Yup, in paint.net from existing images. It's not amazing but it gets the point across. And it's not that I don't want Sonic in there, but even if NiGHTS isn't in it, I can always imagine that he's just NiGHTS... in a Sonic costume...driving a race car...

I've not seen this question asked so I thought I'd do it...

Is it unlikely that NiGHTS won't be present as an unlockable character within the game? Like he/she was in Sonic Riders?

Very unlikely as in 100% not. NiGHTS isn't playable at all. If he was I'd be out dancing in the streets lol.

I know we all keep going on about NiGHTS DLC but other than TJ&E has there been any other notable DLC rumors? It's just seemed a bit quiet on the DLC chatter recently after that first Banjo boxart got disproved for DLC.

edit- Angel yes we'd have to since he would be playable on the disc. But I'm 100% confident that will never happen. The only way NiGHTS will be playable is if we get DLC and it's gonna be a big struggle to show SEGA that people will buy it.

"Content Downloads" has not been changed from the Xbox game page since the update to make the title officially "Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing with Banjo-Kazooie".

If DLC is exclusive to the Xbox 360 version, will you guys be getting that version? Or were you guys planning to get the 360 version all along?

The extent of DLC the Wii can do is not on the same level as the PS3 and 360. For example, this is why Sonic Unleashed on the Wii has no DLC levels like the HD versions do. So unfortunately it is possible that even if NiGHTS makes it as DLC Wii players will be left out.

It does look pretty wicked, and being 360-less, I really hope DLC is Wii-bound! (Although Dad has a PS3... hmmmmmmmm...)

I don't mean to sound obsessive, but... the sparkles around the Sega logo and the Christmas ornaments at the end...

That was a really nice trailer regardless, captured the spirit of the game well. I really hope SEGA advertises this game well because it deserves to shift boatloads.

Yeah, that was a pretty funny couple of days we had on our front page. I hope the baubles and lights are a NiGHTS tease. This trailer would have been a great time to reveal NiGHTS as DLC.

Well, just in case I reccomend getting your matches ready along with something to record the burning of your "stuff"...

But I doubt it's a NiGHTS nod... I think it's just the Holiday theme of the trailer... then again... one COULD argue that the blue/purple bubble isn't a Christmas color, if compared to ideya, they do fit... or it could just be blue to represent Sonic... even if the shade is way off...

I'm personaly not seeing the Xmas trailer being anything NiGHTSy other than the fact it's christmas themed.

Nah, the trailer isn't a hint at NiGHTS, just very Christmas-y and reminds me of how pretty NiGHTS is. I would HOPE it's an indication that they're working on the DLC as we type, but we won't know until a for-sure announcement comes forth!

There won't be ANY burning happening (except when I make cookies or shut down yet another art thief on DA. XD). NiGHTS is too precious to be making such extreme bets without certainty!

We're gonna get our much-deserved DLC, I know it!

I'm trying to remain as hopeful as possible for NiGHTS DLC showing up. Anything NiGHTS would be good. But lately I just don't see much in the way of a light at the end of the tunnel... I hope if we don't at least get a hint, we're pleasantly surprised somehow when its released...

Hmm, I'm fighting the urge to jump to a conclusion: "360, you get exclusive characters. Wii, you get a shoddy additional Wii-mote accessory. PS3, you get...nothing." I find that especially strange because one would think that all games would start taking advantage of the Wii Motion Plus, and that wheel looks like it was designed just for the regular remote. If that's the pack-in, then I'd be hard-pressed to not want it to work with my other expensive and officially-licensed Wii-mote accessory. But that could also just be me being stupid because I actually don't own a Wii and only have a vague understanding of how all those extra plastic parts help to sell the game

I dunno, the PS3 version will have some Sixaxis control, but as far as exclusives go frankly if it'll prevent any other non Sega characters from infiltrating the box art I won't mind if the PS3 doesn't even have an exclusive. Though Sackboy or Ratchet seem like the more obvious choices. Jak and Daxter have been tossed around; they're not PS3 characters, though certainly Sony.

Oh what I wouldn't give to see the The Dashing Prince rolling on top of a big Katamari, his special attack being that he calls his drunk father, The King of the Cosmos, to knock every other player out of the race. At this point, I'd settle for that as a PS3 exclusive, wouldn't you? (I know, Bandai/Namco property, but it's only been on Sony systems and phones).

If that's all the Wii owners are getting, I'm just counting the days for people to go up in arms about getting short-armed. But, I'll be patient to see what else will be announced. This is definitely getting into the realm of ridiculousness, no? Sega pulling the Joker card on the Wii by taking the short road and doing what most bad 3rd party developers do, which is bundle a piece of plastic designed to entice people to buy the game. Sega...doing what shoddy 3rd party developers use as a crutch (I know about the Mario Kart Wii wheel, but let's face it, that's still pretty low, even Nintendo resorted to it).
