Hm, not terribly impressed with the voice. I always thought a cooler, more subdued, and less feminine tone would suit him/her/it better. As others have stated though, it could be so much worse. As for the music, I can't make it out in great detail, but I like what I hear. Not too far off from what we're used to.

You know, you're right. Sarah says something similar but i think her voice is a bit more stronger and deeper than this one we've got voicing NiGHTS. I was thinking it was Sarah too but now i'm not too sure.

I seem to be stuck on a voice that is used by the BBC for childrens TV. It honestly sounds like that.

But, it does sound very familiar... definitely from a kid's show... it's that kinda voice...

Luckily I'm not big into TV and hardly ever watch the BBC, so I can't relate. I am free of this burden. (The voice takes a little getting used to but I'm fine with it. As long as it's not Ashley from Resident Evil 4 or some other dumb American blonde, I'm good).

Anyway, quick update. We're heading off to SEGA here in a minute. One of the companies here gave us a GameCube controller for FREE. Wow. So awesome!! Anyway, we're going to see if Daniel will let us (or himself) try that in multiplayer, too, so we can see how it works. I'll send an update later. We have a good 4 hours or so until our next meeting anyway, so there should be time. Until then!

You may be right but i had a feeling sega would hire actors/actresses familiar or have done voicing for them before...and sarah's voice was all i could think of...

my mate actually thinks NiGHTS would have different voices (like mentioned by a fellow forumer) regarding the androgynous nature of NiGHTS and joked that the first part "come on then!" sounded too much like burney the dinosar

I think its a great voice. Definitely not some atrocious thing that it could have ended up being haha. Like everyone else, I had a different idea in mind all these years. A more childlike voice... definitely more androgynous, but I'm sure I'll get used to this one.

Oh... and anyone else wish the Maren would speak jibberish language + subtitles rather than an actual language? You know like "Simlish"? lol

But I'm loving the accent too. I wonder what his Japanese voice will sound like? The music sounds promising and as catchy as ever. I'm officially stoked!

Besides, I'm positive no one here would like to hear MICHEAL JACKSON as NiGHTS. YES. He's a perfect example of an androgynous human, according to wikipedia. So is the band Queen. And even those two are not entirely androgynous like NiGHTS.

Hmm I find that the voice acting is done well but I don't know if it was the right choice for NiGHTS, It seems to take away some of the mystery of the NiGHTS character.

I come back from a 2 week holiday with bug bites and sun burn and recovering from sickness...and this is the best news i've heard so far T-T Sadly, i can't find the voice clip except for a crappy thing on youtube...I am so pathetic... But i am happy!

Hi guys, I'm just new here, but have loved NiGHTS for years!

I thought the voice was good enough, but I wish it had a more "echoey" or spirit like quality to it, like the kind of voice a ghost in a film or something would have. It would certainly sound more dreamlike then.

Still, can't wait for this game, I'm buying a Wii just for this! I really hope they don't screw it up...

The music is beautiful, But NiGHTS voice made me go into shock. I didn't expect him to sound like that, But I guess it will take some getting use to! ^_^
