As you guessed, Martijngamer is my partner in crime and fiance. He's the one that was with me when we grabbed all these exclusives. Kudos to him for his sneaky cell-phone skills!

Reala's body is pretty much exactly the same as the original, slightly darker (only a shade or few) from the picture you did. Reala's new vest is pretty much a combination between his and NiGHTS.

Awesome.. and thanks again to both of you. I'm gonna have another go at this.

Oh, nice~! I'm not too sure about the collar, but the rest looks cool. I really like his gauntlets. Hope there'll be screenshots of him soon...

Initial lineart:

Looking good, we're getting there! A stripe or two more to the boots should be added, and I do believe that the gauntlets extended to the hands, so in that case it should be like Link from Zelda: the first 1/3 of Reala's fingers should be black, the rest yellow/goldish.

The vest has the same cut as NiGHTS, but instead of the three little diamonds in the center, there's a big gem, like NiGHTS, only purple. The underlying color, instead of white, should be black.

The mask is almost perfect, only the top part should be lowered to contour with the eye-holes. The crest part with the gem is perfect.

Of course I can't remember everything perfectly, but I'm doing my best! I think between us we can get it pretty darn close.

The top part of the mask needs to be a little thinner, but the crest looks great.

Clarification on the vest, the other two diamonds are there, but they're small and the middle one is big and purple. It doesn't begin under the vest, but rather the entire thing is over the vest.

I keep having the feeling I'm forgetting some detail with the shoulders... And as I recall, the black glove extended just beyond the beginning of the gauntlets.

Now I'm also pretty certain it was 3 stripes on the boots.

We'll get this eventually.

OOooh!! I think it's pretty accurate, but I was picturing something different with his glove/gauntlet thinggamabobbers. I say gold looks good on him, a liiiiiiiittle darker might suit him better, but still! Nicely done!

The gold does fit with his claws and the yellow on his vest though. Other than that, the mask does look a bit out of place as if it's not really a part of Reala's design. It seems more like a seperate item on its own.

No matter how many times I look at it...I just don't like the mask. I guess I hate it due to the fact that the party I liked most about Reala was his eyes. Now they covered them up. Thank you Sega.

As for the Reala contest....I think its already done. No one came close to this. I mean, no one was expecting a mask and a giant purple center gem. Actually, I like a lot of the Reala desgns the fans drew more than the one I am seeing now.

The person who saw Reala did not say there was a cape. Also, the drawings you see on this board are what two people are trying to do to show what the new Reala looks like. No where is there a cape.

I hope Reala at least takes the mask off at times... I mean sure, it looks splendiferous and all, but hey! We'd like to see that nasty lovely's entire face at least once in the new game. At least I think so.

Overall, though, I am 100% ecstatic over Reala's return... and over the fact that they didn't try and over-fancy him up. The small additions they've added to his outfit are just icing on the cake... not a whole other layer we couldn't possibly stomach!
