A couple NiGHTS ago I dreamt I was in this shop-type thing, and in a glass case was a little NiGHTS statuette. I had to stand on a NiGHTS-colored stool to see it.. it was lit from above and had him in some kind of sitting position, I think. I still want to make one, grr..

no way.. the boards automatically prevent us from typing NiGHTS any other way! This whole time I just thought people were being diligent.. lol..

Seen him twice in a dream, both encounters were non-lucid.
First encounter was more UV NiGHTS than regular NiGHTS. He was wearing a tuxedo and sat at some posh restaurant. He seemed somewhat confused as to why he should be there.

Second encounter was a few weeks ago where i was in my old school hall, sitting down for assembly. As i turned to the left i saw a TV set that was turned off but the glass screen was reflecting what was going on behind me. NiGHTS (in his old costume with the purple neck-scarf thing) was sat behind me, holding his hand above my head and was smiling and so i smiled back. This dream had a really innocent and fun feel to it. I enjoyed that.

In both of those encounters NiGHTS did not speak and i only saw him for a short while.
I am learning how to go lucid as i would like to be able to wake up in the dream and spend some time with him. I'd certainly give him one hell of a hug, that's for sure. Right now, i need to work on my lucidity a lot more before i'm able to do something like that. It should be worth it. ^^

I'd rather stick to ambiguity. I say "he" only because for some reason it sounds right to me, not because I'm really labeling him as such. I also don't like doing the whole "shi", "shim", "s/he", "she/he" its just all so annoying/weird to type, especially because I wouldn't ever say those things out loud.

Oh, goodness *giggles* When I read "shim", it reminded me of my father.

Anyway, back on topic. I did see NiGHTS once that I can remember so far which I think was my first real lucid experience. That was over a year or two ago after reading about lucidity on the old NiD forums and I though I would try it. So, I tried that night, which didn't work. I tried again the next day, and I succeeded. I felt like I was falling from my body into darkness think as water and I couldn't move. Then I landed on my feet and a landscape materialized around me. I don't remember exactly what it looked like but NiGHTS had appeared shortly after. I remember having a short conversation with NiGHTS but I don't remember what was said.

I just had my first lucid dream in a loooong time.
It started out, i was sitting in the car with my mom and dad (dad is dead in waking world). This dream was pretty normal and all untill i said, "its cool to see dad again, to bad this is just a dream" Then i went lucid, jumped out the car window and flew away. Then you know who i went looking for ^_~. "I wonder where NiGHTS is" Then he flew right by me, showing off his new clothes. Then we flew around and whatever.

Aww, that's cute! I can see NiGHTS doing that.
As for me... I have only seen NiGHTS in my dreams twice. Once he was actually showing off for me in some huge room with no ceiling... doing all these fancy poses and air tricks. It was fun to watch. The second time... I think he was just passing through, but I vaguely recall seeing him at a large party in my church's basement. It was funny, though, because the party consisted solely of other Maren and Gens. I almost said "hi" to Valentine (he was talking to ASTRiMA), but I was too shy to do so. I still regret that to this day...
I don't usually see any Nightmaren in my dreams besides Selph, but he's a given as he follows me everywhere. <3 I have also seen several Gens (besides in that party thing) but have never interacted with any of them.
I'm sorry, I'm digressing now! Let's hear about some other dreamers' encounters with NiGHTS!

Recently had a dream in which I had my first encounter with him... kinda. There was this young girl, looked about 10-11, walking about in a bedroom. These sparkles surrounded by a pale purple-pink light appeared, and began moving about. Then they started to swirl and take shape, and NiGHTS manifested himself. He was see-through though, not solid. He flew around her and stopped to face her, his back to the window and night sky beyond it. He held his right hand out to her, which she hesitantly reached out and touched. At this point I had just been watching from 3rd person, then I started feeling what she was feeling. She got this feeling of calmness and happiness, and could "feel" him... can't describe that feeling with words though. He smiled, bowed and kissed her hand *aww* and she got the biggest smile on her face I've ever seen. lol And he spoke, though his voice wasn't what I had pictured, but wasn't off by much. It was male, but had a semi-deep, elegant tone to it. Was lovely listening to him talk~ He said something about... " I have heard you calling my name, and so, here I am " or something like that. Then the dream ended. >: *sadness* Was still amazing though, even if he wasn't interacting with me directly. XD He's so graceful... it's entrancing just watching him move, especially with all those SPARKLIES. .__.

This dream was cool becuase I was NiGHTS in it. . The "hair and horn" theory was used. We werent wearing the hats. Um......>_> Reala was nice to me...Realy nice...*cough*

I encountered NiGHTS in my dreams about a month ago! As soon as my dream began I awoke and I was locked in a cage! And I remember seeing Wizeman, and he said something to me in a yelling tone that scared me half to death but I couldn't understand him. I just remember feeling really scared and I began to cry. then, after Wizeman left from the room I remember hearing a soft male voice calling my name. the voice called my name again. I remember looking up and there he was! NiGHTS! I remember asking himhow did he know my name and if he was real, but he just looked at me and smiled And I smiled back. Then he spoke to me and told me he was here to save me. Then out of no where he grew these long claws and took one slash at the cage and it broke, Then I fell out. I remember screaming as I fell because I have a fear of hieghts, but NiGHTS caught me in his arms and told me that as long as I'm with him I won't have to fear falling, because he will always catch me, then he had told me to close my eyes until we get to Nightopia. When I closed my eyes all I could hear were some really scary growling sounds and the wind rushing by very quickly, I remember one of the growling sounds were so loud that it scared me and made me scream, then I could feel NiGHTS hold me closer as we were flying. But soon after those scary sounds turned into birds chirping. Then I remember when I opened my eyes we were there in Nightopia! It was very beautiful! After we got there NiGHTS landed in some beautiful flower field. Then he let me down, And I remember being so happy and I gave NiGHTS a huge hug and thanked him for saving me, and to my surprise he hugged me back. Then the dream just jumped to us sitting under a tree and I remember him looking at me and smiling, But then for some reason I started to feel sad. He stopped smiling and asked me whats wrong, and I began to cry and I said that I wish I could stay there forever with him. Then I ask if I will ever see him again. But he smiled, then I remeber he just grabbed me and began hugging me. Then he whispered into my ear and said he promise we will meet again soon. then everything went black and I woke up!

But the funny thing was when I woke up I had tears in my eyes. I can't explain it.

I dream alot and sometimes my dreams make no sence at all but, that is the first time I encounterd NiGHTS in my dreams. For that whole day I felt sad. and I'm still waiting to meet him again!

Anyway, Finally after waiting so long, I saw NiGHTS again lastnight! I was back under that tree again but this time NiGHTS was flying around! He landed on top of some kind of pole thingy, Smiled at me, then he dove off of it and did a loop! I remember standing up and clapping! ^_^

Then the next thing I knew I woke up!!! >_< My younger sister woke me up! Errrrrrr! I want to cry! ,>_<,

I wish i could say i've seen NiGHTS, but even if i did, it probebly wouldn't be worth it, as i always see dreams for what they are*, despite my trys not to- Fractions of the Mind Desperatly comming up with something to keep us entertained in a State of sleep (or at least, that is how i see them...)

I might try having a NiGHTS Dream though, as i have a rather bizzare Traight- If i think about something while trying to acctualy get to sleep, i more then liekly Dream about it. Im pretty sure im not the Only one that can do this, but i might try it Tonight- I'd have tried it before, but what can i say? normaly by that point in time i just don't care and fall asleep anyway XD

*For example- I'll dream about something normal, thinking it is normal, then something wacky/ abnormal will happen, and EVERY Time, inside my dream, i just end up going "Wait wait wait, hold up, hold up. This is a Friggin' Dream. GODDAMNIT!"

I never had a NiGHTS dream...even when I was deathly obsessed with it 2 years ago... I still think NiGHTS exsists I think...Im so confussed! ;_;

EDIT: My friend had 2 NiGHTS dreams with me and NiGHTS. The first one was that me and NiGHTS were sitting indian style face to face. I kept on going "NiGHTSNiGHTSNiGHTSNiGHTS!" The second one,was that I was in a department store and NiGHTS was selling a purfume named Dream. I was obsessed with NiGHTS,so I went crazy all over her. The security had to take me away,lol.

For some reason, I just can't seem to have a dream about NiGHTS... This time, I dreamed that i was lost in a huge castle and all of a sudden, This puffy-type creature came out of nowhere and started chasing me! It chased me all the way to the throne room. Then, Just as it cornered me, Something flew out of nowhere and grabbed it, Then tossed it outside a huge window. I then realized that the one who had just rescued me was Reala! As i stared at him in shock, He flew up to me, Picked me up in his arms, And said: "Are you alright, My princess?". When i heard him say that, I gasped and blushed. And he smiled at me and kissed my forehead. Then i woke up...




NOTE: Next time, I won't alter someone's advice and eat lots of chocolate instead of candy. Maybe THEN i'll finally have a dream about NiGHTS! Or maybe it's just that i'm in love with Reala and i don't realize it...No wait, Maybe HE'S the one who's in love with me! I dunno...

I've had one lucid dream. It was the most coolest thingy ever... I won't describe it coz that would waste time, but I will say NiGHTS was there, slthough he didn't exactly talk to me - just gave me this really unconfortable gaze, and I felt like he was sending me back to reality. Which he did.
But I do agree that a lot of dudes will keep telling themselves they've seen NiGHTS to make themselves feel better. He is a HALLUCiNATiON, really.

I never lucid dreamed about him, and I didn't start actually seeing NiGHTS in my dreams until like the beginning of this year after rediscovering this site and hearing about the new game. I never "met", just saw, like I wasn't apart of whatever was going on in the dream.

However, when I had gotten the game for X-mas back in 96, I was aware of the effects that the purple dude had on my dreams; I'd sometimes dream of STH style echidnas, and they were always purple.

The first time I actually saw him I dreamed that I had found an anime about him and Reala and watched it.

Second time I dreamed I was playing the new game (but he wasn't in his new outfit), I was flying him through a bunch of ships and shooting at them (later I found out there was going to be a ship dream in the actual game...weird).

My latest dream (a few days ago, actually) I saw him in his new outfit, and he was talking to two little creatures. One was a little purple creature that resembled a Togepi and it was wearing a little outfit that resembled his own. The other was a round shaped critter that was a dark grey color.

So to my dismay, I never met. D: Oh well.

I'm just going to quickly note the first NiGHTS dream I ever had (it was last night), it's kind of jumpy so I'm going to bullet-point it.

-NiGHTS somehow got into the waking world and we were friends
-Helped me beat on some guys in a dark alley (Still don't know why I was down that alley...)
-Came up to me for some reason while I was microwaving my food at school (And nobody noticed...?!)
-Was in Safeway with me in the produce aisle

...I woke up with very happy thoughts just a few minutes ago

I had my first Reala dream 2 NiGHTS ago. I'm going to copy H-Blue and do bullet points (Hope you don't mind!)

-I was in line to get seated in a fancy theater (For plays)
-The guy in front of me was standing in front of a painting
-Reala comes out, waist up, and grabs his neck.
-Reala says "If you don't let me posses you, I will kill you
-The guy says yes (For obvious reasons)
-Later in the show, (I guess in the intermission) Reala-Dude comes on the stage
-He starts talking, and somehow, they separate
-Reala dies on stage, and the guy was taken to the hospital
-Later, at a museum, Reala's hat is on display
The end!

All I have to say is....Glad it was the guy to get possessed, and not me! XD
