I really don't know if this is revalent for a topic, but...........
Earlier this week I was browseing around my old elementary school liberary and came across something VERY VERY special:
Nintendo Power Magazine: July '07, Cover story: NiGHTS, Journey of dreams.
The very EXACT packet of paper that had first thrust me into the francise that would change my life forever.
So I was wondering: does the Thing that Introduced you to NiGHTS still exist? like that copy of the game you borrowed from a friend, or the store you bought it from, or even a magazine articule?

the thing that introduced me was sonic adventure back when it first came out. oh, how i would play that pinball game for ages but my SA1 disc doesn't read anymore, even though it has no scratches. so no, the thing that introduced me to NIGHTS has died!

The first time I heard of NiGHTS was on TV. There was a TV channel about video games, but since it was new at the time, there weren't many programs, so most of the time they showed video game clips (music videos). And one of these videos was about NiD.
Now the channel still exists but I think they no longer broadcast the clips. So I would say no, it no longer exists.

I realize now that the first time I saw NiGHTS was in Sonic Adventure 2, but the first time I was really introduced to the series was when I looked JoD up on Nintendo.com. I just checked. The page is still there.

The Toys R Us store I bought NiD from is still there (though it's been remodeled since then), I got my PS3 from there

the thing that induced me to NiGHTS was Sonic adventure (the DC version, not the GC one), too bad, neither the game or the console exist anymore (r.i.p Dreamcast)
but I still have my Sonic Adventure game for the gamecube, so I guess it didn't 'quite' died

I don't even know. I first played Christmas NiGHTS at an old friend's house. A few years later they said they sold their Saturn. I dunno what happened to the game or the system.

Sonic Adventure still exsists! However, I heard a theory that what you're not looking at doesn't exsist, and since I can't see me Dreamcast, who knows...

I'm pretty sure I first learned of NiGHTS from a TV ad. I could watch it on YouTube but it's not really the same?
I remember first playing a demo of it in an electronics store and thinking it was the coolest and craziest thing ever. (That store is now closed and if they were still around they surely wouldn't have a playable Saturn display sitting around.)

I think I learned about NiGHTS from an old EGM magazine. I was just a kid back then, around 10. I highly doubt I still have the magazine. Got the game for my birthday so I sort of don't know what store it was bought at. I still own the Archie NiGHTS comics, though. They're still in fantastic shape.

I cant remember what introduced me to NiGHTS, probably an old freind from school who kept on telling me how good NiD was, so I ended up getting it just so I could see for myself, but alas I havent seen him in years

Well, not the actual original disc of sonic adventure, no that has been split in half, but I do still have a copy of the dreamcast game, but then again, I only really thought of NiGHTS as some character that doesn't have a game in the real world, but exsists in the world of sonic adventure, So I didn't think it was real until JoD, Go figure .

I was introduced to NiGHTS through Sonic Riders. I still have the game and I still play it. :3
But my boyfriend is the one who really got me into NiGHTS. He bought me JoD for Christmas(08) after I kept bothering him for it. I didn't play it until February, when he reminded me of it. I've become an even bigger fan since. And yes, my boyfriend still exists. :3

I actually just found a copy and bought it at my local Gamestop.
I love that store immensely, I sure hope it stays there a long time!
