Well, I was just sorta wondering how rare it is to have a US sleeve to Christmas NiGHTS. I just got it in the mail, after I spent 59.99 for the game and sleeve, as opposed to 49.99 for just the game. Did I mess up, or did I find a good deal?

I have the UK version in a sleeve, and an action replay to be able to play it....but what I didn't know is that I need a Sega brand cartridge to play A-Life...something I still never experienced. I can't find one either. ::sob::
Edit: I branched off from x-mass NiGHTS to NiD if anyone is confused XD

You didn't mess up. Considering how rare it is I'd say the price isn't bad for either deals. There are people willing to pay 200 dollars for just the discs of FF7 without the case.

WHAT?! Having lost my original copy of Christmas NiGHTS I picked another one up on ebay for £5! $49.99 seems awfully steep!

I dont have the sleeve for xmas nights - but I was considering buying a japanese version soley for the sleeve off ebay. I paid about £10 for my copy of the pal version though (without sleeve). $50 seems a lot but who cares - its awesome.

$50.00 is a bit much for the NTSC U/C version of the game. I picked mine up for $15.00 a few months ago on ebay. They seem to go for about $25.00-$40.00ish at peak. Although JOD may have caused a price spike.
Anyway- the NTSC-J version goes for about $3.00 - $10.00 normally.

Wll, 50.00 was the CHEAPEST I could find on there in time for christmas. Also, it has been the cheapest on there for a while. (With sleeve.) But hey, I think it's worth it! ^^

Totally worth it, if I saw a deal for that on eBay I would've totally bought it. With or without the sleeve, it still was a great price to pay.

I do not own Christmas NiGHTS but have been intending to for a while. I think I'll just buy the less expensive, more common Japanese version whenever I get around to it.

Well it seems the version in the states is really rare so you got yourself a fantastic deal. Just play it when you get it and all that money will have been worth it.
