21 days remaining! I just got notified that the physicals will be at my house this week! I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I get them (pending my house doesn't look like a disaster area :P).

So there are lots of things coming up with this, but the most immediate thing is that I will be going on Radio Free Gamer to talk about the album next Wednesday, June 22nd. It goes from 7-9PM EST, and you can tune in online. There is definitely a surprise or two in store for people who tune in. There's a live chat going on as well during the show, I believe.

For anyone here who donated to get physical copies, I'll be mailing them out shortly after I get them. IF FOR SOME REASON YOU HAPPEN TO GET A COPY AND THE ALBUM HASN'T BEEN RELEASED YET, feel free to talk about it but I kindly ask you not to upload the tracks to your own sites, youtube, or whatever until after it has been officially released. Thanks!

Hoh sh!t, I didn't realise that this was a hard case CD and not a Jewel Case. That's so sexy.

I got a surprise package today and lo and behold it was this beauty. I haven't even taken it out of the plastic yet. I mean, the case's artwork was worth the money itself. I can only imagine how epic it's gonna sound.

EDIT: OMFG!! TRYEZZ!!!

THE FIRST HAS BEEN RECEIVED! Awesome! Enjoy man.

Also, the second batch shipped. Unfortunately, they told me that until further notice, I can't ship to Canada (I shipped some yesterday and those should go through fine, but as of today the Canadian Post is on strike :-/)

Still ridiculously excited about having received mine in the mail today. Beauty of it was .. I was hardly expecting to receive anything at all today (aside from the stray bill or advertisement).

The artwork on the case, the discs, and the book are just beyond words. Amazing job on the whole production.

I got my copy (Attn: "Professor Wolfman" even) today! I haven't listened to it yet, but the physical packaging/booklet with all the art is really great. I'm so glad I have this as part of my collection of NiGHTS stuff. :(

Indeed, my copy showed up today as well. This really is everything it's been hyped up to be, and more. When this comes out, blast it through the best set of speakers or headphones you own. If you use earbuds you're not listening to it. You're hearing it.

Bloody phenomenal through and through. Nostalgia gives way to pure audible enjoyment quickly. Some of the best music I've heard in a while, and certainly OCR's best compilation yet. The previews really don't do this justice.

This may very well rock your ears off on July 5th. Better get a quote for reattachment.

I had honestly expected the mail service to take a LOT longer to get you your copies. I wanted people to get them around the time of release, but I guess some early exposure can't hurt. Sorry to everyone who's just watching and waiting, I know its probably killin' ya. But if it is any indication, their reactions should keep your taste buds wet for it!

REMEMBER I'm going on that interview tomorrow! Info on the site's frontpage.

Hey, quick question. Is there going to be a dedicated mini site for the release (like the Pokemon Missingo Tracks one)? I'm not sure if this is like a standard thing with OC ReMix or something some contributors do?

Yup, that's a standard thing. The site is actually pretty much complete. My fiance and I were working on the site all last week, and minus some last things like mirror-linking and youtube integration, it is ready to roll. All albums get their own site because of links, artist bios, etc. For this one, we also had art to consider! The site will launch when the project releases.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them! Total labor of love. NiGHTS is totally my bueno... I got the game on launch day when I was a wee lad haha :(

I'll have to agree that, all bias aside, Lucid Dreaming is probably the greatest OC ReMix arrangement album yet. I told Stevo as much a while back. I'm stoked to even be a part of it! :D

Still speechless at this comment. No words. Couldn't have done it without everyone else involved, though.

Robbie, your copy is in the next batch of packages. I didn't get your address before I ran out of shipping envelopes. Hopefully, it should get there by next week! Things have been super-hectic here with everything going on. I'm very much looking forward to some R&R after this is all done! (Yeah, like I'll ever stop doing stuff, lol)

Lol, i didn't know Levs had sent out so many physical copies already! XD But i'm especially glad to see you're all enjoying the music. It's been one hell of a two-year marathon, this has.

I've said it countless times to Stevo in emails during production but i'll say it here now, i'm so proud of this project. Fan projects usually rely on a lot of mental power and motivation to keep pushing forward but Stevo really did kick backsides for this one. I'm still surprised to hold the actual CD in my hand and read the thank-you page. I remember when this began two years. It was all a dream (pun-intended, somewhat) and now it's literally become a reality.

Oh, as for the inclusion of Tryezz. Haha! I knew some of you might spot that name. Yeah, you know when this project was announced i wanted to jump straight on to a Jackle remix! That's kinda like my calling, man!! XD I knew Tryezz through his Sonic's Poppin' Groove album (as Zero mentioned previously) and from there i've been following the guys music ever since. With Jackle being the funky brother that he is i knew Tryezz needed to be the one to remix this tune but i just wasn't sure if i should ask him or not. In the end i did and he agreed to do it. I gave him a rough outline of what was needed and i pretty much let him go free on it. I was bloody amazed at what he brought back for me to hear! XD

Lol, wait until you see the trailer we got for this thing! Ooooh baby~

One word: SHINY! It's so pretty! Y'all will see it soon.

Also, I've pretty much shipped out the rest of the copies that are being sent to donators and album contributors, barring a few straglers and people in Canada. It really is a shame that the current stalemate in the negotiations in the talks between the Post and the Unions is happening right now, but the moment that shipping can resume, you better believe I'll be on it!

Has anyone tried shipping in Canada via DHL amidst these strikes?

That should be uploaded by Justin sometime in the next week or so. As soon as it gets posted, I'll definitely link you!

In project-related news, the Trailer was secretly premiered at Summer of Sonic to an unsuspecting crowd of Sega fans. Definitely heard some enthusiastic applause there! And today, the trailer is now publicly available. Check it out below!

Seconded. I literally want to cry out of joy for this. I rarely ever get this moved and those album pics and that trailer just ...YES. I have no other words that could possibly be correctly formed for the excitement this album is creating. XDDD Then there's TRiP's amazing experience at SoS. 8D

Mind = blown

I think I'll need a fanmaren to stand in for a while as my brain is fixed. @_@

Quick question - are the physical copies available to anyone or are they limited edition only? Is it going to be paid/free download of the whole thing for the rest of the people who want it?

Pretty sure the physical copies were a limited run.
And, the download of the album, once it goes live tomorrow, is totally free.

The album is, and will be, completely free from time that it will be available. The physical copies were a limited run that were done as a way of commemorating everything special about this project, and given to people who donated, took in large part of the project, or are lucky enough to get one otherwise. There's definitely still a few copies floating around, although unfortunately I'm no longer available to accept donations in exchange for one. OCR will have some to distribute at a few panels until they run out, I'll have a few to distribute in some special ways, and so on. All the stuff is going to be available online for free though, and there's materials included for people to make their own physical copies.

Hopefully within 24 hours, this will be out!
