I have noticed that as well. Also I've noticed that NiGHTS only has three rings around his hat instead of four like in the last game but I think I said that already lol

Yeah, I noticed that too right away when we were presented with the arts.. they're also pretty sharply defined now, before they were fainter and more 'organic', if that makes sense

And, I'll get it off my chest, but there's something about the CG arts from 1996, the way NiGHTS's face looks, that still just has more appeal to me than the way his face has been modeled now. I think you guys probably know what I mean. The way his eyes and mouth have been oh-so-slightly reshaped; he looked cuter in '96, IMO.

I think NiGHTS old look made him more mysterious which I liked alot, but the new look is ok too! ^_^

I wish the JoD merchandise I dreamt about last night would exist. .___. Sure, the vaguely NiGHTS-themed Barbie set (kentaur Ken wtf?) was maybe a bit off, but the tiny horns you could buy for $3 or get free if you bought something else were really cool. Not to mention the dual-colored POLOSHIRT that was just made of awesome~ Light purple/pink lower half, chest and arms in a darker purple, nice fit, thick quality fabric and an EMBROIDERED JOD LOGO.

My dreams are sadistic. Or is that masochistic...?

I have the Japanese Sega Direct version(the one with the figure, keychain, and folder) on preorder from Play-Asia. It was $95.00 but I had to have that figure and keychain! I figured it would be a lot easier to get them this way then to have to fight for them on Ebay. If I luck out and Play Asia gets the game in early than I could be playng JoD by this Friday...

Answer is "yes", buy it. Partly for the reason of what TRAV stated and also partly for the reason that it motivates you to buy a Wii quicker, lol.

I once bought Final Fantasy 7 for the Playstation before i even owned the console. Needless to say, it sort of kicked my ass into gear and i went out and bought a PlayStation the following week XD

That's what I did and I don't see a problem with it. And yeah shopping for a Wii is terrible because all of the stupid people that buy the system and sell it online for a much higher price. Then you got those moms that give it to their kid for Christmas and they get angry because they wanted the "hardcore" Xbox 360 but instead they are stuck with a "kiddy system." It sucks too when the casuals buy it while us true hardcore players really want it.

I am not sure if I said this before, but my thought is:

I keep wondering if this game will make me cry with joy or happiness. So far I am hopeing the gameplay makes up for some of the character design and storyline I know of so far. It just...I just don't care for it as much as I do NiGHTS into Dreams.

Its just going to be a real bummer that we wait all this time and some of us get dissapointed. Oh well. I will probably be spending most of my time in the My dream area anyway...

At least my low hopes makes waiting for this game that much easier.

I have it pre-ordered. :> I bring in ten bucks to EB Games at the mall, and JoD is MINE! Sadly, my mom won't be able to take me to go pick it up until Friday or Saturday. TT____TT

I think what I might do is go over to Toys R Us on Monday or something and try asking when they'll get JoD in stock. Hopefully they'll give me a concrete answer, and I'll figure out what I'll do based on that information. The main thing is buying a Wii from them. I'll likely bust all my coupons just on the Wii.
