Ok, so are there any NiGHTS fans out there that work at a Disney Park on the Peter Pan's flight ride? Because if there are, then I have an idea for you!

So after playing NiGHTS JOD I went to disneyland and rode Peter Pans flight, and when I saw Big Ben, I was like "Why isn't NiGHTS on top? He/She should be!" So my plan is to on NiGHTS's birthday (July 5th), sneak a clay figure of NiGHTS onto Big Ben, and maybe do the same thing w/Reala on Reala Day (April 1st)!
The logistics still need worked out, things like figuring out what scale the clock tower is and how big the figure should be, but otherwise it would be a fun way to honer our favorite purple jester! After all, what better place for him/her than "the place where dreams come true?"

So who's with me?!? (Please note that this is just an idea; I don't want somone to loss their job trying this! But if its posable, why not?)

P.S. If this is in the wrong category, please let me know!

EDIT: THIS WAS A REALA DAY PRANK THAT WAS ACSEDENTLY POSTED EARLY. I HAVE HAD NO INTENTION OF ACTUALLY DOING THIS. Thank You for the cool picture suggestions though!

I don't work at a Disney Park (or live remotely close to one) but I think this is a capital idea. Go for it!

I'm not sure the legal stand point of this, let alone how long the figure would last up there before being destroyed by elements and birds. I'm sorry to say, but it sounds like a bad idea. As sentimental and sweet as it is, it would be more trouble and less rewarding than it's worth. Instead, why not craft a fake Big Ben model that is roughly a few feet high and place a small figurine on that and take a few pictures? It would be significantly less dangerous and if you coat everything in a glaze or a thin layer of resin and keep in in doors, it should last twice as long. c: Would also make for a great room decoration too! Imagine it also being a lamp, which I can totally see being plausible. Aha! If you decide against it, I'm going to try making a lamp for myself; but not of Big Ben, but of Bellbridge Tower~ Ehehe... Sorry... Rambled a bit there.

Still, if you're set on getting those figures up there--- I highly recommend making sure they are coated in thick layers of resin or at least something to protect the original clay model from rain, sleet and snow... Not to mention wind damage! Also, gluing them down onto the tower would be a good idea as well--- Don't want those birds getting to them and snatching them for their nests. I also suggest trying to find a place on Big Ben where they have something over them, like a support beam or anything to help further protect them from the elements.

I also have to say; tread with caution. If you plan on putting clay figures on the top of a tower like Big Ben, please don't do anything that will put your life at risk. Also, check the laws of vandalism for London--- Because I'm pretty sure gluing clay figurines onto a historical and well known landmark is technically a form of that.

Oh I posted this really late at night so I wasn't thinking at all! I wasn't planing to put a figure on anything, that's why I put the tag 'prank' in the tags. It was manly to see what people thought. :)

P.S. I did not mean the real Big Ben, I meant the one inside Peter pan's flight, but still not a good idea! :P

lol Shepard Fairey's "obey" Andre the Giant guerrila posters come to mind; imagine a NiGHTS one with the word "dream".

Oh derp XD Still, most of what I said applies; even more so the vandalism portion. xD; I think making a Bellbridge lamp sounds significantly more safer and a lot more fun anyway~

We'll, I did make a paper mâché monster for an art class a year or two ago. I think he's still in the basement. He was like a de-armoured Meta Knight with berry-twig antlers. Called him Nachtlicht, which I believe is German for "night-light".

I actually just got back from a trip to California and while I was there, I went to Disney Land and I thought of your idea when I went on the Peter Pan ride. And honestly, that entire first segment of the ride just screams "NiGHTS!" It could totally be redecorated into Bellbridge and look even more amazing than it already does. Though, as people have already mentioned, a little thing called the legal system wouldn't think too highly of someone putting NiGHTS on top of the clock tower in the Peter Pan ride. Maybe if Sega Land ever becomes a thing, we can get away with doing this. :P

Thank you all for your ideas! I wrote this topic on impulse, so nothing serious was going to come of it. :P I'm flattered that you thought of my crazy little thought MidnieandBeyond! And I think Sega and Nintendo should have parks next to each other, like Disney and California Adventure. :)

Another idea for any NiGHTS fan living in London is to make a model of NiGHTS, and take a distant pic of them through the Westminster Clock Tower (Big Ben is actually the name of the bell).   The tower can be seen through a lot of angles in a distance in London from a lot of stops, so it's a photograph that is possible and legal.

Pertaining to the initial post, it is a risky idea, but it would be interesting to pull off if someone were able to (and wouldn't get into any trouble, of course). I would definitely be worried about the wind knocking it down or birds taking it as others have stated, but if it were secured there that would be awesome! Considering that you wouldn't be able to modify the ride or the support system of the ride itself to protect the figure, you could craft the figure and attach a base to it and some sort of top to it to shield it from the weather and birds, although it might look a little weird and not the way it should. Just an idea though~

I really like the lamp idea but I've never made a lamp before, or anything that needs some sort of electrical wiring to function. But my brother might have an idea of how to do so, so maybe I can get his help and try to make a NiGHTS themed lamp, or something like that.

Can I just say that one of the many reasons I love this series and it's fanbase is because it's so very inspiring and supportive of each other? Because it's true <3
