You know, in retrospect, this whole mord thing is really nothing more than an exceptionally lazy countdown site. Only Sega was too cheap to make the actual site so they're just having some guy post letters.. XD

You have to admit, though, this is a lot more entertaining than watching a timer. Even though I wasn't a Sega fan back in the day (because I wasn't even playing video games when most of these characters were in their prime), I'm excited about this game. It looks a lot more fun than Mario Kart and I'm gradually getting more acquainted with Sega characters. It's all you guys' fault! You're turning me into a fan of old-school Sega!

I had to dive in to the official AllStars Racing Forum to find it since Kellie didn't post it anywhere else. Apparently she's been having a busy day today.

And apparently, according to what Kellie just said in that forum, the order the letters are appearing in are pre-determined.

I did a wikipedia search on the game, and it's apparently a key item or something in the story. (Didn't know anything about the game besides it's title before this.)

The Dragon mirror is like the major plot item/point/device of the entire game.

It certainly is. I think the first few words that are uttered is "where is the mirror?" by the bad guy, Lan Di. You're thrown references for the item as soon as the game starts so even if you've only played Shenmue for a few hours and lost interest you'd already have known that there is a Dragon Mirror in this game.

To tell you the truth, I was kinda hoping for the epic return of an old Sonic character, but Ryo's pretty cool too, so I'm content. (But, the thing I don't get is- THEY ADD BIG BUT NOT MIGHTY!?)

Apparently, SEGA of Japan are really keen on Big. No, seriously, not even in a joking sense. They think he's a really great character. I wish i was shitting you.

Sumo Digital did say they didn't entirely select the final cast for this game and that SEGA of Japan have a shoe in with the cast too, meaning that Big the Cat was 90% probably selected by SEGA of Japan to appear.

Anyways, it's Monday. We're back to the pre-determined puzzle of drag-athon for another week. Let's buckle up and get ready for more brain draining action as every other letter gets filled in besides the fifth and sixth words.

...why? He's a complete waste of space and character. We could've had like Espio, Mighty, Metal Sonic (as an actual story character) or something in Sonic Adventure. But no. MOTHERF---ING BIG. He's a completely worthless character. He's dumb as hell, not to mention a shallow character, and has perhaps the most soul-eating voice of any character in Sonic. No, nevermind. THE most soul-eating voice. Why anyone on Earth would like that character is beyond me, and I'm sure you have your reasons, but really, people. C'mon.

I'm sorry, but I really, REALLY hate Big. He's not a cat. Cat's don't look like that. Blaze is a cat. Big is an abomination.

Someone botched up again with the SEGA FTP. Remember how last time someone left all the Sonic Unleashed stuff on a SEGA ftp in clear view for anybody to come along and find? Well, they've bloody done it again. Someone's going to get sacked soon, i'm sure of it.

Anyways, this news is a bunch of info regarding various SEGA games in the making. 'Sonic Racing' was brought up on the info-sheet, regarding DLC. It seems there are downloadable content being planned for AllStars Racing ....and the PS3 might be getting exclusive characters for download in the form of Rare characters. Not rare characters as in characters that are hard to find, i'm talking about the video game company Rare, people responsible for Banjo and Kazooie.

So, now...with this in your mind as something that is being considered, what the hell is going to be going on here? DLC for AllStars is a massive YES from me because if we have the chance to get more SEGA characters in then i'm a happy bunny as this way any character that is left on the cutting room floor now has a chance to make it back in the game. I just hope they don't waste the DLC opportunity by only adding characters from other game companies in.

Anyways, this all just a rumor right now. SegaNerds is reporting on it on their front page. If SEGA email them telling them to take it down then it's pretty close to confirming that everything that is on that info-sheet is true.

Only thing is, Rare is owned by Microsoft, and so is Fable. No chance of them appearing on the PS3. Perhaps it was a mistake, but it could also mean seperate DLC characters for specific platforms ?

Of the few games that have DLC for Wii, it's usually in the main menu of said game (such as Sambe de Amigo).

hmm, i'm thinkin a bit about this word code thing, and thinkin that why would they not allow crazy taxi in it for being too realistic, but then put in shenmue? that and "dragon" and "reality" both relate to NiGHTS aswell still, i hope it's anything but bloody helen the bloody code doesn't even fit for her, so i'm just talkin nonsense here now, but yeah. elliot>helen (and not in a sexual manner!)

on the subject of sonic games, i have a small booklet with SA2, and it shows gameplay but sonic has his normal shoes on, not the soap ones. were these a late addition to SA2 does anybody know?

He had his normal shoes in the Showcase Demo or whatever before it came out, but he never has them in the game. Ever.

It's actually MJ and Sega racing. Sonic dos the crotch grab, Beat does the "Smooth Criminal" lean, and NiGHTS will moonwalk, if he's in it.
