[Dreamer#96]

"Youko!" Lucas gasped. He tried to get up but the pain in his body was too much. He looked to see if the Red Ideya was still there, but it was gone, along with the other Ideya they collected.

[EZEKiAL]

The Ideya appeared around Lucas, bathing him in their light. A familiar voice blew through the Visitor's head like a breath of wind, whispering.

"Lucas...the Ideya Palace...take me home...!" The Ideya formed a circle, opening a portal out of the void.

"Take me home, Lucas!"

Lucas regained his strength and got up. "You're not going to win this time Scykhell." Lucas then ran through the portal and appeared outside at the Ideya palace in Ethereal Forest.

Scykhell threw the boy away, then grabbed the fox and choke-slammed her into the ground.

"You've caused me enough trouble, mutt!"

Youko yelped in pain and struggled to breathe, snarling at Scykhell, "And...I'm proud of it...!"

Twilite had also been battling Scykehell. She just wondered, how much time did they have before Slick and Tide found them? If Scykehell was THIS dificult to beat, then Scykehell,Tide and Slick would probably finish them all. Twilite noticed the Ideya's light on Lucas. She had to prevent Scykehell from seeing this or else he'd go after Lucas!

She fired her rifle at Scykehell's hand, making him drop Youko, then began firing at his eyes. She cranked up the power from 3(knockback) to level 6(pulverize). Scykehell's vision would be blurred for a few minutes, but they still had to make sure Lucas got out safe!

Scykhell growled as the beam seared his claws, then smashed Youko into the ground with an earth-shattering punch. The manic Nightmaren ran full-steam at Twilite, preparing to ram her into the barrier he had created.

Meanwhile, Scykle's Ideya Palace was glowing brightly as Lucas drew near.

Youko groaned in pain and sat up slowly, then looked at Scykhell charging at Twilite. She snarled softly, but then teleported herself out of the chamber to find Lucas.

Yori teleported also, following Youko.

Youko groaned in pain and sat up slowly, then looked at the red ideya. She looked back to Scykhell, then dashed towards the ideya to grab it.

(Erm, it's gone with Lucas and the other Ideya.)

Scykhell's enemies disappeared; he had failed again. He sighed listlessly, scratching his rump and leaning against the twisted Ideya Palace. When he glanced over, the Ideya was gone!

"Ack! ...damn it!"

At the Ideya Palace, Youko snickered at the thought of what reaction Scykhell would make when he found out the ideya was gone. "What an idiot..." She sneered.

"I'll say, he didn't even notice it gone." Yori added with a grin.

[EZEKiAL]

The four remaining Ideya drifted to their pedistals, basking in the colored light of the Palace. Without warning, the orbs shone brightly, returning the ancient, grey Ideya Palace to its sky blue glory.

The symbols covering the ruin walls lit up like Christmas lights, responding to the reawakening. The tiny ball of light that the Palace had been attempting to create burst forth in a rainbow of dazzling colors. Fragments of the air itself came together and slowly pieced together a familiar shape. When all the light had cleared, a pair of navy blue eyes, set into a tan, painted face, blinked curiously.

"What'd I miss?"

"Scykle, you're back!!" Youko barked, running towards Scykle and leaps at him.

Twilite nodded, trying not to cry in happiness. Instead, she shook Scykle's hand. "Welcome back, Scykle."

Meanwhile, Tide and Slick were listening to their 'master' gripe about the lost Ideya. He would just blame them until he was done, so Tide stood up. "Aw, shove it up your nose, Scykehell." He snarled. He braced himself for the oncoming shouts of fury such as, 'WHAT?!' 'How dare you defy me?!' 'Watch your attitude young man or no more super abilities!', to name examples...ok, maybe not that last one. ( )

Tide and Scykehell got into a shouting match, while Slick simply hid in a corner, looking for mice. Hey, he hadn't eaten in over a century! He looked at the two argue and sighed. "It's like a married couple, I swear..."

Back in Ethereal Forest...

"Scykle! You're alive!" Lucas ran up to Scykle and hugged him. "I can't believe it, you're alive!" Lucas said.

Scykle laughed, and messed up Lucas's hair with one of those grandpa head rub things. He turned to his other friends.

"So, what on Nightopia happened? Where have I been?"

[Masterweaver]

Hidden in the trees, Dulia rose an eyebrow.

So, the blue-belled nightmaren could come back from the dead? That would be a useful ability to have. Quite useful.

He came to a decision and descended from the branches. "I am so sorry to interrupt this delightful reunion, but I fear that I must inform you that the nearby portal is seeing an awful lot of activity. An awful lot."

Youko turned to Dulia and growled, "Who're you suppose to be?"

[Masterweaver]

"Zac Efron," deadpanned the orange-and-red clad jester. "It doesn't really matter, though, does it? I would personally be more interested in the increasing lack of unpossessed visitors. They're dissappearing..."

He smiled.

"...nightmarishly fast."

[Aura24]

"You seem to be happy about it..." Youko hissed.

[Masterweaver]

"Oh, you misunderstand." Dulia's smile grew. "I am simply delighted to have found you before this.... travesty could continues any further."

He floated over to Lucas. "After all, we can't have our dear, dear visitors all enslaved by those wicked, evil Nightmaren, can we?" His gaze was brought to meet the boy's. "Especially so young..."

[Aura24]

"Hmm... you look too happy... You must be a spy or something!" Youko growled, snarling at Dulia.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle stared at Dulia in silence, still slightly dazed from his resurrection.

"What exactly happened while I was gone?" he asked, narrowing his eyes in distrust for the unwelcome guest, "Why are so many visitors roaming about?"


Meanwhile, Scykhell and his companions were making their way through the abyss.

"Do either of you know where the hell we are?"

Back in Ethereal Forest...

"Well the whole story is kind of long, however," Lucas said, "Reala somehow went through the portal and started luring visitors in, and the worst part is, that portal leads to my town!"

[Aura24]

"Oooh! I'll tell it, I'll tell it! Youko barked out to Scykle, "Wizeman gained very bad powers from you after you died, then other ally Nightmaren came and fought against him and his army of Marens. And NiGHTS appeared and helped us out. I beated up your evil brother, and then Wizeman retreated and we won. And then NiGHTS flew off somewhere in Nightopia and we went on a quest to bring you back to you life. And there was danger, and evil, and...and Reala lured a large group of dreamers into Nightopia to turn them into an army!"

Yori stood and looked at the group from a distance, listening to their conversation.

[EZEKiAL]

"That's awful! Thank you three for bringing me back, though." He turned to Dulia. "As for you, come with us to save the Visitors if you like, but don't test my kindness..." Scykle called on his friends to leave, but then noticed Yori. "Who...? Is he a friend of yours, Youko?"

[Aura24]

Youko turned to Yori, then looked back to Sckle, "Well...he's sorta a new companion...and my playmate." She grinned innocently.

Yori nodded to Scykle, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Scykle. I've definitely heard so much about you."

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle grinned with the slightest hint of jealousy. "Nice to meet you, too Yori. What corner of the Night Dimension are you from?"

"Yori helped us get through the abyss when we went to get the last Ideya" Lucas said.

[Aura24]

Yori glanced away, "Sadly, I come from the darkest part of the Night Dimension. It's been dangerous these days..."

[EZEKiAL]

"Well, regardless, you helped put me back together. Thanks!" Scykle motioned for Lucas to get on his back, then called out, "C'mon, guys, let's check out that portal!"

[Aura24]

"Right behind ya. Scykle!" Youko exclaimed with a smile.

[InTheNightlight]

"We've gotten this far already, so I'm in!" Twilite grinned.

Meanwhile...

"To answer your question, Scykehell, I don't know. Quite frankly, I'd thought that YOU had constructed this Nightopia, as a trap." Tide answered. However, he was curious. Where were they, anyway?

Slick, in the meantime, was taking small bites out of a large mouse he'd found. Hey, he's a snake, what do you expect? He didn't quite care where they were. There were plenty of mice here.

[Masterweaver]

"I would join you," Dulia said, smile unwavering, "but I'm rather unfortunately on the run right now. I hope you understand when I remain behind?"

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle nodded wearily, and took off with his team of friends towards the nearby portal.

"So, Lucas, your family lives within this portal? Have you seen them pass through, yet?"


In the abyss...

"Of course I didn't make this place. Boss sent us here to guard the Ideya...but I think we're lost!"

Back in Ethereal Forest...

"Well, I wouldn't expect to see my parents, they're always busy during the day, they wouldn't be wandering around here, my classmates however, it's a weekend, at least I think, I lost track of time awhile ago, so I'm guessing that some of them might be here." Lucas said.

Tide glanced at Scykehell. 'Boss'? So Scykehell was working for someone? Must be Wizeman.(Uh, no DUH, Tide! ) Well, he'd have to wait to see...

[EZEKiAL]

"By whom I mean Lord Wizeman, of course," Scykhell randomly added.

Back in the Ethereal Forest outskirts...

Scykle looked up at the portal to the Waking, watching as humans nearly poured out.

"Well, guys, how are we going to do this?" the Nightmaren pondered, kneeling to pet Youko.

[Aura24]

"How about we skewer or skin alive any Marens nearby who are helping with this dreamer process?" Yori suggested.

Youko grinned to Yori, "That's what I thinking!"

Scykle laughed loudly. "Well, I guess it's settled. What do you guys think?" he asked, turning to Twilite and Lucas.
