Failing that I just scanned the booklet in its entirety, anyone want to help with translations? (is it the same track information that appears on the old official JP sound website?)

No idea if this has already been translated but I'll try anyway.
EDIT: oh, and I see "PS2" in the text, so it can't be the same text that's on the old website.

I just realized... what happened to Disc 2?Thanks Kentilan This is the only part of the booklet that appears in Japanese which is why I'm curious. The other pages are full (and brilliantly detailed) track listings in English which i pieced together here:

Sorry if it doesn't always make sense.

For me who have been loving movies for a long time and have bought a lot of soundtracks, the thing that made me the happiest when we evolved from the LP to the CD era, it was the fact that they were the same albums, but there were more songs, or the songs were longer. Now with these CD, I tried to get everyone to fully feel such happiness, and got 3 CD to be made. Full compilation of Nightopia's themes is the main point this time, but I think the music used in the movies is also an important point. One song is a short thing, but the full set of famous music enlivens to the maximum an image without words. Just by listening to these, surely the the smiling face of Claris, of Elliot, will be revived in your heart as well.
Then compared to the old recording, the song order have been reorganized so that you can indirectly experience the gameplay. I was also worried about the play order of Elliot & Claris, but because I wanted you to fly with both in Twin Seeds in the end, the dream order is organized alternately. This is why this is the perfect album for you to experience the game indirectly, but one final thing. In fact, with the PS2 version, compared to the SS version, it has become easy to reflect the change of the music of Nightopia. Please enjoy with the game software the true form of the BGM that changes every measure.

"To do our best for the refreshing feeling of flying in the air"
This was the common mission that programmers, designers, planners, and of course we the sound team all had. Each part was pursuing this refreshing feeling in their respective field, and it took shape. We the sound team, we were obsessive about the complete cheerfulness; for example, about sound effects, when passing through rings consecutively, we would make sure that the pitch changes cheerfully; or the cheerful sound waterfall making a reaction like bashan! when plunging into it; about BGM, we were obsessive up to the melody, chord, rhythm, and vibrato of the timbre.
The things that gathered the best of the cheerfulness that was produced during the work, are added and multiplied by the play of every player. And when exceeding a certain fixed line (just like the time of totalization of Kin-chan's Costume Grand Prix), you should feel that "something" pleasant, maybe alpha waves or adrenalin, is secreted from the brain.
I've done this work for a long time, but I think that the reason I don't leave game development is for the pleasant feeling of the moment when causing such synergy.

Just after the end of the work on NiGHTS, I was very excited. I could not control that lingering enthusiasm, so I made the home page of the sound of NiGHTS as I liked, but then, discussions happened about making Christmas NiGHTS. Although my specialty was sound, I was concerned with making the story as well.
[note: I skipped the next sentence because it was too difficult for me to translate]
I think that at this moment I remembered the pleasant feeling of having my opinions adopted, such as 'Because I think that there definitely has to be a star on the top of a Christmas tree, let's link this to the "unsatisfaction" that Elliot and Claris feel'; or 'In the end, please hint at the absolute love, this absoluteness'. In the end, the narration that had been made with the intention of being temporary was also used, and finally I did my voice actor debut. Christmas NiGHTS became the starting point of "Sasaki who does a lot of things". In the present time as well, "doing a lot of things" continues.

Hearing that the soundtrack of 11 years ago was being born again and released, I felt happy and embarrassed. Because for me NiGHTS was the first project as a sound creator, for this work I became reckless and made efforts. This time, again after about 11 years, I tried to listen to it in its entirety, but I still thought that for me the music of NiGHTS was beautiful. In particular, in the complete version there are really many famous musics that were hidden. By the way, I love the flow of Disk1-17 "Gloom of The N.H.C." and Disk2-04 "Under Construction". The complete version is a special thing that only someone who have played the game can enjoy, and he can become a little happy because it is beloved and easy to get into. And, isn't he drawn into the world of NiGHTS of those days? The fact that I listen attentively all along, even now when 11 years have passed, it is a timeless universality; because in the music there's a unique feeling of the world that there isn't in others. I'll certainly become a favorite CD, and I'd like everyone to enjoy it.

The same text can be found on the old NiD website (here). According to that site, it's a free translation. But I once tried to translate it, and even though I didn't get everything, it didn't seem very similar to the English lyrics...
Can't read it on my computer. Is there any way I could get romaji for the Japanese and get a translation from there?
EDIT:
Oh, no wait. Got it now. And agreed, the lyrics are VERY weird. o_0

That would be greatI have a friend who speaks Japanese (yay!), and is willing to translate the Japanese lyrics. Hopefully he can!
According to the game credits, the lyrics were written by Tomoko Sasaki then translated by someone with an English name, so now I think these are actually the original Japanese lyrics, even if the site says it's a free translation.

If anyone still needs the roomaji and translation for the lyrics, it's here.
Sweet! Thanks!
Thanks to the romaji, I think I've been able to plot a rough course (timing) of how to sing the Japanese version of the song.
May record myself singing it at some point, who knows. I get bored pretty easily.

I didn't know the Japanese lyrics were different. The Japanese commercials (at least, the ones on this site) use the English ones so I always assumed those were the only lyrics out there. Now I want to hear the Japanese lyrics. Where has this been hiding in all the world wide web? Surely Sega wouldn't be mean enough to not post it online somewhere...right?If anyone still needs the roomaji and translation for the lyrics, it's here.

Sorry if it doesn't always make sense.
