*whimpers for it*

#43330 The Great Music Debate

Posted by Ronnie on 08 March 2008 - 11:38 AM in [ARCHiVED] JOD Discussion

I didn't even know it was Will who was yelling it! I thought it was just the intro to the song as it starts to play. (sounds Spanish to me)

#36866 The GC controls

Posted by Ronnie on 21 January 2008 - 03:50 PM in [ARCHiVED] JOD Discussion

I agree with TRiP! I use the GC controller for comfort but when I want to do a perfect paraloop or ascend/descen towards rings I find it difficult since i'm constricted to 8 directions. I miss my Saturn pad :_( I need freedom while I fly and I to find my thumb hurting and sliding off to the right from to much pressure its also kinda awkward changing masks.

#50045 Stupidest reason for a nightover

Posted by Ronnie on 06 May 2008 - 03:00 PM in NiGHTS chit-chat

Wizeman has nothing to do with it.

You can't dream forever and anything in the real world can wake you up, taking up time in the dream world could be the same as real time, taking your time on a mission could mean your coming closer to your alarm waking you up or getting overly frustrated in a dream can cause you to wake up (just like the initial shock of a nightmare)

If the children are struggling to comprehend there dreams they could suffer from anxiety which can lead to stimulation in the brain which can result in.... waking up.

#44504 Stuck on the 2nd boss!

Posted by Ronnie on 22 March 2008 - 02:02 PM in [ARCHiVED] JOD Discussion

I never had a problem with Bomamba, her attacks are easily predictable and you just got to get used to how the cats roll around, if you find the cats roll to far towards you then just dash away to the opposite side and try again.

now the Chameleon...thats a WTF boss!

Ya know... with the original edit; Realas thumb infront of his face... looks like a pointy nose >.<

Gotta admit though, Reala looks like he's going to the opera with that gold mask on his face.

#34351 Shoutout Messages

Posted by Ronnie on 05 January 2008 - 11:21 PM in [ARCHiVED] Misc

Can I send my Q&A letter here? I want TRiP and DiGi to give their personal opinion on my predicement.

*ehem*

Dear TRiPPY and DiGi Valentine,

I am currently living in a rented student house with four other students (1 girl, 3 guys). I used to have my Wii hooked up in the living room so we could all play it together but one of the housemates and a rowdy friend of his seem to be taking my generosity of sharing the console to the extreme. They play Wii sports constantly (well I say Wii sports, I mean Wii Golf for 4 hours straight per day) When I go to lessons, when I come back from lessons and whilst I sleep. They play it till the batteries go dead in the remotes and pester me to buy more batteries but I told them no. Well more fool me when I purchased Mario Galaxy and purchased more batteries for myself to play, but old habits die-hard and the two goons were back at it playing 9 holes of golf and laughing like donkeys. I've asked them to cut down on the gaming time but my request has fallen on death ears.
So i've had no choice but to box up my Wii and put it back in my room. I have told them I took it back home but its still with me under the bed and I've realised with JoD just a few weeks away how will I be able to play it without my Wii being hogged by golf nuts? I just want to play my platformers in piece have the Wii used more moderately and at suitable hours when i'm trying to sleep.

I fear if I hook up my Wii once more and still ley down the rules they will simply be broken as I have asked time and time again.

Am I being spiteful and selfish for taking away a toy that could be played and enjoyed by all?
Is this the medicine I have to swallow for having a Wii?
Or do I secretly play JoD when no ones around and quickly hide my Wii before greedy eye's can pry on it?

Thank you for reading.

Sincerely a desperate NiGHTS fan,

Roland.

#36192 Sega Superstar Tennis Trailer

Posted by Ronnie on 18 January 2008 - 08:42 PM in [ARCHiVED] Events, campaigns and news

Well if this game is as good as Virtua Tennis and adds some fun stuff like Mario Tennis did, then I'm sure we've got a winner on our hands.

#50355 Sega Splash! Golf

Posted by Ronnie on 09 May 2008 - 02:31 PM in NiGHTS chit-chat

So this is SEGA's new "thing" huh? Slapping it's logo over sports titles and trying to make it look fresh with J-pop idol songs, new generation kids that you can dress up (because it's not just your little sister who likes to play with dolls) and shove a few mascots in there that quite frankly arn't needed or were never asked for.

Put it on to a PC where boring golf games go to die and you can watch it sit on the store shelf and collect dust only to be sold off as one of those "3 for £10" discount game bundles.

Way to go SEGA.... way to go....

#29688 SEGA in MY house?

LMAO!

SEGA are coming to your house?

Quick ley the micro machines at the bottom of the stairs and and put the paint cans on top of the doors!!

Oh my god! We left TRiPPY home alone... and she's only 25!

#28117 Reala's new design?

Posted by Ronnie on 30 November 2007 - 10:15 PM in Poll Area

People are just afraid of change.

I like him, he has become more defined and and more of an indepth character rather than a copy of NiGHTS with a different pattern/colour scheme.

The one thing I would take away is his silly mask, he doesn't need it.

Apart from that tiny little thing he's perfect just like the Reala we all know and love ^^

#28097 Project 'OUT THERE' Attention plz.

Posted by Ronnie on 30 November 2007 - 08:08 PM in [ARCHiVED] Events, campaigns and news

Don't forget folks we have the internet aswell.

Its easy to make Flash banners using Dreamweaver, Maybe we can ask some other sites to put up some free advertising for the game (NiGHTS/game related of course)

Don't forget your Myspace and Facebook pages they can be spruced up with NiGHTS and even having simple avatars and banners in for your user profile helps gets the NiGHTS face out there.

I'm sure there will be plenty of advertising during its release but a little push won't hurt.

Of course the best time to promote will be during Febuarey.

Its best to know who are key demographic is and to hit the areas they will advertising most.

I wish we had some life-sized cardboard cut outs of NiGHTS and ask local Game stores to put them up for display, that would rock!

Pians breed as fast as they die, which seems to be 1 minute.

Posted by Ronnie on 21 March 2008 - 01:43 AM in Cosplay Zone

As awesome as that sonic costume is....I sure woudn't want to spend half a day inside it.

Trippy I havta ask, does your costume hurt? there seems to be so many areas that look like they "restrict" certain areas, you know... being able to breath and such.

#44495 Our fun day at SEGA in London!

But if Wizeman strips theres.... nothing....

>You push up on the analogue, NiGHTS jerks and then glitches
>Complete the game to unlock.... sound test

#34202 NOT Selling the Beta

Posted by Ronnie on 05 January 2008 - 02:23 AM in NiGHTS chit-chat

I just donated $10.

Whether or not you decide to sell it is whats best for your financial situation.

Its great that we got to know some stuff from the beggining of NiD development but it came at a very steep price.

Thank you very much.

#34203 Not actually eaten by a snowman

Posted by Ronnie on 05 January 2008 - 02:27 AM in [ARCHiVED] Events, campaigns and news

I've been trying to avoid the forums aswell as not to ruin to much of the game for myself.

Sadly though I did read the JOD topic over at the GHZ forums and they are literally saying the game is "lame" I hate mixed reviews :S
