"Pit of Creepy" Topic

If you're easily startled, then I'd suggest hitting the back button right now.
Anyways, I've always been obsessed with ghost stories since I was a wee lad. That in mind, an internet fad called Creepypasta really appealed to me. Someone got to work on turning the more commonly circulated creepypasta stories into videos.
Nightmares - this one has already hit the dream forums, under the misconception that it was true.
The Mirror - this one is just neat.
Then there's this. It's just plain silly.

I find the monkey from Samba Di Amigo to be the creepiest looking thing ever. I don't know why, but it really does creep me out something shockin'
(By the way, I'm being completely honest here!)

I would love to see this in real life.
So many people did copycat paintings afterwards though :/

Yeaaah, the worst part is that if you look around the artist's actual site, he did a sequel to the painting.
The little boy is a lot older in that one D:

I never experienced things that others did when I looked at it. But I can see why some people thought the doll was holding a gun.Do you guys remember the haunted Ebay painting? That actualy DID give me the creeps. Not the fact that the thing was supposed to be haunted but the painting itself looked horrible...

<.< >.> My girlfriend did have an entity in her house. Before you laugh and be all ':awesome: Sure', she had a lot of odd stuff happen. First it was just things falling off from secured places in her room, then it was locked doors slamming and shutting when no one was in the house, as well as an odd, deomnic voice whispering things to her, like "Do you like that?". Her kitty, as well, would just stare at the middle of her bedroom and act as if she was frightened, as well as the room being all gloomy whenever she entered. It ended up taking a whole lot of sage grass and a few blessed crucifix just to make it all stop.
Also, scary sh!t is scary:

Anyway, ThisIsNotPorn.com is pretty creepy, but I DUNNO WHY SINCE I NEVER FINISHED IT. I think I got up to the creepy tree with the face, or a couple pages after it. I wonder if anybody ended up making it to the end? I never looked into it and its been a few years.
btw, its some weird puzzle game. You figure out ways to answer their questions. The answer is the password to advance to the next page where the image or audio will be another clue to the next.
-edit- okay it seems to be dead now.. N/M. XD

You're a smart man Purgatory. And, thank God for disclaimers |D! Yeah, if it's a .gif, never trust.Yeah, I looked at the file and it said "GIF" and I was all like NUH UH, NO YOU DI'INT! *Scroll down* Yeah.. totally talk like that..
I searched up 'creepypasta', went on ED, brought up the .gif, left it up (not knowing it was animated), came back, and all of a sudden I see this HO SHI SCARYFUCK FACE, and my heart skips a beat and my hand flies up over it
literally a second later?:
"LETS POST THAT"
I never read it, btw ;_;. Say what you want, I'm never going back to read that. Also, anyone who goes on google (can't bring up the webpage since ED is banned), searches up 'creepypasta'. First link. READ. WHOLE PAGE.
And let's make it a game:
Easy Mode: 5AM; almost sunrise
Normal Mode: 3AM; still got another 3 - 6 hours
Hard Mode: Midnight
Nightmare Mode: Midnight; no lights; non-stop.

In early 2007, I went onto YouTube, and randomly found a music video of Daft Punk's 'Prime Time of Your Life'.
It wasn't even the song that freaked me out -- though, I'll admit, I found the song creepy, too. It was the video itself that did a number on me.
As weird as it may sound, it scared the hell out of me. And I've almost convinced myself that if I ever hear that song again, I'll go mad. I'm no longer afraid of skelletons, but that music video still gives me the creeps.
You guys probably won't have the same reaction, but you have to admit, it's pretty creepy.

Edit: OH GOD BOTFLIES. >_<;;
Words cannot describe the disgust those things fill me with. When I see them, I doubt I can eat the amount I want to vomit.

Half Life 2 (and fps's in general) have screwed up my perception of enviromental interactions to the point where I didn't notice anything weird about the doorknob operating itself. Common, Valve, Gordon Freeman has handshttp://youtube.com/watch?v=IdzU_dhfgAY
