Not quite. From what I've been reading the game has actually been in development since 2006. Their are SEGA development teams all around the world creating it as well.

Fun game looks fun. :3
But it kinda looks like the player doesn't really have to do much except go forward. Hopefully they'll change that.

Meh, the game looks like it'll be at least decent now (in my opinion). :|
But if I get the option, I'm sticking with the Sonic levels.
EDIT: Ya know what? We need to talk about the chao a bit more.
I think that they're going to change the evolution system a wee bit:
The stuff that you get in Sonic's levels will make chao go hero, and stuff you get in were-Sonic's levels will make them go dark.
Yeah, not much difference, but that's just what I think~

If I may say so, this looks SWEET. I'm loving it. LOVING IT I SAY! And Bowling for Soup on the music only makes me happier, heheh [/hopelessfangirl]
Oooo. Fast Sonic levels look fast. =o
But a few thing:
1. The music didn't really fit with the video (then again it could've been worse).
2. Were-Sonic's levels look hack n' slashey.
3. Lolwut?@Sonic torture.
Why am I reminded of Jak and Daxter. 
4. It seems that Dr. Eggy has gone to the pure ebil side. >:

new... thing. It looks like their were going with kind of a Cloverfield thing. Also, one of the dates mentioned during the video is April 1st. Not sure what to make of that.

Not really sure what to say to that. =/

Now I'm imagining half-assed gameplay which involves swinging (a la SA2) where if you are .01 degrees off, you fall and lose (whether it be by falling in an endless void or splattering against pavement). Things that you're supposed to hold onto will constantly slip from your grip and and enemies will slaughter you as you desperatly scramble to pick them again. You'll have to pick things like cars and hurl them at stuff, but it wouldn't work half the time (like Superman 64). And the auto-focus will prefer to lock onto a cockroach inside a loaf of bread in an open dumpster 10ft away instead of the enemies.

I've tried, but every dream I've had lately is all fragmented (it'll skip around every couple minutes) and I'm always tired.

I have a few! =D
There's a hilly field that sometimes had a log cabin in it (I've never been inside, though).
There's a waterpark where the rides are made out of wood (although the part that you slide on is still that hard and white material that most slides are made of that I can't remember the name of). There's a four-foot long camo-colored army plane just hanging there by a string (for whatever reason). There's also a few other military doodads there.
There's a dark wearhouse-like place that ALWAYS has atleast one object of color.
And there's another warehouse that's better lit, but it randomly floods half the time.
A museum that has exam desks and maroon-colored leather chairs. There's an oasis outside the second-story window. (Only been there once)
A desert at night-time with a few tents. (Only been there once)
Middle school full of superheroes. (Only once, also the place of my first lucid dream)
Highschool at night. (Only once)
A randomn neighborhood at night in the winter. (Only once.)

This has been on my mind for a long time now...The new Sonic RPG. I mean, its a new releasing and NiGHTS is tied into the storyline, addressing it that way makes it seem like he wouldn't be in an arcade type game like Tennis or Brawl, one of an RPG's main elements is the story.
But NiGHTS isn't in the new Sonic RPG.
That's Shade.
And Shade can't be NiGHTS because Shade's a girl. .-.

What if Reala had been one of those 'marens that got their souls replaced, but his original soul wasn't fully taken out, so there's a faint flicker of it left? =O
He and NiGHTS could've tried escaping, but Wizeman found out. So, when they tried to get away, Wizeman used his hands to catch them. Reala was caught, but NiGHTS was missed. NiGHTS would've tried to help Reala, but Reala yelled at him to save himself. So NiGHTS got away. =3
So Wizeman was ticked off so he replaced Reala's soul (although he didn't know that a teensy bit of Reala's soul was left) and Reala became the annoying little bugger we all know and love today.
So when the whole Helen scene happened a wee bit of what was left of his consciousness came up and made him look like that for those few seconds.
