Each day, I want everyone who checks here to post their current happy thought.
*One post per member per day, please.
*Try not to reply to other posts, except in short comments before your own though.
My happy thought: I got a book that I sold shipped today!

Made a written as-of-yet-to-be-recorded "commercial" for a fanfic. XP It's stupid, it's nonsense, but it is...epic. @_@ ...At least to me. I'm dor-kay.

A new year approaches, and thus another time to continue with past successes and dreams or another chance to start anew.

The 2000s no longer has to be sad because now he's got a 1 to hang out with him rather than a bunch of zeros taking up all his personal space.

I am in a lyric mode, yip-pee!
I might just get overly gid-dy
Beware the Forest Mushrooms
Spreading their spores till you sneeze, ah-choo!
There is a link - ah here it is
Move to the groove, now take it Vis!
"Up, down, right, left, down, down, shoot!"
Space Channel 5, give it up - Woot woot!
...Yeah. I be joyful

Just realized how much my childhood was filled with pirate-themed things. Pirates of Dark Water, Donkey Kong Country 2, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland (was reminded that a grown man was saying "Arr!" repeatedly at one point), plus a dozen other things... Sheesh, there were even cool pirate levels in some favorite games (Banjo-Kazooie's Treasure Trove Cove and Super Mario RPG's Sunken Ship level just to name a couple).
And I couldn't be happier with how they affected my life.

We await your comments with sheer delight, Kisuke-Cola.i'm gonna comment more often! happy for me, a pain in the ass for everyone else lol.
My latest endeavor in film prodution is actually going well for once (HA!), and I've just made it more complicated. Imagine the Twilight Zone shoehorned into Tale From the Crypt with a healthy dose of Ed Wood. It's fun to try to wirte the score for a television show with only two people and an ancient keyboard.

Once again, I had the best four days ever. I got to ring in the new decade with the voice of Duke Nukem (and yes, he had a good sense of humor about Big the Cat). I got to jam with some amazing musicians, and saw Sid Meier (creator of Firaxis Games and the Civilization series) jam before my eyes to Rocket Man, Pinball Wizard, and more. I got to stand with my podcast cohosts in bathrobes in the hotel lobby while we bribed someone to scream "I'M A LITTLE GIRL, LISTEN TO OVERCLOCKED AFTER DARK" at the top of their lungs. And...there's just way too much to describe. MAJOR HAPPY THOUGHTS!

My obsession with FFIV has caused me to fall in love with a "certain track" on Redemption/Betrayal on OCR... I walk down the halls humming Clacabrina music (among other songs).

We have the entire two hours-ish on both video AND audio for the most-part. It may take a while to upload, but trust me, you'll get to see it. I assure you.
AND WOO CALCOBRENA!
AND WOO MAGFEST! Got to ring in the new year with Duke Nukem confirming that we all indeed have "Balls of Steel".
