Also, I don't know if it was ever mentioned on these forums, but the Nights into Dreams reddit mentioned another song that was very similar to one from NiGHTS into Dreams, the main theme Dreams, Dreams - listen to Perspective by YMO, it's up on Youtube. Specifically go to the 1:20 mark and you will immediately hear it.

Wow, I can definitely hear the similarities! It took a second listen to really hear it, but there's a section of Soft Museum that this really does sound like.
