Make sure the discs are clean, also I've had problems where I didn't load the disc in the right way, like I made a 'double movement', and that totally messes up the Wii. Make sure you load discs in one smooth move.

I've read 4 books in the last week. My nutcracker sitting there on my shelf brings back memories. I was obsessed with nutcrackers for a time because of The Nutcracker story (when I was around 9). So my family got me a nutcracker, and we tried cracking nuts an almond in it. Turns out the nutcracker was only for decoration, it couldn't really crack nuts, so Mom accidentally cracked its handle trying. It had to be superglued back on, and I've never tried cracking nuts with it again.

Really wonder what the name of the song they were playing on Scratch'n'Sniff on the radio was earlier.. it was nicely remixed and one of those few that I hear that stand out more than the average song.

I'm really excited. Okay, when I was about 6 or 7, my family went over to someone else's house for one o' Dad's business parties. All the kids there went down to the basement where this one kid had a big bulky black console playing a Sonic game. We took turns playing the same stage over and over again. In spite of the kid gamer's attitude ("Here, you can't do it, let me." "Man, you suck."), I loved my few moments playing it and told myself that one day I'd get a Sonic game. I couldn't remember the name of the game or the console, though. All I remembered was a few parts of the stage--running down the side of a skyscraper, the pit I fell down, the giant truck that chased you at the end--and a few lines from the music.

But yesterday I finally found out what that game was: Sonic Adventure 2. And now a lot of things make sense. It explains why "Dreamcast" sounded familiar. Also it explains why when I first saw JoD and this site, NiGHTS looked familiar to me, especially his NiD design: there were a ton of NiGHTS posters all over that city stage! And now it's also occurred to me that that was the first video game I ever played O.o (Pac-Man and virtual pinball don't really count).

I so gotta get that game!!

Yeah, it's ridiculous to compare it with the Black Plague because not that many people die from it. Well, except in Mexico, but that's probably more due to poor medicine and health care.
