Helmet? I noticed some wearing hats with earflaps, like for cold weather.. because it's winter out there.. The sleeping section ensures that any pian you put there will never keel over or need feeding for as long as its there. I figure pians will live for as long as you keep them alive; i.e. don't leave My Dream when they're still knocked out. Which sometimes can't be helped, if you run out of chips..

As soon as I notice I'm out of chips I run off and get some before any more of my precious Pians die.I've got about 80 now.

As far as I can tell, a Nightopian, Nightmaren, or Mepian (is this the full word or is it short for something?) will live forever, unless you leave My Dream when its' knocked out.
The green circle near the Doors is to save up to 5 Nightopians or Mepians that you want to keep, in case you run out of Blue Chips and there are still some with red halos. I have my only Mepian there, who has a Murtle's head.

I seem to notice that everyone has a problem when they get to 80. They started dying quicker, no matter how many blue chips you have on you and give them. I also noticed I had nearly 80 and made some mepians in the game and paralooped them. When I got to my My Dream, no nightopians or mepians that I looped came into my garden. Maybe there's a limit?

supposedly you can cheat the system by putting pians in the grass ring.

However, you can only fit 5 in there. My favourite Mepians all snooze in that little spot there. If you try to put one down in there when its full, the seem to morph off the grass and they fly back into the garden.supposedly you can cheat the system by putting pians in the grass ring.

I thinned those suckers out yesterday, man.. ha ha! When I have around 80, they die so much faster. So I experimented with this (because I didn't get to keep my nightopians/mepians that I paralooped when I had so many) and let them die down before going out to bring in more.well,I guess you need maren control...
Their lifespans seem a lot shorter when there's overcrowding, like Chao. I went from 75 or so down to 30 and I lifted it back to 45 before i left the garden.
I think there's a lot of conditions that add to the lifespan here.

well,we'll just have to keep playing!

I'm gonna go ahead and agree with that, 'cause I had 79, and while I was IN the garden, I noticed the number fluctuate between 70 and 79. I try and keep it at about 50 now, to see if that lets em stay longer. If all else fails...... fill the world with Nightmarens!!! Mwahahahaaaaaaa!!!I seem to notice that everyone has a problem when they get to 80. They started dying quicker, no matter how many blue chips you have on you and give them. keep laughing.just remember to put your fav mepians in the sleep section before the rampage.

I thought about dropping some nightmaren in there to thin them out. But if you have a ton, you just need to idle around for about 5 minutes and you'll lose over half of them. Then walk around and revive the ones you recognize as your favourites. Thats what I did. I have a few mepians that aren't in the circle and I bring them back up and a couple nightopians and let the rest disappear.

smart move.

The Pians breed like rabbits. I had 15 once, right? I stayed in the garden for ten minutes and suddenly I had 57. Another five minutes left me with 89.

theres only one thing that can take care of that:Marens
#18
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:12 PM
I tried that. My game glitched and the Maren never made it in. It was falling but then it disappeared.

then try Purgy's method...
#20
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:18 PM
I should. I'll keep myself at about 40.
#21
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:22 PM
even thats hard...
#22
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:29 PM
Then 20 might do it. I want enough so it's fun, but not too many.
#23

good choice

And enough to take care of my sh!t while I'm gone. Don't need my garden going to ruins because some Pian decided to screw off on his shift.
#25
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:34 PM
true, but if he's off his shift than he's probably knocking another one up.
#26
Posted 27 January 2008 - 08:34 PM
Hey, that's another Pian to work. Yes, I'm a slave driver to these little guys. Shut up.

got it...

Pians breed as fast as they die, which seems to be 1 minute.
#29
Posted 28 January 2008 - 09:12 PM
It sort of varies for me. I've had pians born then die in a matter of seconds, and there's one I have (his name's Meoph) who's been alive since I first caught him almost a month ago and I haven't had to feed him once. It's like he forages his own food.

if only my mepians were like that *begins to daydream*...
#31
Posted 28 January 2008 - 11:28 PM
I think in my own garden, my Mepians are little toughies. They last a lot longer than my nightopians and come to think about it, two days ago was the first time I'd ever seen any of my mepians die, and that was one of my deworm mepians. I revived it and all, but thinking back on it, every mepian I ever caught/was bred in my garden is still alive. I have most of my original set of nightopians, but I have to constantly revive them.
#32
Posted 28 January 2008 - 11:32 PM
Good, but in my garden,a second doesn't pass without my pians fainting...
#33
Posted 28 January 2008 - 11:37 PM
I noticed if I run around in circles frantically, my Pians will eventually follow me around like baby ducks.
#34
Posted 28 January 2008 - 11:41 PM
probably they'll do that if you have blue chips.then they'll act as if they were starved dogs...XD
#35
Posted 28 January 2008 - 11:56 PM
No, I had no blue chips left. And they were all perfectly well fed. I just started running around and suddenly I had a mob of little THINGS after my precious life juices!
"He's one of the zombies now! LOOK OUT FOR YOUR BLOOD!!!!"

Why,of all the rundown stations, would you choose nicktoons?
#37
Posted 29 January 2008 - 12:48 AM
Because I love Invader ZIM and I don't give a flying #*%$^ what anyone says. Can we get back on topic here?
I was just trying to say that my Pians are weird.
