I was going to buy this, but honestly, from what I've heard, it's a big let down. Hataya seems to have finally "missed" after his supreme streak with Sonic CD, NiGHTS... into dreams, Burning Rangers and Space Channel 5. Hell, even his work on Sonic Heroes was catchier than the music featured in NiGHTS - Journey of Dreams.

Fans make stupid and dumb decisions all the time, with little to no consequences. If creators make a stupid and dumb decision, it usually results in consequences (either a loss of money and/or job). So, yes, creators have absolute control, just because they have to reign in their stupidity to do a competent job.

No, NiGHTS is a fictional character, and to be honest, I don't dream of them often. I certainly don't believe NiGHTS "exists in the dreamscape" or whatever.
