Has anyone visited a Nightopia?

In the first dream I experienced there, I had been thinking about what a NiGHTS game would look like on the Xbox 360/PS3, High Definition and absolutely huge, and I found myself as NiGHTS flying around this huge tree, flying in and out of branches and twigs before flying down and dipping my hand in the water. It was absolutely amazing to experience, and one of my favorite dreams I've ever had.
The second dream I experienced there was far more interesting, as I noticed there was a lot more life around, in particular I noticed a swarm of fireflies. Unable to contain my curiosity, I flew towards them, suddenly one of the fireflies darted away, and I chased it. It seemed to be trying to flee from me at every possible opportunity. Eventually I cornered it, and got a good look at it, I noticed that it was in fact a Nightmaren with a firefly's glowing rear end, it looked at me with panic in it's eyes, apparently it was afraid of me. I tried to interrogate it, but then I woke up, this got me thinking whether Nightopia is really as fictional as we believe. I know it is, and there's no such thing, but if we're lucky and believe hard enough, we can all go to our own Nightopias.
So, anyone else been to such interesting places in their dreams? =3

Other than that I've only ever kinda been in a Soft Museum type of place where when I went inside the museum (I was a bit lucid I think) I imagined it looking like a real and actual art museum inside with long spiriling red carpeted stairs and it was still all bouncy and cool.
But sadly, I haven't had too many Nightopia type of dreams (since most of my dreams are kinda video game based or just plain weird). I do however believe that the concept of "Nightopia" must be somewhat real, any place of calm and complete dreamy surrealness in any dream can be identified as such depending on your definition of it. It could be that we do each have one but our Nightopia's change constantly each night we all go to sleep (kinda like the "My Dream" place only more drastically) then again that would only be if you can gain access to it, like by some invisible dream gate. If not you would just have some recycled thoughts and stuff be your "dream" for that night.
....But I think I'm kind of over thinking it

Interesting topic and those dreams sound amazing! I don't recall seeing NiGHTS directly, but your Moonlit Tree dream reminds of one of my own. I remember there was snow on the ground (not a lot but a nice layer) and I was standing by this large dead looking tree. I climbed the tree and sat at the very top and could see the moon, full and white in the dark black-blue night sky. It was beautiful

Heheh that's really cool! I don't have many Nightopia style dreams either, but those ones were particularly vivid. It does sound like a beautiful dream you had ^.^ I can imagine it heehee.
As far as that dream sounds, it sounds like it may have also been inspired by the Maze of Memories =3 *I know you know that place, since you like Klonoa 2* the idea of an art museum definitely sounds familiar. I don't think your idea is farfetched at all, I mean we'll never know exactly what dreams are, but I like to think of them as a gateway to another world, filled with all sorts of wonders! Still, I often have dream anxiety, the fear that I might have nightmares, preventing me from sleeping ^^;

Just be thankful you aren't having dreams about using Facebook and video game forums. Seriously, those types of dreams are unbearably boring.I wish. I hate it that all my dreams are so realistic, I would rather leave realism for the real world and the surealism for the dream world.

Yeah, a bit Klonoa like I suppose (Maze of Memories just happens to be my fav Klonoa 2 level ) though the museum I was in was a bit more realistic, plain with white walls. And I know what you mean about fears of having nightmares, I usually just try to pray those away now but I used to have a dream catcher.

I've had dreams about signing up with video game forums, I found them more odd than boring though, after I wake up that is. I have to agree with iVYRAVE though, I usually don't like my more realistic dreams either, I much more like the just video game related ones

I used to have a Dream Catcher, but never really believed in their use, haven't a clue what happened to it, it was so long ago. Praying your dreams away? Hmm...I usually listen to stories or comedy shows when I go to bed, helps me take my mind off the fact that I'm about to experience something totally random and unexpected, trouble is that usually leads to me forgetting what happens in my dreams.

I think I've only had one experience like that. I was among these low hills of little colorful ball...candy....things. And there were colorful birch trees all around. The sky seemed eternally in a sunset/sunrise. It was pretty much Candyland LOL All the sudden NiGHTS popped up in front of me and made a " >8I " expression, like I was some sort of fascinating and yet disturbing insect XD NiGHTS has also appeared once or twice in just a jet-blackness. Never flown with him, though.
That sounds pretty crazy, I'm guessing that dream inspired the picture in your icon XD it made me laugh. I've never actually met NiGHTS in a dream, and the only Nightmaren I've ever met in a dream was Nightfly (which I later decided to call the enigmatic firefly Nightmaren in my dream) and in another a character from another series which I later decided to turn into a Nightmaren, Julie the Zora. Still it sounds like you have some pretty wild dreams, and that's a cool idea for a Nightopia!

XD Glad you like it! That's really cool that you've seen your Maren in your dreams. Mine have never appeared in my dreams, and yet CONSTANTLY show up in my little sister's Nightopia....TO BADMOUTH ME XD All my dreams are incredibly bizarre. I can never manage to have a decently NORMAL sounding dream XD It's a pretty cool Nightopia. Wish I could manage to get there again~ And yours must be breathtaking! It sounds so beautiful!
