When Mindoe came out, Scykle was still asleep, curled up in a ball under the covers. He was shivering, as if having a nightmare. But since it was only possible to Nightmarens to have dreams of memories, that wasn't happening. He was having side-effects from Reala's mask, but he still managed to stay asleep. He groaned a bit as he slept.

"He's... shivering? I will get tea from downstairs.." She thought, and went downstairs, to the kitchen.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle mumbled some incomprehensable words, then woke up finally. Mindoe wasn't around, so he began to search frantically for her. M-Mindoe? Where are you? P-Please don't leave me all alone! His skin was pale, and he continued to shiver. He finally layed back down on the bed, but didn't have the energy to pull the covers over himself. Why's bad just like this always h-happen to me? He sighed to himself, thinking that Mindoe had left him.

Mindoe quickly flew upstairs with the tea. She slowly opened the door, finding Scykle awake. "Ah, finally. Its already 3 o clock! Here is some warm tea, because you are shivering." She handed it to him gently.

He smiled happily at her. He held the tea weakly, and took a sip. He was a bit saddened by the fact that Mindoe had been unconscious when he had told her that he loved her, but he had plenty of time to tell her.

"I wonder why you are shivering... Its definitely not cold, and you dont seem sick..." Mindoe was worried as she sat on the bed next to him.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle smiled. Mindoe's the only one who had ever really cared for him. He looked down at his reflection in the tea, then quietly mumbled.

I love you Mindoe...

Mindoe's eyes lit up. "I-..." She could barely speak. "I love you too, Scykle"

He twitched. I............... Scykle fell silent, then smiled. A tear fell into his tea, and he quickly wiped his eyes.

Ergh...I'm such a sissy... He was ashamed of himself, but he looked up at Mindoe. Thank you for saving me from being a slave...I remember it all now...

"...You saved me as well.. I was a slave too..." Mindoe was quiet, then smiled. "And as far as I know... you werent crying."

Heh...thanks, Mindoe. He stood up, his legs still weak, and put on his hat. [i]C-Come on...we should get g-going... His skin was still very pale. He stumbled toward the door, then finally fell back down onto the bed. [i]Ugh...I don't think we'll be able to travel today, Mindoe...but you shouldn't have to stay in here with me all day. Go enjoy the town. He smiled.

"And what? You'll take care of yourself? Im staying with you. Oh, and get some more sleep.." She went into the bed.

Scykle was in no shape to argue. He laid his head on his pillow, and closed his eyes. He pulled the covers over himself and took his hat off again, then finally drifted into a light sleep.

Mindoe fell asleep in the bed as well, tired, but happy.

Scykle had some odd dreams that night, calling for an unsound sleep. He was restless and wiggled around a lot, but was finally able to sleep peacefully.

Mindoe woke up before Syckle. It was 5:00 am of the next day, and the sun was barely up. She got the empty cup of tea, and made more. She placed it on the nightstand next to Syckle. "I love you.." She whispered, and went back into bed.

Scykle, hearing the words, woke up immediately afterwords, with a smile on his face. He took a sip of the tea, then scooted closer to Mindoe, wrapping his arms around her and slowly drifting back to sleep. He smiled and said...

I love you too, Mindoe...

Mindoe woke up again, this time, at about 11:00. She slowly went out of Syckle's arms and got up. She opened the curtain slightly, only to see if there were any other Maren around.

Scykle awoke as Mindoe left his arms, this time out of some bad memory-dreams. He shook his head, then walked over to his female partner to look outside the window as well. All he could see was the bright sun, so he smiled and put his hands on Mindoe's shoulders.

"Are you still shivering?" Mindoe said looking back at him, and smiling.

[EZEKiAL]

Not at all. Scykle smiled back with his usual smirky-smile, then continued to look outside. He suddenly threw Mindoe onto the bed and slammed the curtains closed. He had a nervous look on his face.
G-Goodle! And REALA!

Mindoe looked Terrorized. "They're back?!?" Suddenly, the window crashed as A large Goodle and Reala came in. "You two! I have enough with this insolence! I will get you!" Reala screamed in rage.

[EZEKiAL]

Stay back, Reala! I won't let you hurt her any more! Scykle held his claws out in a fighting pose, and growled fiercely. He motioned for Mindoe to take cover, then continued.

I'm finally happy, Reala, and I won't let you take that away from me! Scykle's crystal began to glow a dim red.

"You are weak. I will break you, even if it means killing your girlfriend too!" Reala said with his teeth gritted, pointing at Mindoe, who was behind Scykle.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle wasn't going to take anymore. He swung a claw at Reala, who dodged and countered with a kick to the stomach, but the blue and silver Nightmaren didn't even seem phased by the blow. He swung a second time, this time catching Reala by the face and knocking his Persona off. He looked mad...VERY mad.

Who's weak now, Mr. Nightmaren General?

"Yoou.." Reala punched his gem, but Scykle didnt budge. "Wha..?!" Reala stepped back.

[EZEKiAL]

Dreamers aren't the only ones who get stronger with the power of Courage, Reala!!! Scykle caught Reala's hand, then swung him around, throwing him through the window he had broken into. He landed on the rock street with a ~THUD~, causing all of the Nightopians and Mepians to flee. He growled, putting the Persona mask back on his face, then stood up properly.

...YOU...I...yield...

Reala, of course, wasn't retreating...he had a plan.

Goodbye, Syckle; Mindoe. Reala smirked then disappeared along with his Goodles. Scykle looked over at Mindoe, then smiled.

Hey, we won! His chest crystal went back to normal.

Mindoe wrapped her arms around Scykle. "Im so glad.. you're ok" She let him go than said "That was seriously badass."

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle laughed, scratching his head. Aww, it was nothing...I just had to protect you!

"Thanks..." Mindoe looked at the window. "Do you think we should go to another town?" She asked.

[EZEKiAL]

Scykle shrugged, then stared at Mindoe as she was turned around. He blushed as he looked at her, but he didn't make a sound.

Nice! Scykle thought to himself.

"Lets leave before the inn keeper notices the room." Mindoe reached to Scykle. "Lets fly"

Scykle quickly shook himself out of his stare then nodded. Sure thing! He was still blushing, but he tried his best to hide it. He took Mindoe's hand, then smiled.

They flew away from the village, and over the canopy of trees. "There is a quaint village in Pure Valley, im sure we can hideout there.." Mindoe flew in that direction.

[EZEKiAL]

Right. So...Mindoe...are we...erm...an item now? Scykle asked, hopefully. He spotted the village down below, but waited for an answer to say anything.

She sighed. "Sure.." She said with a warm smile at Scykle. They landed and Mindoe realized something. "Do you have Blue chips?!"

Scykle smiled back, but then a look of realization took hold.

Not a single one.

"How do we get more?!" Mindoe panicked.

We could always sell some of these star chips I found. Scykle smiled. I'd give them up for your well-being.

"Ok..." Mindoe calmed down and smiled.
