Ok, so we are all greatly familiar with the AWESOME theme of Bellbridge 2 (Cruising Together) where Will daringly saves Helen and screams.... ALOVA? Yeah, me and my friend were arguing today over what the heck he says (if it is a word). I use the song as my ringtone on my cell and i swear its along the lines of Alova (Uh-Low-Vah). Not sure if this is the garbled line of JoD (as Reala learned to speak in this game, which is sexy) and ha sno meaning or if it does have one. Give yur opinion.

Next part...

In continuation with ALOVA, my friend (who only became interested in NiGHTS in January when i convinced her to buy it) says that in "Message to Nightopia" and "Bellbridge 1" the vocals in the background are saying that. I don't believe they are. I believe it is just "Oh, Oh, Oh OH" or something like that. I think it is just a vocalized version of the theme with no lyrics. She fought and yelled to the bitter end that they were singing w/e will sings. I say its the power of suggestion and shes letting herself hear it.

So yeah, share your views!

I also am wondering what the vocal line in that version of "Dreams Dreams" is supposed to be.. yet another in a line of unintelligible lines the NiGHTS games have given us..

Also, in case you weren't aware, Bellbridge's theme is a remix of "Growing Wings", the song of Twin Seeds in NiD :(

When I first heard it, I thought that he said 'Aptiva' -- even though it sounds more like 'Arima'. :(

Now I can't tell if it's a sound effect or part of the music -- but a random part of me thinks that he was saying 'don't give up', run together.

One way or another, it's a great song. :D

Really? I thought it was "Message from Nightopia" i haven't played the original soundtrack in like, months. Sadly im a JoD fanboy, *raises shield* i prefer JoD over NiD so i haven't bothered with the original soundtrack in a while *shot dead on spot*.

Also, before this gets lost in topic (as its the heated part of my friend and I's arugument) Do the background singers in Bellbridge 1 or "Growing Wings" (as ive been corrected) sing this garbled line?

As it is currently Winter it means hibernating in house rather than going out a lot.

I should also mention that growing up playing on SEGa systems it is now my favorite game company in the whole world. The games developed by it always inspire me a lot and remind me of all those games many years ago such as Nights that I have many fond memories of.

I also am really creative and tend to do all kinds of art such as drawings, painting and such. However, lately I have focused more on my computing course so have not done much. :)
Well for me it sounds like he is saying "Helen!" since he is going to save her and all. :(

I didn't even know it was Will who was yelling it! I thought it was just the intro to the song as it starts to play. (sounds Spanish to me)

Are we sure it's Will yelling? The voice doesn't sound like him. Like Ronnie I just assumed it was the intro for the song.

As for what is said, Ica's boyfriend is convinced it's "Aruba!" XD

I agree with Josse (or...well, my boyfriend). What else can Will yell at such a festive moment but "ARUBA~!" And then there was a carneval, with balloons and everything.

In all seriousness, I think we got the new "There is no NiGHTS" on our hands. It's clear enough to sound like a word, but just garbled enough so you can't really agree on what word. : /

Well the word is on the Japanese soundtrack song so I don't think it is Will saying it.
But as to what the word is... I would think aptiva but it doesn't fully sound like it.

I'm pretty sure that garbled line is in "Growing Wings", Moonlighttrill. At least, *I* hear it, I dunno about everyone else!

I think we do have another "There is no NiGHTS" on our hands! What does it say? What does it want? Is it the answer to life, the universe, and everything? Or is it just a kick-butt saying that, when shouted in victory, feels absolutely AWESOME? We may never know!

(I had to laugh @ "A ROBOOOOOOOOT" and "Aruba"... nice! XD)

EDIT: Forgot to say, in another thread I thought it might be "Al-Di-La", which turns out to be the music for My Dream. :blink:;

This is just like the "what the hell are those Yoshis saying?!" from the Yoshi's Story ending, except the Yoshis don't fly over Bellbridge. Yoshis fail were Nights succeeds. =C

I honestly thought they were saying "AROVA". And I also heard this on "Growing Wings" from NiD. I think I know the meaning... = Ignore the flaws!!

...This thread is going to be so much fun. XD
