How did you come to that translation? I've never seen the は particle at the start of a sentence in Japanese.
I feel like a simpler way would just be "NiGHTS jaa arimasen." Which basically means "NiGHTS is not."

But we found out that Reala isn't actually saying "there is no NiGHTS" so I guess it doesn't matter.

God, how long has it been since I last visited this post? I almost can't believe all the crazy stuff I used to think up for this series. Most of you guys have forgotten about this topic anyways, and just looking at this is a huge blast from the past. Needless to say, this series has...well, as far as being posted on this site goes....failed. I'm still writing the comics, but with my mind on other things, I haven't really given it as much love as I used to.

Since this topic is so old, I think it's time to close it. But worry not, this isn't the end of the series. Instead of a comic, it's starting out small as a story of FictionPress.net. I post stories and chapters on there every so often under the title of InTheNightlight. Some have developed MUCH more than the little kid stuff I used to make, in fact the David The Hedge-Boy series is pretty much NOTHING like it used to be. The characters you've posted here will still be used, however if you have any complaints, or you don't want me to put the characters in it anymore, just post it here, saying so(or, if this topic gets closed, being so old, send me a PM). The comic, however, will not be posted on this site. Instead, it will be posted on deviantART under the artist name NazoTheFox.

If you want, you can have a look at the rest of my stories or pictures. I'm in the middle of writing Chapter 3 of DtH-B as we speak, so that should be done soon. The comic...I'm not sure if I'll EVER get to post it on dA. In fact, I was just about to remake everything, it's all gonna under-go a HUGE make-over. In Japanese, it is はナイツがあります(Wa naitsu ga arimasu) which translates to, oddly enough, There are Knights.

The odds for a new NiGHTS are, like Eivana said, about 50/50.

Most of the hardcore NiD fans are in this whole love-hate idea about JoD, some leaning more towards love, while others lean towards hate. The newer generations are the same. Those who played JoD and loved it, probably went back to see what the original was like, and in doing so, loved that as well. In fact, those who hated JoD might've tried out the original and loved it.

IMO, JoD was not a terrible game in itself, it just...just developed the whole idea of NiGHTS in a way that was far different from the original. NiD is considered by many fans to be the best NiGHTS game that SEGA's done(unfortunately, that doesn't say much, since NiGHTS has only had 2 games as it is :/), while JoD has been reduced to the "5$ or less" pile in your local GameStop. However, JoD had many good qualities, more than enough to rival the bad.

For a Wii game of it's time, the graphics were overall decent to above-decent, with a few minor graphical issues. Also, the gameplay...well, as the kids, I'd have to say it was kinda 'blech', while the flying gameplay was pretty successful(with a few minor problems that can be easily overlooked). The storyline, IMHO, was the one thing that really brought out something they should do for each NiGHTS game.

In the original NiD, the goal/moral/whatever you choose to call it, was overcoming your fears, and believing in yourself. In Jod, it delves further into more emotional type of issues, such as trusting others, fighting for what you believe in, etc.

However, although the storyline was good, it lacked many qualities that prevented this game from being the superior to NiD. There were many perks, cliche/ corny scenes, and of course Taylor's Dad Reala's Bat-tights Owl the many plotholes.

So, in short, the odds are equal, if not, more leaning to in favor of a new NiGHTS game...
