NiGHTS into Dreams... OST

The NiGHTS into Dreams 'Original Soundtrack' was released under the PolyGram label on 7.10.1996. Credits to Tomoko Sasaki, Naofumi Hataya, Fumie Kumatani. Catalogue No# POCX-1038. It contains a lovely 14 page (16 including the cover) full color glossy booklet (in full Japanese) which alone is worth buying a hardcopy for. Rare. Mint copies are hard to come by and come with a protective slip and an Obi spine card. This CD can go for over $100 on Ebay. I bought mine for £80. A steep price but well worth its collectors value. Imported from Japan. It contains 24 tracks and is great value for money even after the ridiculous amount you may pay to grab this thing. The best part of this official CD is that it has the music in FULL and in lovely stereo before it was compressed for game usage and cut down. Track 1 is utterly glorious, i wish the SonicTeam would organise a full orchestral score of the soundtrack at some point, i'd definitely pay for it. This CD also includes 'Know thyself!' the deleted theme for the equaly deleted boss Selph. A little bonus there.

NiGHTS Journey Of Dreams Game Soundtrack Sampler

The NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams game soundtrack sampler was produced through SEGA Europe as a promo item and never put on general sale. We were lucky enough to be given a few copies to give away as prizes. Released in 2008 when the game went on sale in the UK, it contains two tracks and is a very nice bit of super rare promotional merch. Thanks SEGA!

REMiX CD's

CLUB SATURN was released by Breakdown Records in 1996. Catalogue No# BDR CD17. It contains a color double sided printed sleeve promoting Suburban Base clothing merchandise with an order form. Hard to get a hold of outside the UK. I bought this in HMV years ago with me and my brothers collective sparechange, over the years we've argued who it indeed belongs to. Worth buying if you like UK House music (not a big fan myself). It contains 15 game remix tracks 2 of which being NiGHTS into Dreams. The highlights of this CD for me were getting the 'Fighting Vipers' intro stuck in my head for weeks and hitting it a lot to stop it from jumping as my CD player isnt fond of the CD, also i was happy someone used voice FX's in a song, something i done myself later. This is pretty hard to find here in the UK as well so good luck ever finding it, you may get lucky in a gamestore 2nd hand bin as it came with a game demo disk of upcoming Saturn games too:) A cool CD for longish game remixes that work well as chillout music. And who ever needs a -reason- to listen to Jacques' music?
