...For some reason, my mind keeps locking on to a fighting game of some kind and i don't know why. Either that or the voice of some kind of kids show on BBC1 or something o_O
hello everyone, just joined here
~ me too DiGi! - especially when NiGHTS says "shall we have some fun?" could it be Sarah's voice from Virtua Fighter 2 on the Saturn? hmmm....could be... (wish I knew the actresses name or even had a voice clip from the game)

For some reason, hearing that from you creeps me out. Don't know why...
I guess I never did mention it before but I think Will's voice is ok. (Then again I probably wouldn't have cared either way.)
hahaa XD You obviously don't know me very well then.
Already beat you to it.You ain't the only one. X3
You know, you're right. Sarah says something similar but i think her voice is a bit more stronger and deeper than this one we've got voicing NiGHTS. I was thinking it was Sarah too but now i'm not too sure.~ me too DiGi! - especially when NiGHTS says "shall we have some fun?" could it be Sarah's voice from Virtua Fighter 2 on the Saturn? hmmm....could be... I seem to be stuck on a voice that is used by the BBC for childrens TV. It honestly sounds like that.

This is really going to bug us isn't it?
Imma agreeing with DiGi. BBC Children's show. Don't know which one, especially because I no GET BBC D8!
But, it does sound very familiar... definitely from a kid's show... it's that kinda voice...
Hermione from Harry Potter? XDD;; Jk. Doesn't sound like her >_>...

Luckily I'm not big into TV and hardly ever watch the BBC, so I can't relate. I am free of this burden. (The voice takes a little getting used to but I'm fine with it. As long as it's not Ashley from Resident Evil 4 or some other dumb American blonde, I'm good).
Anyway, quick update. We're heading off to SEGA here in a minute. One of the companies here gave us a GameCube controller for FREE. Wow. So awesome!! Anyway, we're going to see if Daniel will let us (or himself) try that in multiplayer, too, so we can see how it works. I'll send an update later. We have a good 4 hours or so until our next meeting anyway, so there should be time. Until then!

I think the voice is quite androgynous.... it sounds like a pre-pubity boy, but could also sound like a deeper voiced girl, I quite like it ^^

I thought it sounded androgynous as well. There was some parts that sounded like a boy, some that sounded like a girl. It's in the middle, if you ask me x3.
Yea. I'm glad NiGHTS doesn't sound like Rouge >_>. And, for that matter, I'm glad NiGHTS doesn't have giant boobs and NiGHTS's chest doesn't bounce whenever she flies (LET'S HOPE IT DOESN'T O_O).

You may be right but i had a feeling sega would hire actors/actresses familiar or have done voicing for them before...and sarah's voice was all i could think of...You know, you're right. my mate actually thinks NiGHTS would have different voices (like mentioned by a fellow forumer) regarding the androgynous nature of NiGHTS and joked that the first part "come on then!" sounded too much like burney the dinosar

Oh... and anyone else wish the Maren would speak jibberish language + subtitles rather than an actual language? You know like "Simlish"? lol
But I'm loving the accent too. I wonder what his Japanese voice will sound like? The music sounds promising and as catchy as ever. I'm officially stoked!

here's a thought, has anyone heard a real androgynous person speak?
Didn't think so.
*hug* Damnit, I love you.
Besides, I'm positive no one here would like to hear MICHEAL JACKSON as NiGHTS. YES. He's a perfect example of an androgynous human, according to wikipedia. So is the band Queen. And even those two are not entirely androgynous like NiGHTS.

Well....I can't stand it. Hasn't been 5 min though. I was hoping for it to be a little less female like but oh well. I am confused though, I didn't know they picked the English voice actor already. I thought they only had the Japanese one. So this is he voice we will hear on the American games? If so I am hopeing I can change it to Japanese voice but that doesn't seem likly. I guess the reason I don't like the voice is simply I don't like British accent all that much. I'm sorry....but it bothers me for some reason. I mean really bothers me. Its one of the reasons I have trouble watching the Harry Potter movies too. Digi and TRiPPY accent doesn't bother me too much though. Not sure why...I guess it depends on just how much of the accent you use. I don't know. I miss the old NiGHTS voice...
Oooh! Accent prejudice! *Chases you with a poker*

Sure have. Try Charles Martinet playing Homunculus in Shadow of Destiny/Shadow of Memories.

Is Charles Martinet lacking sexual organs and any distinguishing features of either gender?

For some reason, I /love/ that idea! I vote jibberish + subs. At least for Jackle. Oh wait, I forgot..Jackle probably won't be in JoD! DX *sobs* I really hope he is. ;-;

I thought the voice was good enough, but I wish it had a more "echoey" or spirit like quality to it, like the kind of voice a ghost in a film or something would have. It would certainly sound more dreamlike then.
Still, can't wait for this game, I'm buying a Wii just for this! I really hope they don't screw it up...

The same voice in Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate
as Sir Integra Fairbrook/Wingates Hellsing voiced by Victoria Harwood.
Victoria Harwood born in UK.
She was a british.
