Well it looks like the 3rd game to the Diamond and Pearl series is gonna be Platinum.....even though Opal makes more sense. The artwork for Giratina's Origin form is awesome ^^, plus i wanna see an extra adventure to Johto added!

Oooo, and i hope the Elite 4 is more challenging this time around >>

Eh, I've never really been one for the third games. Yellow was an interesting novelty for allowing all three starter Pokemon to be obtained in the one game while having you and your rival start with different Pokemon and vaguely following the anime. Other than that I've never really felt there's enough new and/or different content in them to justify another purchase following the 300+ hours I've already put into the main game.

They're nice for the latecomers, though, I suppose.

I ain't caring like I would if it was still the GB and GBA era. Pokemon games are just too repetitive for my taste. It's like the Madden of RPGs.

To anyone that says that Pokemanz is repetitive, then they should play online, and the game does have a lot of depth.

Might be because the parents your using have low IV's in HP, and passing down the low IV's.

Don't forget to reset for a good nature and have it cloned. Thats what I did with the TRU Manaphy.

I use them for news only.
There forum and Pokemon of the week are out-classed by Smogon and TLF.
I Pokesav my good teams because I don't wanna bother to breed for a Poke with good IV's in everything I want.

I personally like Veekun the best. Serebii's sometimes feels a bit harder to get all the info. Marillands isn't as good, but it's faster to see the info.

Apperantly it may be possible to get Regirock, Steel and Ice from Platinum... which is great, except that I already have 2 of them... XD

Also, Gamestops in America are giving away Deoxys's this month.

I already have a Deoxys, but I had to use AR to get to his island in emerald to catch him. Same with my Mew.
Now I'm probably going to have to get an AR for the DS so I can catch these D/P event pokemon.
Unless Platnum makes them avalible somehow.
Still, there's two alt forms down, now we just wait to see if Regigigas gets a more useful form.

You mean Sky Forme Shaymin?, it's been confirmed as it's second form, not Ice as most of us thought ^^;

I guess I wouldn't mind this in order to get another Dusk Stone and a Roost....but that would be about it. (God if thats all I want then maybe I should just get Action reply or something.) But I have never cared much for the 3rd installment games unless I am late to the series. (I have Emerald because I never got Ruby or Sapphire. Makes sense.)

As for the origin of Giratina.....woo? I guess I would want to know why this creature looks like a bunch of random parts that got shoved in a blender but thats about it.

I'll get it, saying to myself that it'll give me extra stuff to work with, more legendaries to trade over the GTS, and alternate forms for the ones in my Diamond. And then I will beat the first few gym leaders, get bored of playing the same game over again, and then forget about it like my Emerald. The different forms sound cool (except for Shaymin's new grass/flying type. 4x ice weakness=bad news) but I wonder if it's worth playing an entire game for.

Neat, in Platinum you'll be able to freely switch between Shaymin's formes using a key item.
Land forme Choice Spec'd Seed flare is nothing to mess with, and it can support pretty well.

God dammit... why can't they come to Ireland? I may actually make the trip to England just to get this guy in my game... Anyone going to head down and grab a Darkrai to call their own?

I never thought of Darkrai to be that great. Sorry, that and I missed my chance when it was out here in America I think. Driving all the way down somewhere is far too much effort for some of these Pokemon unless you are trying to complete your Pokedex or something.

Good luck to you Sairus. Its one of the few you need till you finish yours right?

I dunno why everyone likes it, either. It looks creepy. Although, YamiLover, you could've just gone to the nearest GameStop. XD They have periodic giveaways of these legendaries in participating game stores. I got a Deoxys this way, too. I think the information is on GameStop's official website (if I remember what my brother said correctly), but I'm not completely sure. I'll ask him again to be sure.

Anyway, about Poke'mon. Seeing that Nintendo is now trying to bring a more adult-friendly audience to their games, I think that the next batch of Poke'mon games will be affiliated with Life, Death, and After Life. Quite Frankly, it would make sense, as they have already done "Sea, Land, and Sky" and "Time, Space, and Dimensions" Think about that for a moment.

Ah. I stand corrected. I got Darkrai from a small Toys R Us event. It was kinda disappointing because we didn't get the ticket to Newmoon Island. I prefer doing the fun in-game events and catching the pokemon myself.

Bannipper: Hm...Life, Death, and Afterlife. A couple years ago, I'd say it would be too touchy a subject for them to mess with, but now they've gone and given the games their own religious mythology, complete with a creation story, a god, escort to the afterlife, and everything. So you're probably right. I personally preferred it when they left it alone religious-wise.
