Oh, yes. We have school off for the REST OF THE WEEK XD It's the most awesome-sauce winter ever. The school board for my county is very stingy in giving out our (13+ built-into-the-year) snow days, so this is truly amazing. The only negative point is that we may actually go over our allotted snow days this year, for the first time ever, so the end of the year may be pushed back. I really hope it doesn't come to that.

And people are worried about global warming...

Its a good thing My winter coat is red, because I had to walk in the street on my way home. I coulden't find the sidewalk. That and there was a full blown DRIFT in our driveway. The snow in the backyard has almost completly buried our above-ground bonfire pit ((It's more like a cage, but whatever)) So that estimates the snow is up past my knees. 0_o






Also, Is it unusual to feel nostaligic for things that were around before you were born?

Aww... we only had today off and tomorrow too. But with the extra foot or so of snow coming tomorrow, heck, we'll probably be off the rest of the week, too. The only thing is, I'm gonna HATE making all these days up.

But, it's pretty cool. I've never experienced snow up to my knees before.

For some reason the left side of my headphones had the wire just break off. Huh. Right one barely works. >_> Frick.

Also, my mind works too quickly for my own good... But considering the amount of karma going into everyday things nowadays from the stash I've accumulated...it's a strange mixture of "keeping your balance" but "losing your balance." ...Danged weird.

Also found out the answer to making something epic. First, find the area that needs something epic in a story. Then, head back and look at certain events prior to that. Random creature, random bosses, someone who was made upset by someone at the point of non-epicness, etc. Lastly, transition an element you've found to the epic-lessness and blow thing sky high. Some gets kidnapped, Uber battle with an old foe, returning villains, etc.

If all else fails, just put something in earlier alluding to the epic moment or make someone new appear or have an awesome speech or just make something up that's Epic but then make something up in the beginning for it.

... Too cold. Also love the idea of a bunch of Smashers having a peaceful sunset just to bring up the notion of Master Hand being evil and having the Smashers go beat the tar out of him... Fun.

Also- That'd be friggin' awesome if OCR pulled that off. I'm not sure how practical it is, though. I mean, honestly, I'd love to see it (and "Dreams of an Absolution" was by an OCR guy, if I recall correctly) just because you guys have such a nice and wide range of styles, but SEGA going for it...? I'm not sure how that would work, just because I dunno what goes through their heads. o:

Well, it'd be a first-time thing to be sure. OCR did the Soundtrack for SSF2THDR (super street fighter 2 turbo HD Remix), but that was all remixes. This would probably be originals. I think we got the skills though, and Capcom gave us a shot. Why wouldn't Sega? Considering the luck of the public with movements lately (*cough*NiGHTSasFlagbabe*cough*), why not try? At the very least, we get some exposure to us and Sonic 4.

My sketchbook's paper is fail. The pencil markings fade so easily. I shut it, then when I open it again the next day it's so blurred. @_@ Even while I'm drawing, my hand can smudge the lines. I'm not drawing too lightly, either. I keep having to redraw the lines over and over again. It makes life difficult.

I was playing some Radiant Silvergun for the first time in a while. I have to say that even though I absolutely suck at bullet hell games, they are SO MUCH FUN! I love it!

Someday I dream of being really good, getting all sorts of chain-combos on the hardest difficulty. I should work on shoot 'em ups after I've become good at fighters.

Why must the aspects of the fictional world have so many loose ends to tie up when it comes to hunger, not stinking up the group (B.O.), thirst, and calculating what the forecast will be? Then there's a weapon's endurance, a person's endurance, the calculation of a species' strength, calculating long-term damage on internal tissues, how much damage can actually be undone to said internal tissues, how that said undone damage happens, the constant subtle foreshadowing on everything (difficult to keep up with), and how to ultimately measure the strength...of a kid. Fighting for her life. One-on-one. To the death. Some say child abuse, I say a story focusing on scenarios that could happen to a kid in the timeline presented in a time where pirates/anyone who owned a ship had their golden age...just not so much as golden as it is silver and in a time period where pirates are the modern day hero in some aspects. ...Or just anyone in a ship who wants to help take down a certain madman.

Over a decade in the making and the world/story still isn't done. T_T Bah. I'll finish it one day when - for once - I can dedicate more time to it without mindless/mindful distractions.

And Zoroark looks awesome. Yay Evil-Fox-Pokémon! I really hope Soul Silver/Heart Gold is good. Fire Red/Leaf Green was great, but since the Gold/Silver/Crystal trilogy is a fan favorite it'll be a little harder to live up to. We can already see it has those God-awful Pearl/Diamond 3D graphics.
