it as a success myself.

Ahahaha, and I...never beat Wizeman once... *brick'd from hardcore gamers* I always run out of time before even looking at the guy. Fail.

If by that you mean you ran out of time on Twin Seeds then you are NOT alone, it took me a bazillion tries to finish and I had about ten seconds left the first time. Though it's insanely easy to get an A thankfully. XD Wizeman himself is also a bit difficult to figure out, though not the hardest boss in the game... which really he should be =\

Not got straight A scores yet, but I got to and finished Twin Seeds with both characters so I think that counts. I'm quite near straight A scores now actually, though it's probably not helped that I usually make myself use the original boss for that level... XD -hates clawz and gillwing sometimes...-

Though, my Saturn wasn't up at Christmas so no luck on the All-the-cards bit on Christmas NiGHTS ¬_¬

It doesn't realy matter to me, but probably in the day- at night I'm kinda tired. But it wouldn't feel any different, for me- I mean, I won't really be thinking about how it's late at night in the game, especially since it's "daytime" in the levels. So it wouldn't really help me immerse myself, since it won't be on my mind and most of it will take part in the day in a manner of speaking- just day for nightopia instead.

On the other hand, I might just never stop playing, so in that case- day AND night! XD

Me, I'd like a really weird, screwed up set of offices. I dunno WHY I just would. Or maybe a really really big weird bedroom. Or a normal house that's messed up cause of the dream you're in (maybe with a kid in bed dreaming about a bedroom with a kid in bed who's dreaming about a kid in bed... etc! XD). People always think of dreams as being big and such (presumably because of the idea that they're whole worlds and so when you dream you come up with the whole world so everything has to be big) and so as having large landscapes and buildings, but that's a shame I think cause smaller spaces could make great 'scapes as well. Maybe if you looked out the window you'd just see white or something cause you hadn't dreamed anything up! Or it could change every time you looked/went round the mare?

Oh, and Zero-Shift, I love your idea of a casino reef! Combining themes is a great idea =D

The course you just described seems far more at home in Nightmare than Nightopia.

I like AYRiES' idea of making a smaller sort of world, but the idea behind NiGHTS is pretty much the exact opposite of claustrophobia. So how about a compromise: an insect level.

Try to imagine NiGHTS winding his way through a maze of ant tunnels. Or flying with bees through a series of honeycombs. Using spiderwebs as springboards. There's a lot of possibilities there.

Ah, but I meant more along the lines of that because they have to be free flying and big, only things that are already big are used as themes. They could be really big and even more surreal because of it maybe.

I adore the insect theme, especially the bee one. Neon coloured bees especially =D

Meh, I wouldn't mind the kids having voices when they're awake... but in the dreams and such? A lot of people dream and say they talked without actually thinking they'd 'heard' it or moved their mouth, or they'd talked in gibberish but still understood it since it was all in their mind and the brain had decided what it meant since it came up with the dream anyway. Soooo I think it'd be really cool if they kept the nonsense language and no speech and such while they're dreaming...

Plus the whole universal thing. I mean everyone dreams, don't they?

The gibberish voices *are* cool though, but if they give NiGHTS a really male or really female voice I may have to scream... though maybe it could change based on who merged with him/her? Reala will probably be more masculine... He's supposed to be opposite NiGHTS, so maybe the idea is he has an easier-to-define-gender as opposed to androgynous. I want him to hiss a lot though. XD

Fem/Androg. Simply cause I don't think they have actual physical bodies (they live in dreams), and since it was created by Wizeman... Well, would Wizeman go to all the trouble of deciding what, er, parts, to give NiGHTS when there was no need? XD And even if NiGHTS was actually dreamed up by Claris/Elliot or something, then... well, when you dream of things that aren't human, you don't generally dream about the gender, since it isn't human. Meh. That's just my view =) I tend to refer to NiGHTS as a he though.

I discovered the playlist option on Last.fm and have as such been deciding what I'm buying next month. Mostly Paramore, Panic! at the Disco, Vanessa Carlton, 3 Doors Down and Self Against the City. Other than that, a lot of Pink and Rogue Traders, cause I heard that clip on Doctor WHo and ended up buying the entire album...
