It is a bit unfortunate that yet another NiGHTS fan project is being left unfinished

It won't be left unfinished; it'll just be rushed.

Well, unfinished in the sense that Viper and Charlie might not get everything complete by then. But, yeah, rushed is a more correct term for it.

Great work as always, Viper. How long does it take you to do something like this?

Thanks DiGi, I made the latter half of those over the past couple of hours, so that could provide some sort of benchmark, I suppose.

Thanks a lot! I've added the animation to the game, it's great!
Do you want a new video?

That's nice, but I already have an Ideya Capture sprite, and even though it's a bit small, I don't really want to ditch it since it wasn't made by me.

I guess then it'd be a matter of getting permission from whomever made the current one.. it's cool but too small.

It was made by Razer112...

However, even if he agrees, there are a few problems with your sprite...
With the way you make the sprites, it looks great but I can't change the color palette. I don't know if you were planning to draw all four Ideya Captures, or if you drew the white parts on a separate layer that you could tint, but I would also need the green, blue and yellow ones...
Moreover, the transparency isn't right. The bubble is supposed to be uniformly partially transparent with a non-uniform color (dark color with spots of bright color). Your sprite uses an uniform color and non-uniform transparency (mostly opaque with transparent spots). So it would look weird.
(it's also missing the gray transparent bubble below, though that doesn't really bother me.)

I'm thinking that, if the Ideya Capture's size really bothers you, it would be easier to just stretch the current sprite in-game, even if that would make it blurry.

Yay! I just sent in my final levels to Kentilan. Glad I was able to finish them in time. :)

Can't wait for everyone to see the game. It was a lot of fun to be a part of and I just want to thank Kentilan for making it! :)

Well, I think it's done now.

In the end I just left the Ideya Capture as it was, it doesn't really matter if it's too small...
The game should support controllers, but not in the menu.

I hope everything works fine. Many thanks to everyone who've helped or supported the project.

Well then...
I wish it would have ended differently, but, it's just not a place for me.

I see, sorry 'bout that. No problem.

This game is epic. The only problem I have, the Sound lags a bit for me, This also happened to me on the Early Beta and Reala's Nightmare. It's probably the Evil work of WINDOWS VISTA!!! *hunts down Bill Gates*
I honestly am in love with this game.

A fantastic game. Love the level designs and sprites. The music adds the right charm, NiGHTS' movement is appreciated (it gives the game life), and the effort to get an A rank really pushes you unlike JoD (too easy with most levels there imo).

Now even when I'm not near a Wii I can get my NiGHTS fix (I do the same for a Reala fix with Reala's Nightmare). Congratulations everyone on a job well done. ^^ I love this!

Thanks for linking to some videos, Charlie. The game does look really well made so hats off to everybody who were involved in making it. The old style of play was something i missed from JoD.
