Saki is in the game, and has Cable style cannons. Cool

Pro tip, you can Baroque twice in one combo if you use a Mega Crush during the combo.

The graphics are really nice
Yatterman is awesome
Morrigan is awesome
Ryu is awesome
Viewtiful Joe is awesome
I way how the game plays really remind me of a doujin fighter, sort of like a watered down Guilty Gear or something.
Everyone has an air dash (except for giants), everyone can cancel dashes into attacks or crouches.
Everyone has a basic/universal combo in the form of A, B ,C
Assists are fun to play around with, epically with Viewtiful Joe, since you can cancel your own super moves with it.
Baroque is fun to play around with. When you use it, it will instantly get rid of any lag on your moves, allowing you to continue your combo, at the cost of all of your red life. The amount of the damage the Baroque combo does depends on the amount of red life used.
Mega Crash is pretty cool, it's basically a C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER, since you can use it when ever someone is pressuring you with block strings. But more importantly, you can Mega Crash out of any super, that isn't a level 3.
Anyone who can GeckoOS their Wii should import this game along with a Wii Hori Stick.

Still, this is great news. I'm pretty sure Zero-Shift will be quite happy to hear about this

-edit-
Oh wait! You mean this game is for the Wii???? NOW i'm happy! I'm getting it if it comes over here to the UK. I'm so tired of the Wii having hardly any good games.
Also, the fact that Capcom were able to iron out all the copyright issues regarding the use of Tatsunoko's characters means they're quite good at handling other peoples property. I'm hoping Marvel see's this and let's them make MvC3. I can but dream.

Too bad we still aren't getting NAMCOxCAPCOM though...

Gentlemen, I have one hell of a summer ahead of me. What a great way to start my first week of freedom. Bionic Commando on Tuesday with several good fighters on the horizon.

Still wish Soul Taker was in the game though

Edit: Thanks for the merge, much obliged. That'll keep things tidy.

The one (1) character ("Hakushon Daimao") that was causing the legal problems has been removed, 5 new ones added

Soul Taker!!!
I'll keep screaming that until it happens.

It was fun, but my opponent had already beat everyone in line before me. I had picked Morrigan + Joe and get Hadoken special after Hadoken special threw at me (all of which i jumped over) but still lost to Ryu and Chun-Li in the end.

I did however take note that Joe's specials don't work unless his hit connects.

Oh, friggin awesome. So I've heard/read a little bit about the game's controls, how do they work? Similar to MvC2?
Here's a primer of the game's basics.

The Baroque system intrigues me.

Baroque opens a lot of fun combos to use, opens up some neat stuff. Extends combos, can be used for an instant overhead attack if used while doing a dragon punch type attack.
I also want to say this; this game is not balanced. There are plenty of infinites in this game. Karas has a dead easy infinite off of any normal he has. This guy does a lot of extra fancy stuff to set it up, but you can get the general idea here. Chun-Li is also get an infinite using her lighting legs then dashing up using standing A's, then lighting legs again. Ken the Eagle has an infinite that I'm not sure of, and he can run away the entire game and it will be almost impossible to catch him.
The control system is pretty easy to get used to if you've ever played a Capcom game that uses it's chain system, like Marvel or Vampire Savior. All you really have to remember is that A chains to B and B chains to C. Then you need to get used to doing standing into crouching attacks, which should be just as simple. Then just get used to doing normal attacks into special attacks, then into supers.
Still bugs me that Capcom decided to make this into a Doujin fighter.
I'd also recommend buying the Hori Wii Fighting Stick if you get this game, unless you have another arcade stick a converter to Gamecube, which will save about 30 USA dollars or else this game will be a lot less enjoyable.

I keep hearing rumors...A full roster would be nice if anyone has it.

Hey Viper, since I don't know how to use a soldering iron I can only do rudimentary stick modification, but I know my stick layouts. My I'm just thinking very practically, but I'd worry less about making the ideal stick for one game. I'd do something similar to what's on the HRAP and just do two rows of four buttons in a slight arc to match your fingers. With pretty much all console fighters having button config you can set up layout for damn near any game you get. Sure it may not be arcade authentic, but if you're like me and don't give a damn about that kind of thing and dabble in virtually all fighters out there, it's the most practical solution. Do what works for you though.
I don't know where you're purchasing your parts, but I can highly recommend Lizard Lick. Also, for tech help, checking the Tech section on the SRK Forums never hurt. Especially checkout this thread.
First and foremost though, be sure to do all your research before you start buying the materials. Have a plan, don't just wing it.

Lizard Lick is where I got my stuff, plus I've checked out all that stuff, plus slagcoin. I'm way ahead of you, but thanks in any caseSome fans are clamoring for Speed, but nothing regarding new characters has been confirmed other than there will be five new additions, but we already knew that.

I decided to go without L2 and R2 though, so right now I'm setting up for only 6 buttons on the face, not eight. But that is a good point for Tatsu, if I did set up the eight I could dedicate one row for the game. Of course, even with six I could still set up the attack buttons in one row and use one button of the other row for partner.
I just hate that I got the wrong board, as it were, coulda made things easier for myself.

Tekkaman Blade

One of my two favorite Tatsunoko characters just made the cut. I swear if they put Soul Taker in I'm liable to do something insane out of pure joy.
Tekkaman Blade and Soul Taker. My dream team. Make it happen Capcom! Pretty please?

I'll be getting this then, lol. I wonder who Capcom are going to bring in next? o.o
#71

Tatsunoko
Joe Asakura (Gatchaman)
Yatterman #2
Capcom
Zero (Megaman)
Frank West
So no Soul Taker, but I still have to say that this is a damn fine looking roster on the whole and I adore these new additions. Frank West, holy crap Frank West. This game is made of win.
So, the new dream team is Tekkaman Blade and Zero.

SEGA vs. Capcom
Naruto vs. Street Fighter
Gulity Gear vs. Street Fighter
One could have a field day coming up with ideas for Capcoms next vs. game.

Anyway, on to Frank. Considering Jill Valentine was playable in MvC2 I wouldn't be surprised if he was made a similar way. Besides, Frank had some pretty sick moves in Dead Rising.

Still, i'm down for a SEGA vs Capcom. No, it's not needed and it's a completely unlikely match-up but when you really sit down and think about SEGA's catalogue of characters and then throw them against Capcoms you could have a really interesting fun brawler on your hands.
