Well, at least I'm certain that JoD will have truly amazing music. Same music guy as before, and the small dev time shouldn't be too much problem, because NiGHTS is a very simple game. I only hope they aren't goofing off, though that seems unlikely after seeing the visuals from the magazine scans.
On the note of the game's music. The origional had such wonderful music, but imagine how much more is possible on the Wii's hardware. Imagine the possibilities

Next time you rip a song from a CD, rip it first as your standard quality, then rip it again at the maximum level you can. It'll triple the size of the file and you'll only hear a very minimal rise in quality.

I know everyone knows there shouldn't be an off topic thread, but this is pretty old.. So I'm gonna use this oportunity to say that the passed couple of days, I have seen people making topics and -blatantly- making them off topic or asking for both on topic and off topic opinions, responses, or even art. Or taking topics way off the rails. Please, don't break the rules here. It says it all over the place, and you can't just say "I know, but we need one so its cool" and make it alright. It would result in you being warned, the topic closed, and/or deleted.
This topic isn't gonna get locked, and the other ones won't either, but if you keep doing this, I'm gonna have to start giving you the people's eyebrow. And I don't wanna start giving the people's eyebrow, guys... It hurts you. Most importantly it hurts my face. So, for the sake of the forum, and the sake of my face, please don't break the rules. Think of my face. Won't you please think of my face?

of corse we can. but this site needs a 'General Chat' forum. one where we can talk about not-NiGHTS 0_o
but anyway, Im a semi MS fanboy. I don't feel the need to be because MS is rich! XD Sega on the other hand needs all the support they can get. IMO.
Sony took the quality of games and threw it out the window. Then they think that putting Quantity in it's place will make up for it. DC had a Library of 200+ games. only about 15-20% of them were not worth buying. PS2 alone has around 1000-3000+ titles and 75-85% of which are not worth buying.
sony needs to understand that Less is More. whats the point of having 4,000,000,000 games on a console if 3,999,999,999 of them a HORRIBLE, WORTHLESS games. Nintendo is the only company doing something good, they are trying to bring FUN and innovasion back to the gaming industry. Sega was innovative. Sony is just monopolizing. And Microsoft has no clue wtf theyre doing.
thats just my oppinion. NiGHTS needs to be on a HUMBLE console. So I guess I am happy that they chose nintendo over sony. (personally I just want to see it on a sega system....and thats it. but you know ) I think the xbox 360 would be a really good choice. They are a humble company (well...the XBOX division of the company, anyway.) and it's far more superior in Environments, than the wii. and NiGHTS IS all about environments, am I right?
I applaud you. That's exactly how I feel about the quality of the gaming industry nowadays. Have you noticed that the best games were on the pre-Sony era systems? Sony's only accomplishment was to sell games at a very fast rate. Saturn and many systems before it focused on game quality and less about quantity. Thank God someone understands.

There are very few games that Sony really wows me with now adays. Ever since Crash Bandicoot was not made by Naughty Dog, I slowly started to have less of an interest in my PS2. The PSP isn't the best when it comes to games, either. Sure, it can play music, and I can watch Harry Potter 50 times with it, and I can go on the internet, but what about the games?
The only thing I've seen on the PSP really is puzzle games, and one or two ports of sports games and racing games. The PSP needs some more original action titles.
The last PSP game I bought was 'Sonic Rivals', which I just sold today actually. I rented MGS:PO (Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops), that's probably the most recent PSP game that really wowed me. And that's because Hideo Kojima and his staff are pretty damn clever, smart, genius ninjas.
Metal Gear Solid 4 and Destroy All Humans 3 are the only reasons why I want a PS3. And I can wait for both.
Nintendo cares about gamers, and doesn't sacrifice quality for quantity (a lot).
But, that doesn't mean all Sony games are sh!t. There's still a lot of games for PS3 I have a tad bit of curiosity in. Not a "GOTTA HAVE IT" interest, but still an interest none-of-the-less.
