That's what I theorized at first myself, but then wouldn't Will be William Edwards instead of William Taylor? Unless Elliot wound up in the secret service/witness protection program, there's no real reason for his last name to change. Apologies for shooting down your theory, but I did it to myself, too. I realised that myself, but choose to ignore it. Taylor could be his middle name. William Taylor Edwards works. It's a strectch, but perhaps.

Maresuke- DiGi must be trying to take over the world. I saw a video game series called...DiGi Sports, with that capitalisation.

That NiGHTS font is appearing everywhere. One of the directors for a play I was just in was wearing a jacket with the Ignatious font. I wanted to take a picture, but didn't have my camera.

Thought: I think I randomly make myself sad, angry, and frustrated that SEGA basically killed this game. It's not fair to Sonic Team, certainly not fair to us.. sometimes it does amaze me what they still managed to get done. But the JoD that people see on the shelf is not the JoD that was meant to be, and I doubt Sonic Team, or us will be getting another chance anytime soon to do justice in the matter.

Over the past year (and even more reinforced lately) I've started to notice that there is someone within SEGA that it dropping the ball on a lot of projects, and he seems common to several groups and regions so he or she must be high up in SEGA management. The fact that most of the original Sonic Team have left and formed new groups is also a sign of this. But I really wonder if someone is actually purposely sabotaging projects...

Really weird theory warning!!!:

Not only Nightopia was a dream, but the city of bellbridge as well! Also, Will never existed, but he was part of Helen's multiple personality disorder, and Helen herself is a mental case in Twin Seeds City. Helen though of Will, because she wanted to be more of a tomboy, but she couldn't be, because it would hurt her mother, so she eventually developed Will as her alter ego, and started playing football as him. But then, one day, the other boys of her team, noticed that she wasn't really one of them(they already wondered about her passion of pink, ehehe) and she was brought to a mental hospital. There she hallucinated the adventures of NiGHTS, Will and her, after her former friend Claris phoned her and told her about a really weird dream.

Theory ending.

XD When someting is difficult, hard to do, or just plain weird the term "Well THAT's trippy!" (Ex. "he put a trick question on the test? ohhh thats trippy...") is every so often uttered at my school and I can't help but laugh whenever someone says it

I have been playing JoD today, and I had a memory of when I first played the game. Every time a treasure chest appears at the Dream Gate after beating the boss maren, I have always thought that it was some kind of trap set up by Wizeman. Like if a Visitor opens it, then a killer Chihuahua would appear and attack the Visitor.

Well, I think that was actually the point of the first game: you're controlling the kids and you're supposed to identify with them. When you're controlling NiGHTS, you're actually controlling the kid dualized with NiGHTS...

But in fact, in JoD, NiGHTS is alone when you fight Reala.

Also, NiGHTS and Barney are awfully similar... both purple, both hug little kids, both like to dance around, they both like music, they're both usually over-the-top happy...

random thought: SA2 mentions a NiGHTS hotel, right? i wonder what the interior decor is like... maybe a different character theme for each room, with the lobby filled with Nightopians/Ideya? (I do plan on incorperating this into a fanfiction later, but I haven't gotten to that point yet... but STILL...)

I love Hotel NiGHTS (The dream resort...teeheehee), and I even used it in a fanfic, too! It was there that Sonic dreamt of NiGHTS,m and experienced Spring Valley.

I have just gotten all rank Cs in my new file, so I played the final ending. When I saw Reala grabbing the kids, I've looked at Reala's teeth. They looked a lot like fangs to me. Then I thought that Reala might have been a vampire.

Of course I know that Reala isn't a vampire, but I wonder why Reala's teeth is so...vampire like.

I tryed DiGi's suggestion of exploring (from Dreamcast numero 8) and realized how much you can and can't explore on foot in the chase missions. rather dissipointing, but kinda fun ounce the awakeners started showing up and I had to run like heck XD

You can't really explore at ALL in Crystal Castle, sadly, but Lost Park and Pure Valley are fun to run around in.

There's actually a couple of places in Lost Park that you can ONLY get to while Undualized, am I correct? Like that one Dreamdrop in the corner that's up on that cliff-face thingermajobberdabobber? Yeah, you know.

Pure Valleys fun because at some random spot (forgot where, but its SOMEWHERE) theres a massive Hill you can climb and with a little bit of turning (you don't have the same camera control as the My dream) you get a vacation photo perfect view of the windmills and hot-air balloons

In terms of Helen, Memory forest is kinda fun to poke around in, and I found a time-reducer-thingamabob (one of thouse things that delays the awakeners) behind some coral in Aqua Garden

What 'exploration' do you speak of? All I saw to be 'explored' was the capture, the door, and a waterfall. It doesn't simply stink at foot exploration, it utterly fails at it.

My random JoD thought of the day: Chasing after Octopaw can be addicting if you're aiming for a really high link count record and you're really persistent at getting said link count record. Also: Delight City (or at least the Broadway mission thing) can be blinding.

Trust me, I spent a good hour or two getting my A ranks on all Octopaw missions- and you've got to get a 100 link for that (my highest is two-sixty or so). Absolutely fun.
I absolutely abhor (does that have two r's?) Broadway Guide, but that's just me.
And yes, their names are extremely wierd. Maybe the names are just thoughts more random than this thread?

Random Thought- I went to the Cirque de Sol (or something like that) a while back. Their costumes reminded me of NiGHTS characters (except for the drag-clown, but that's beside the point.)

Yep, you can only reach the thingermajobberdabobber as Will/Elliot.

I spent a good hour or two getting my A ranks on all Octopaw missions- and you've got to get a 100 link for that (my highest is two-sixty or so). Absolutely fun.

I refused to continue on to another mission until I got an A on Octopaw missions. Remarkably easy for me, but then again, I prefer my old Gamecube controller - I find it easier than the Wii remote. (Highest is 886 in Aqua Garden, just established it today.) I never liked Broadway Guide, either - I kept on having to restart because I keep on accidentally jumping into the abyss.

Yeah, considering what I've come across, they probably are.

Cirque de Sol? You mean Cirque du Soleil? Never seen 'em myself...

'Nother random thought: Pian choirs are nice to listen to for a few minutes before the voices get on your nerves. They really seem to like to pass out while you're gone, too.

I think the font was also used in the end credits to the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. I'm not sure though.

My random JoD thought of the day: NiGHTS' hips are too thin for his body. If he tried to actually walk for longer than four feet, his hips would give out and he'd topple over. Thank Wizeman he can fly.
