Scykle held his love close, kissed her on the forehead, then continued to sleep. All was totally silent, and for that one night, all was peaceful in the Night Dimension.

The morning came hastily. As the sun hit Mindoe's eye, she woke up. She yawned and sat up. She patted some sleeping pian's heads. She looked around and saw a bag full of blue chips. It came with a note: "This is for you and your love, so you may take care of yourself.. -The hooded dreamer" Mindoe placed it next to herself and went back to sleep.

Scykle remained asleep, even as Mindoe got up. He slept a bit restlessly as she was up, but as she returned to his side, he was comfortable again.

Mindoe was'nt really sleeping, but dozing off. Who was the hooded dreamer? Why were they doing this?

Scykle began to snore loudly, interrupting Mindoe's thinking. He was having a good dream, but finally, he awoke, confused of where he was.

"Morning Scykle... someone left us this..." She handed him the bag and note. "Do you know who that is?"

Scykle grunted and rolled over, falling back to sleep. To his horror, he rollled over onto a sleeping Nightopian and it squealed, biting his stomach.
OW!!! He jumped up in pain.

Mindoe chuckled. "Wake up! You sleep to much." Mindoe said as a joke.

CLyDE wandered through the forest mumbling to himself "Where is she" he suddently heard two voices in front of him and quickly flew up into a nearby tree and hid. He looked down and spotted two Maren! "what?... I wonder if they're with Wizeman, I better stay outta sight"? he continued to watch the two...

Mindoe heard some trees rustle. "Scykle! Did you hear that?!" Mindoe whispered. She grabbed his arm.

Scykle grunted, rubbing his stomach, then shook his head. I didn't hear a thing. Why?

"I...thought I heard something" Mindoe looked at him. "Uh.. someone left us a bag of blue chips. and a note." She handed him the bag.

Scykle took the bag, looking into it. Huh, I guess it doesn't matter who gave it to us, as long as we have it! Let's head back to town and go to that inn where Scykhell attacked you.

"Can we... buy some stuff first? These clothes are so out of style." Mindoe pointed at her tattered clothing.

Scykle blinked a few times at Mindoe. Fine... He sighed and groaned at the thought of clothes-shopping, but followed his love to town nonetheless.

CLyDE watched from the tree as the two Maren headed off. Suddently a faint voice called to him "Please CLyDE follow them they might run into trouble again" he looked up in surprised and snarled "But why?!?! Aren't they with Wizeman?" when he heard no answer he sighed and set off to follow the two into town continuing to keep out of sight.

Several times on the way to town, Scykle heard something behind them, but he didn't give it any thought.

They stopped by a quaint clothes shop, and Mindoe got a new outfit. "Do I look fat?" Mindoe asked in her new outfit.

"No, you look ok to me" CLyDE said as he sat on the roof not realizing he just replied to the female Maren's question.

Yeah, you look hot...hey wait a sec! WHO ARE YOU?! Scykle held out his claws. Are you working for Wizeman?? Where's NiGHTS!?

"SYCKLE?! What the f***? Its me! Mindoe!" Mindoe said as Scykle held his claws towards her.

"OH CRAP!!" For a second CLyDE thought he had been caught, but was at the same time snikering over what the female Maren said. "Heh, maybe these two aren't with that old fart after all!" He hopped from the roof grinning as he landed near the male Maren. "Hello!"

Scykle looked blankly at Mindoe. Not YOU. THAT! Scykle pointed up at the 'Maren on the rooftop.

CLyDE looked up at the roof as he tried to hold back from laughing. He then poked the silver and blue Maren on his shoulder and snickered "umm...I'm over here"

What was happening?
Shadows flew past him..... he wathched them knowing they couldn't see him.... but Mindoe..... he had to be careful..... Mindoe could sense him...... He saw their eyes.... not aware of the gohst of a Maren, the lost soul.... really in control of Nightmare in a way they could not understand..... Patron of NIghtmaren..... is equal to Patron of Death.......
"Help me...." He whispered, praying one would notice, and pull him from the Limbo between Nightmare and Nightopia.... "Help... Me..."

"Uhh... Scykle?" Mindoe looked around "Did you just hear someone whisper?"

The notice of Mindoe was enough, and TORiAS came plumeting from the sky....

"What the....... WHAT'S THAT!!!" CLyDE shouted as he began to notice something was coming at them fast from above.

Mindoe turned around to see what looked like a comet "HOLY MOLY! What is that?!"

TORiAS stedied himself at the last moment, Flying low, then landing gracefully in front of them,
"Thank you, Grape.... I am TORiAS, and at your beck and call," HE bowed.

Mindoe blinked. "Who's Grape?"

"Oops" M-mindoe! I mean Mindoe!"

"Uh...your welcome!" Mindoe was unsure of what she did.

A pair of sharp, purple eyes looked at Mindoe from a distance in the foliage. Its three, multi-colored bushy tails swayed left and right from behind a small, animal figure and its fox-like ears twitched after listening to the conversation.

"I hear something...." TORiAS stared at the small fox...... "It's there.." He pointed.

The small fox hid back in the bushes to hide.

"Great... It's hiding.."

The fox tried to think of a way to escape without being seen. But she panicked and ran into the open.

"WHA!?" TORiAS fell over as the fox plowed him over...

The fox jumped on TORiAS' head and continued running. "Nya! Nya!" She teased.
