i'd like to see her fly in a castle. I can already imagine him gliding through royal courts, chandeliers, and around ivy-laden towers

*for fun, post a picture of a location that you'd want to see NiGHTS fly in
Thats a cool idea NOTiC. How about high in the air with turbulence and thunderstorms and the occasional Boeing I-50 megaplane?
Sorry Huruyami! XD; It's a song about a pilot flying through a storm. Kinda artsy-new-age-ish, but still cool!
I thought of another setting, even though it's similar to Mystic Forest - a tropical rainforest! Rivers and canopies and lush, green, oversized plants.. even some that could eat you if you're not careful! D:
That'd be kind of boring, actually. The whole point of deserts is that there's nothing to 'em. Just sand as far as the eye can see.Maybe some kind of a desert level.. Hmmm....
"Fly me to the moonpretty cool, zero
i like the sky/space themed idea mentioned before, but I'd like to see NiGHTS getting entwined with the clouds a little bit closer to earth. but every object could have the space/sparkley/sky theme, like moons, crescents, stars, comets, all them goodies
As if the costume redesign we're getting didn't raise enough outrage. You know, I would love a new puzzle level, like Soft Museum. :| Eh, whatever.
You know, when you guys mentioned outerspace, I had mental pictures of NiGHTS in a NASA suit... :|
I don't know. I enjoyed both Sandopolis and Oil Ocean in the Sonic games, so I would think they could do something with it that would fix the boring sand, sand everywhere. They're creative enough to have floating windmills and upside down mountains in their levels. That'd be kind of boring, actually. The whole point of deserts is that there's nothing to 'em. Surely Stick Canyon would be considered your typical desert level, with a bit of a NiGHTS twist ?
The course you just described seems far more at home in Nightmare than Nightopia. How about a bizarre void-type level, a level that's somewhat disjointed and contains little pieces of different other dreamscapes floating around. If anyone here has ever played the original Soul Blade game, then it'd be a little bit like the 'Chaos' arena where you'd fight the final battle with Inferno.
The background would mainly be a dark, near-starless sky with swirling grey-purple clouds. You'd fly along in what seemed to be like a complete void for a while, but then suddenly a piece of yellow and orange cloth would fly out at you and you'd have to duck to avoid it. After that, pieces of buildings and various objects would begin flying at you and you'd have to keep avoiding them, until you suddenly notice that you can see isolated trees that grow in floating clumps of dirt, and formless shapes of water containing small tropical fish. There'd be loads of stuff like this, until you finally reach the 'Nightmare' of the level which would contain the final boss (maybe Selph?).
Now if only they'd listen. Hmmm....it always seems like gamers have better ideas than developers
...Oi, brick me now, that's the sugar talking.
...That tooAs well as your inner Tron fan.
Interesting idea, but I think the medieval castle would complement the dragon persona just as well. How about an asian themed level to go with the dragon mask for NiGHTS?

I like AYRiES' idea of making a smaller sort of world, but the idea behind NiGHTS is pretty much the exact opposite of claustrophobia. So how about a compromise: an insect level.
Try to imagine NiGHTS winding his way through a maze of ant tunnels. Or flying with bees through a series of honeycombs. Using spiderwebs as springboards. There's a lot of possibilities there.
Depends on the type of dragon... Maybe an asian themed castle?Interesting idea, but I think the medieval castle would complement the dragon persona just as well.
