Sign- I really REALLY wish I had the tech to help out. I sing okay, but... I don't have a microphone.

Though. Epic idea, man. Gotta ask about the way you're divvying up vocals, though--you planning on paying any attention to singing ranges and whatnot for "parts"? -brick'd for nerd- Anyhow, if I can find a way past how nasal sinuses make me sound, I'm willin' to help out.

Now, are we gonna have certain people singing lead, or is it gonna be a group thing? Sorry, I'm a singer and I like to know these things early so I can practice and not sound like an idiot when the time comes. ^ ^;

First of all, it's about time I drag my sorry dreaming butt back! The site's a beautiful WIP, and it's great to know the boards are hoppin'.
Now this project! THIS PROJECT!! I just heard Twin Seeds Flyby and I'm HOOKED! I would absolutely LOOOOVE to be a part of this! I've only skimmed the thread but here's what I want to offer:
Singing - what fan wouldn't want to be a part of this? :3 I've toyed with the ideya myself before! Now I haven't sung on a professional level before - mostly in school and church choirs - but I can hold a tune in whatever key necessary, given the practice!
Artwork - here's my deviantart for examples. And I've always wanted to do something else for the signature pic at the end of my video... perhaps that's something?
Thank you so much for putting this project together, and thanks to TRiPPY and DiGi for sending out the email! XD

I've asked all the remixers currently assigned to the project who's willing to take up parts of the verses, the chorus, and claps. The verses are duet-divided and assigned to remixers on the project (a chance for those who've done work on other songs for the project to let their voices sing), and they will also be part of the chorus. The BIG group of remixers and forum-people (that's y'all) will be doing the chorus, and more-than-likely claps. I'm still writing the arrangement, but it is nearing completion. I like to take care of things early, like checking on interest before actually arranging the definitive parts, so it could all change.
I feel like I'm leaving incomplete answers but once I have adequate time to sit down this evening I'll do better!

This project sounds totally epic. I definitely want to be apart of it.
I can sing somewhat well (I'm really good at hitting high notes) and I play a bit of the violin if that counts for anything. XD
Lemme know if I can be of service to you in any way!

Ten: Aye, 'tis fine if you tolerate mine, along with my constant overwhelming chipperness.
Humour is humour is humour. It's always good times. 8D
Well, here's the current gameplan:

Your answers seem about as complete as they can be for the moment, at least? XD And I think that at least answers the questions for those of us curious about what we're doing, anyway.

Oooh I would love to help! Thing is, i can't really clap and sing since I have to hold my microphone in my hand. ^.^' Maybe I can just, like, make two separate files, one clapping and one singing?
yeah, that's essentially how it's gonna have to be done anyways for process and mastering purposes regardless. Claps on the same recording as vocals would be a nightmare!
Oh wow, it just dawned on me how many people are gonna need to be given special thanks...i gotta talk to my co-director! Lol

Well I'm by no means a professional, but I know that I can hit the notes (100% expert on RockBand tells me that X3). Er, here, here is a sample, and then you can say if it sounds okay or if I should not waste your time. XD It's not Dreams Dreams, but it gives an idea of the kind of voice I have (like a little girl, I think...)

As much as i'd like to help, I can't sing high notes at all, and my voice is really low and it'd probably ruin anything there. I can't wait to see how it comes out with everyone else helping though! I wish I could sing for this, seems like an awesome project you got going here.
If you know how, you can always sing like a harmony, in tenor or bass?

Here is one of the tracks I recorded. I feel this one is the best one. Let me know what you guys think!
I'm not a professional critic or anything, but it sounds just a little forced, like you are putting too much strain on your voice. Of course, over music, it might not be noticable, and in with everyone else singing it will probably just blend right in. ^-^ But you're not tone deaf by any means so that's always a good thing I work with a lady who couldn't find a note in a bucket.

....bloooooody hell. I leave the topic for five minutes and everybody runs in XD
See, Stevo. This here is our fanbase. They will sit around outside for a bit but the second we tell people something is happening they rush in like a stampede! XD
Really, the amount of people showing interest in this is amazing! Before, when this topic was overlooked i was worried we wouldn't get enough people on board. Now we have more than enough, and most probably a lot of work and a fantastic headache waiting for Stevo when he gets around to building this song, lol!
Thank you to everybody coming in and showing interest. As it's been said before, await further instructions before we get down to it. Stevo is a busy dude and we wanna make his job as easiest as possible because this will take a lot of patience to make. So for the sake of this song project we do what he says when he needs to do it.
Other than that, damn i love this fanbase sometimes. You all just turn up like the back-up squad we radioed in for a few minutes ago! XD

Also, some of my other voice acting friends might be up for this. Check out: Voice Acting Club and make a thread. Bet you'll get lots of auditions for it there too.

Maybe there is someone out there who could show you the notes you need to sing...? We had a trio at church that included an alto, bass, and soprano, and I think the hymnals had the notes they had to sing in it. Maybe Level99 can even help you with it once he's got it written, or something. >_>'Uhm, I guess I could try that? I dunno anything about that stuff though o-o. *useless*

Also, for one random bit of advice on the same note, make the Ju-On/Grudge sound--the creepy backofthethroat noise Kayako makes. That, surprisingly enough if not forced, helps.

Hm. If I can get some time, I'll try to record a little (slight warning, I'll be...kinda whispering if I get around to it ^^;). I knew this thread was around, but it's been...a bit of a ruckus/busy around here. Didn't want to post unless I had something definite to say.
And Level 99, congratulations and thank you. You've even managed to pull back people who haven't been here in quite a while it seems with this OCRemix.
Edit: Blarg. Whispering = quietly singing....
I have a deep voice, but to get the high notes...is a bit difficult. -_-
Edit 2: *giggle snort* I can't keep a straight tone or face while singing the chorus in a deep voice. XD Higher tones are no problem but the moment I actually sound like a guy I snort and giggle before I break out into laughter.
This is going to take a while. XD

He and I still need to do a duet at some point. I need to harass him about this, now... And get back to work on the ones TK and I have set up ahead of us. -brick'd!- TK is also amazing, even if she refuses to accept it. 8|
Also, Matthew29w12:
What's your vocal range, do you know? Because you can shift into your comfort range if you're careful with it and not break key.

.... i don't think I've ever heard TK sing before : O I know what Phage sounds like, obviously, since he done the OxyGEN song with Mr Digums.
TK's a mezzo like I am, I think, and she has a nice-sized range. Fffff her tone quality is amazing when she's all warmed up and all. =w=

But I know someone on Youtube that's good at guitar, so you might want to contact him for the bg music. His songs are a bit vulgar, but trust me, he's good at guitar(at least metal).

I'll say one thing to those of us willing to put our voices into this: DIAPHRAGM! XD diaphragmdiaphragmdiaphragm. You will yawn like crazy while getting used to it, but I promise you'll like what you hear better if you're as anal about your sound as I am. XD
Also, for one random bit of advice on the same note, make the Ju-On/Grudge sound--the creepy backofthethroat noise Kayako makes. That, surprisingly enough if not forced, helps.

Yes, I know I am super duper quiet. ._. If I try to force my voice louder, though, I just get bad and hurt my throat. I really really wish chorus hadn't been cancelled back in high school. I might have been better off now. That and my terrible sinus problems of doom.

Also, I have sinuses from doom, too. So does my best friend who still manages to be epic lyrical soprano opera singer from wtsland. -envyenvy-You can learn to sing around them and still sound good--when I get the secret from her, I'll let you in on it. XD

Maybe it was forced a little, but I was just trying to give some of the strongest vocals that I have for this. I'm not a professional singer or anything. I've never had any training or anything of the sort. I just one day started paying attention a little to how other people usually sing, and then tried doing it myself. I was fairly pleased with the results. I don't think I'm anywhere near being the greatest singer to ever live, but from what I've heard from other people, I guess I'm not the worst either.
