Myyyy favourite boss has to be... PUFFY! Just so fun to throw her about. The fight with Reala is epic, my least favourite boss is Gulpo.

I've always thought as Gillwing as a dragon, a big chinned one hehe.

I didn't care much for Gulpo until I drew him.. and after that I've begun to really like him.

Apart from that.. Reala... Jackle... Clawz is really cool, and Puffy got her thing... I can't really choose. I guess I like them all just as much! XD

I've always been rather partial to Clawz and Jackle. They both have cool designs, as well as fun stages to fight them in. And creepy grins. I likes the creepy grins, yes I do.

Gulpo as a boss is my least fave. I suck terribly at judging things like that in 3D. *laughs*
Though just to annoy me it seems, he happens to have my favorite boss music... XD

Sounds like you love the music more than the maren. lol
To me, the music reflects the maren. So, what you say does have a large significant meaning.

Don't know if this would count as a Maren per say, but I've always been a fan of Wizeman. Something about him was just too awesome to explain. Not to mention he had six hands. He's a winner in my book.

Second would be Reala. And a third would be Clawz

I'm sorry, I like Jackle a lot. From what I've seen of the guy, he's got a few screws loose in the head, and thanks to TRiPPY's interpretations of him, I see him as a tarot-card using Nightmaren that will occassionally show the future to dreamers. If only in really really minor ways like...the final level of another video game or something. (Me and my dreams...look at my dream journal to see what I mean.) And Jackle's music was a song that I just fell in love with - I loved it.

NiGHTS and Jackle are tied for my favorite. Reala comes as a close second.

Oh my favorite is Jackle. Which is REALLY strange because he's sort of the most clown like (other than Reala) out of the group...and I really dislike clowns. MAybe because of his lack of make up I like him. Hum. Whatever. Next would be Claws, becaue it's a cat! Kitties are so cute! even when They're hudge and have extreally sharp teeth. hehe. I think my least favorite is Puffy, just because I found her hard to beat

Puffy! She had such a great level, design, music and way to fight her. Really meant you had to be good at the GAME not just the boss IMO. =D I love Gulpo too though. And Jackle. I hate Clawz's battle (When I eventually beat him I had ONE second left...) Shame I feel so bad about doing different bosses on different levels =p

Jackle wins my vote no contest. Something about the fact that he lives in a twisted playroom is just totally creepy and badass. And his psycholaugh owns my soul. <3

Ironically though, he's by far the hardest boss for me to beat. :/

Of course I love NiGHTS, everyone does! But I'd have to say... if I have to pick another one.. Jackle. He's quite an interesting being, to say the least. Very cool design and his domain was also awesome. And if you write fanfiction or do fanart, there's SO much you can do with him to give him a lively character.

so, since we are leaving NiGHTS aside, lets see....

in terms of style, nothing can beat Reala. the whole fight and the music is just inspiring!
but in terms of fun, i'd have to choose Puffy, the whole fight is just too much fun
i really like Gillwing too because the fight has this really epic feeling to it! Gillwing is just so huge and NiGHTS is still able to tackle him head on, i think its an amazing battle.

so i'd probably choose Reala anyway!

Fav boss is.....erm. Probably Puffy, because she's easy to beat quickly lol. Although sometimes I mess up really bad. Overall I think Jackle's my fav boss. He has the best music and is just cool. I always used to think he was the hardest, I think he still is to me but that's what makes him fun.

I like Reala because he has the whole Evil-Side thing going on. In design he's very similar to NiGHTS but considerably more twisted. He supports the notion that they are perhaps equals, but the fact that he's so much larger denotes that he is perhaps moreso. And you just can't argue with a checkerboard dreamscape with a bigass throne in the center.

2nd Favorite is Gillwing.

Puffy. I love the design of her level! Playing it just makes me want to explore it as Claris or Elliot.

Ehe. Thats cuz I've never actually played NiGHTS, only one level on a rom and the downloaded soundtrack. So yeah..I only really know the music XD

I say puffy. Also the little swirly spike that comes out if you beat her before 90 appears on the timer is perplexing. the music is fun also.

The only thing we can make out is "NiGHTS", because that's probably the only thing in there that has a set word assigned to it. The rest is in a language SEGA played with; it's not English. Admittedly, it does follow that sound pattern, but people also associate sounds with words they know. So for all we know, it could be "Ze riz na, NiGHTS" or something.

But... I have to admit, I really am quite fond of Clawz. Maybe it's the fact that he uses explosives? xD But... I think my order of favourites goes Clawz, Puffy/Jackle/Reala/Wizeman (they're all tied XD), GillWing, Gulpo. Music-wise... they all tie. XD

I'd have to say that Wizeman, Jackle and Clawz all tie for first, and Reala & Gillwing pull a close second.
However I can't stand to fight Puffy, becasue I tend to over-spin her and then she flattens NiGHTS into the ceiling when she bounces back up. That particular battle annoys me...but Wizzy, Jackle, and Clawz tie for first because they all royally kick arse, without even trying.

I love Puffy. Her? stage is very simple yet very surreal with the long winding corridor and giant mirrors. It was my first NiD boss so that's probably why its my fave.

Once I actually was able to play the game, my favorite Nightmaren bosses were Jackle and Reala. I mean c'mon they're cool and they both gave me the hardest time the few minutes I had of playing the game (especially Jackle). The one boss that I hated beyond all reason would have to be Puffy for no reason besides the fact that she refused to behave and go where I threw her. Then she always somehow kept landing on NiGHTS' head, making me angrily toss her again, only for her to bounce right back on NiGHTS' head.
