Ever walk into a game store and find something you never thought you would?
I'm bringing this up because last week I was just browsing the used Xbox games at GameStop and found a rare copy of Capcom vs. Marvel 2. It was hella pricey but I'm happy I found it.
Another time I was surprised to see a PS2 version of Silent Hill Origins (I assumed it would stay on the PSP, which is something I don't have). Needless to say, I was happy.
What have you found?

Aquaria...
Good Gods just Aquaria! This game is so deep and beautiful, with wonderful environments and addictive music, just everything feels sooo right about this game. And it even has a Mod Template so you can make own maps and everything.

You guys really have to check it out! I found it a lot better than all the games the big game companys developed the last 2-3 years.

Actually, that was how I found NiGHTS. Mum took us shopping to the mall a few days after Christmas 07, and I dove in the direction of Gamestop. Saw SEGA's label imprinted on NiGHTS, and right there I just bought it.

GITAROOMAN!
I found out about this game from my uncle. It's a rhythm game, but one of the best I've played! It's awesome! Go look up some videos of it on YouTube.

I'm not sure if it's rare or anything but I found Capcom v.s. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium at gamestop last December. I had never seen that game for sale before that day.
I bought Space Channel 5 for the PS2 for about $3 at the same gamestop last year as well. I didn't even know they put Space Channel on the PS2. It was a good find.
Once again at the same gamestop I found Ikaruga. I still need to buy that though. I remember people used to say it was rare but there it was. It was the Gamecube version though so I'm not sure if that was the rare version or not.

Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube. I just bought it without knowing much about it and it ended up being one of my all time favorite games on the Gamecube.

In maybe 2006 I managed to find Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete for Playstation in a Gamestop for around $30. It was missing the soundtrack disc (which I later found on eBay) but had everything else. Since I had loved the Lunar games on Sega CD, I considered this an excellent find.
I recently found Silpheed: The Lost Planet for PS2 in an FYE for $4. Since I love Working Designs (who also released Lunar), and I didn't own it, I was pleased.
When the Dreamcast died, I bought a ton of games for ridiculously cheap. The best was Space Channel 5 for ~$3. The cheapest was Virtua Tennis for ~1.
I'm kind of doing this now with Xbox/Gamecube games, an FYE near me has them all 50% off. I've managed to snag a whole bunch of good titles for less than $10 each. Including King of Fighters 2002/2003, Evil Dead: Regeneration, Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within, Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2, and other such things?

I one day saw an English version of KH Re: Chain of Memories. Let's just say that it took 15 doctors to slap me awake.
I ALSO saw Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for 30 bucks. LEAST EXPENSIVE PS3 GAME EVER! I would pay 100 bucks to play this, but they sold it at 30.

I've found blood rayne 1 and 2 as well as the first full metal alchemist game. The one game I did buy was crazy taxi for 10 bucks. This game is one of best arcade games ever that sega has released. When I got this I could not put it down

I went into Gamestop looking for FFX, and you know what? THEY actually had a used copy~! Made me a very happy person, it did.
And it was only, hm, $12 or so? Pretty good deal if you ask me. ^^

I saw NiGHTS into Dreams with everything in great condition for a fairly low price for such a holy grail of awsomeness (I forget what...it was like ninety or something. Not cheap, but it was in GREAT condition). This is when I learned never to go shopping with your mum- I wanted the box/manual/another 3-D controller/etc., but my obbsession is too frivolous, apparently.

IMO $90+ for a game should never be considered "a fairly low price".

True, but I've seen NiD complete in mint condition forr 200+, so 90 is cheap in comparison.IMO $90+ for a game should never be considered "a fairly low price".

Dang, that's more than Radiant Silvergun or Panzer Dragoon Saga typically go for!

I found Sonic 1 (for 2 bucks) and Sonic and Knuckels (5 bucks) at Bookmens and I intend on geting Sonic 2 for the same price as Sonic 1 also I bought Sonic 06' for $15 (used) in which I find pretty enjoyable for some odd reason. And come to find out the Genisis I bought didnt work (that figures) so i took it apart and now the board hangs on my wall.

Yeah NiGHTS was one of those experiences back in 96, my dad had gotten it for me for x-mass along with Clockwork Knight and my first Saturn.
Other games include:
Crystal Chronicles (fell in LOVE with the series)
MDK 2 ( It was the only DC game left on the shelf for a buck) The clerk was like "Haha oh wow you found the tiny sega section...or what remains of it" I replied "I shall always find the Sega section of ANY store"
Guardian Heroes (Win is all I can say)
Mischief Makers was fun
and probably tons more I just don't want to name/can't think of lol.
