"I'm fine! Don't worry!" Luna says, waving.
"Well, you're very lucky you don't have a nose." Dusty says, inspecting Luna's face. "Otherwise, it would have been broken. Your face will just be bruised over and tender for a while, but that's it." Dusty says, healing a few shallow cuts. "Just be a bit more careful."
"Can't you do anything about it?" Luna asks.
"I can, but it'll take a few minutes, and you know better than anyone how quickly Frosty can get away." Dusty says. "I think it'll be best just to let nature take it's course, rather than get lost and left behind."
Luna nods in agreement.


Frosty stares at Illusia as if she were insane. "All I did was call Dusty, and say that we're not waiting. Have you ever run into a tree? It's not a pleasant experience. Just wanted Dusty to make sure she was okay. Jeez. Go ahead and bite my head off, why don't you?"

Illusia looks back at him. "How was I suppose to know what you think? You seem to think that Luna and I are expendable. But it's nice to be proven wrong at least in a sense. Now let's find out what's up ahead." Illusia turns herself invisible and scouts ahead.

Frosty smirks inwardly, unbelieving that Illusia actually fell for his clearly out-of-character moment. But then, he remembers something that he'd heard multiple times in the stranger dreams he'd been in. 'If you can fake sincerity, you can do anything.'

"That isn't true." Nyclone tells Frosty, who had heard Frosty's thought. "Belive me, I've tried."

Frosty smirks. "I know that, but you can't deny it helps."
For a few moments, there was silence, then something like thunder could be heard behind them.
"Hm. Doesn't look like rain..." Frosty says, looking through the leaves and branches above him at the clear blue sky.
Suddenly a blue, ball-like projectile whizzes by Frosty's head.
"What the h*ll?!" Frosty yells, turning his head to watch the ball as it flies by. Suddenly, it bounces off the tree and down the the ground, uncurling into some strange humanoid/hedgehog creature with red glowing, almost possesed-looking eyes.
"Ambush!" Fig yells behind her. "They came up out of nowhere, I swear!"
"Where are they coming from, then?!" Frosty yells.
"From behind us, below the trees! They've already got us surrounded!" Fig says. "It's strange, but I swear I've seen those things before! They look like some sort of video game character!"
"Description!" Frosty says.
"Short, blue, fast, spikes on it's head! Probably capable of going super-sonic, which is why I didn't see them earlier!" Fig says.
"How many?" Frosty asks.
"Ninety-nine!" Fig says. "And it looks like there's going to be more coming up behind us! They're different, though. One is kitsune-like, with two tails. Ninety-nine of them as well. The other looks like these blue ones, except they're red, and their spikes look more like dreadlocks! And it looks like they've got pointy things on their fists, too! And-"
"Let me guess, ninety-nine of those, too?" Frosty asks. Fig nods.
"Okay, let's get down there and wipe these video-game rejects out!" Frosty says, suddenly diving below the trees.

"Why, oh why did it have to be them that's trying to kill us? Why couldn't it have been a different annoying video game character?" Nyclone asks himself before shooting a spray of Laughing Clowns at the game character look-alikes.

Illusia looks and uses a light beam (Note she's still invisible) to smack some of the look-alikes away and quickly moves before she gets discovered. "You don't seem to know me very well do you Frosty?" she thinks knowing that she had momentarily fell for Frosty's "sinserity" act but knew that it wasn't the time or place to give him a piece of her mind. "but...OH NO where's NiGHTS?!" Looks and sees some of the Sonic/Tails/Knuckles look-alikes and a very familuar caped Nightmaren (a.k.a. Jackle) slipping off with a bound and gagged NiGHTS. "@#$#@#%#@#$#!" Turns visible and begins pounding every enemy in sight with her powers even causing a few to crash into each other by using her illusion powers. "I knew that there had to be a reason for this! FROSTY! GUYS, JACKLE AND SOME OF THOSE VIDEO GAME REJECTS HAVE NiGHTS!" Flies over to Frosty so she doesn't have to shout. "Reala must have realised that NiGHTS knows the general location of the staff! This was just to distract us so they could get at her! He knew that you'd put me and some others that you thought weren't importaint to the front and we'd soon be so busy fighting and doging that they'd be able to sneak up and catch NiGHTS easily!" knocks another reject that was about to skewer Frosty. "We've got to stop them before they get to Reala! And Yes the "Green Girl Scout" can swear if she gets ticked off enough. (I think he called Illusia that once or could have done so in the past before the RPG starts.)

Nyclone was still spraying Laughing Clowns at the dark Sonics, Tails, and Knuckles, hoping to at least find a Samba De Amigo somewhere.

Frosty smirks.
"Well, Jackle's here then, huh? This just got a bit more interesting!"
"Shi-!" An Extra-Life Knuckles comes up behind Frosty, trying to strike him in the back, but Frosty backflips over him.
"Oh, too slow." Frosty says, smirking. Suddenly the Extra-Life spins around.
"Rah-!" The Extra-Life punches at Frosty again, but Frosty backs out of the way.
"GYYEEEEAAAH!" The Extra-Life jumps into the air, before slamming it's fist down onto the thick branch that supported them. Suddenly, the branch spontaneously combusts, fireballs beginning to fly out from the impact site.
"Whoa!" Frosty quickly jumps out of the way of the balls of flame, watching as everything nearby begins to catch fire.
"Cr*p! These things are gonna light up the whole forest!" Frosty says, sending a spray of ice at the flaming tree, mixing in a few shards to take out the Extra-Life. As the shard hits the Extra-Life, it suddenly disappears in a puff of smoke, leaving behind what appeared to be a playing-card.
Frosty looks at Illusia. "You stay here and help take care of these idiots! I want Jackle to myself!"
Frosty quickly speeds off, but not without getting noticed. Three sets of Extra-Lives noticed him, and quickly took off after him.

"Where's he going?!" Dusty yells, quickly resuming his barrier spell.
"It looks like he's gone after Jackle." Fig says, also protected by Dusty's barrier. "And he's got some taggers. Three Sets of these things. Should we be worried?"
As Dusty's barrier spell finally stabilizes, he begins playing another spell. Suddenly, flames shoot from his flute, and engulf any nearby Extra-Lives, quickly putting them up in a puff of smoke, leaving only cards behind.
"I don't think so." Dusty says. "If worse comes to worse, he's still got the replicates."

Nyclone just got bored and just zapped all of the Extra-Lifes that came his way.

Illusia shouts after Frosty while blasting the Extra-Lifes around her. "Save some of him for me...and if NiGHTS gets hurt in any way there will be heck to pay!" Turns to Dusty and the others while continuing to fight while also being worried about and anxious to rescue her sibling. "Any idea about how to get rid of the rest of these things? We've got to get after them especially if they're taking NiGHTS to Reala. Frosty won't be able to handle EVERYTHING that's probably going to be there...even if he thinks he can."

"Frosty will be fine on his own. And I think my dad can fend for himself." Nyclone told Illusia.

Frosty looks over his shoulder to see if there were any followers. Of course, there were, but they weren't what he was expecting.
"Sh*t." Frosty mutters, taking out his replicates. "This is gonna get annoying quick."
Frosty notices one of the red, and one of the yellow Extra-Lives beginning to crowd up behind a blue Extra-Life, which had curled up into a ball.
"What are they up to...?" Frosty mutters.
"Kya!" Suddenly, the three Extra-Lives rocket toward him, bearing down on him at an insane rate. Frosty's eyes widen, and he quickly throws down an ice road curving up into the sky, sending the Extra-Lives up, up, and farther ahead... And even farther ahead...
"Oh, sh*t..." Frosty mutters as the Extra-Lives land in front of him, blocking him off. Frosty activates the replicates, which turn into cat-like equals of the yellow and the red Extra-Lives, the Power-Formation equal having one insanely enlarged fist, while the Flight-Formation equal had Frosty's floating shards behind it, except these were for more than decoration.
"Take them down, now!" Frosty orders. The Power replicate speeds toward the Extra-Lives, swatting them aside as they try another Rocket Accel. The two attacks glance off eachother, sending them in opposite directions.
Frosty watches at the Power Replicate is send flying to the left white the Speed Formation Extra-Lives are sent flying to the right.
"Whoa..." Frosty says, watching as the Speed formation Extra-Lives begin focusing on the Power Replicate, pounding him with triple Homing-Attacks and surrounding him in a tornado.
"QUIT WATCHING AND HELP ME!!" The Power Replicate yells, deflecting a Homing-Attack.
"Oh, right!"

Illusia looks at Nyclone and takes out a Sonic Duplicate that was sneaking up behind him. "I wasn't talking about just him against Reala...thankfully Frosty has duplicating powers to help him out in some cases but that might not be enough. I have a feeling that we haven't seen everything that these 99 and decreasing rejects from a Sonic Game can do...and if I'm right we're in for a whole mess of trouble. They could end up delaying all of us long enough for Jackle to get away with NiGHTS and then where would we be?" Takes out another mess of duplicates that were trying to get through to Dusty and some of the others. "Besides these things are being royal pains in the butt!"

"As long as we know where he is, than we can continue. This is only a minor setback."

Frosty rushes up to help the Power Replicate, while the Flight Replicate's shards begin to emit strands of electricity, blocking off the other Extra-Lives from interfering.
The Power Formation Extra-Lives stop in front of the Flight Replicate, glaring.
"Go on, try it." The Flight Replicate says, the shards and strands of electricity moving in front of him. The strands that hit the ground began to etch a line in the dirt. "Make my day."
The red Extra-life smirks, holding out his arms. The Blue and Yellow Extra-lives beside him curl up into balls, and begin rotating at high speed, mysteriously drawn to the red one's fists. The replicate raises an eyebrow.
"I will enjoy..." The Red Extra-Life begins, before suddenly punching at the replicate through the wall of electricity. "POUNDING YOU INTO THE DIRT!"

While that was happening, the Flight Formation Extra-lives had managed to fly over the Flight Replicate, cutting Frosty off. "What the-?!"
The Yellow Extra-Life smirks down at Frosty. "You won't interfere with Lord Jackle and Lord Reala's Plans."
"Oh, you poor little card." Frosty says, quickly changing from feigning politeness to anger. "I'm going to enjoy punching your face in. It just reminds me so much of that idiotic smirk Jackle always has on his face!"
Frosty quickly throws five shards along the length of the Flight Formation Extra-lives, but the Blue Extra-Life suddenly begins spinning rapidly, electricity covering the entirety of it's body. Suddenly, the shards are drawn in and redirected at Frosty, who in turn redirects them at the ground.
"Okay... new plan..."

Nyclone was pretty much pounding his head on an imaginary table right now.

Frosty grimaces and begins backing away as the Flight Formation Extra-Lives begin to fire themselves at him, the balls of electricity sometimes grazing his body and causing his limbs to go numb.

Meanwhile, the Flight Replicate also had his hands full, firing orbs of pure electricity at the Power-Formation Extra-Lives.
"There's something different about these Extra-Lives!" The Flight Replicate yells over his shoulder as he dodges an Eruption.
"Naw, ya think?!" The Power Replicate says, deflecting another Rocket Accel.
"The Leaders of these Formations are on steroids or something, I swear!" Frosty says, using a dome of ice to protect himself from the Thunder Shots.
"I think it may be time to resort to the trump card!" The Flight Replicate says.
"Why would you think that?!" Frosty yells. "That'll leave us WAY too drained to take on Jackle!"
"It's that, or die by these rejects!" The Power Replicate says.
Frosty growls angrily, sending his protective dome flying at the flight formation Extra-Lives before quickly retreating into position for the blast. "Fine, but if Jackle ends up killing us, I blame you!"
The Replicates nod, also getting off a last shot before quickly retreating into position, forming a triangle around the Extra-lives.
The three throw up some walls and a roof to contain the Extra-Lives, and hopefully the blast itself as they charge up their energy.
The Extra-lives look around frantically. There were only three exits, and each one was blocked off by a cat with a giant ball of energy.
"ABSOLUTE ZERO: TRIAD BLAST!!"
Suddenly, the blasts of energy expand to fill the makeshift room, colliding with eachother and completely obliterating everything inside.
The Six of the Nine Extra-lives were instantly frozen and reverted to card form, the cards gently floating down inside the frozen husks, while the other three Extra-lives were simply frozen through and through. Every single atom of their being was frozen into place so quickly that it couldn't even revert to card form.
The three cats cut the blast short in an attempt to conserve energy, but it was too late. They were almost completely drained of energy.
The Replicates shatter, unable to keep their forms stable any longer, while Frosty falls to his knees, panting for breath.
"D*mn... No matter how many times I do that, it never gets any easier..."
Frosty looks off into the distance, picking himself up. "Gotta get NiGHTS... And beat Jackle's invisible skull in..." Frosty smirks at the idea.
'Nyclone. Get your robo-a** out here. I'm outta energy. And bring the others while you're at it, hear me?'

[Nyclone]

'Got it, you little sick sunnava-' I think it's best I leave the thought process alone after that. "HEY! Frosty wants us to follow him! Trust me!" And he flew off, ambrosia ready.

[Deraj]

Frosty pants, still worn out by the attack as Nyclone any the others get there.
"Dusty, you stay here and help me back on my feet. The rest of you, go beat Jackle's skull in until I get there." Frosty says, pointing off into the distance. "No time to argue. Go."

[Nyclone]

"Aye! C'mon! LETS GO!" Nyclone got that look in his eye, and was off to whip his father's @!&^%.

As the others go on ahead, Frosty, Dusty, Luna and Fig stay behind.
"Is he going to be okay?" Luna asks.
"I'm not dying!" Frosty says, annoyed by Luna's tone of voice.
"He just used up too much energy. He'll be fine in a few minutes." Dusty says. "Although from your nerve system, it looks like you've been tazed."
"Blame the Flight-Formation Extra-Lives for that one." Frosty says. "Still numb."
Dusty nods. "Anyway, it'll just take a moment for me to transfer a bit of my power over to you. You still won't be at full strength, but you'll be strong enough to fight, as long as you stay out of the worst of it."
Frosty nods. "I just hope Jackle doesn't kick their a**es..."

"Lord Jackle. We have followers." One of the Extra-Lives says.
Jackle laughs, unconcerned, as he turns around. "Well, then. Let's put our guests down, then. Shall we?"
Jackle holds his white-gloved hands out parallel to the ground, and raises them up. Suddenly, blank cards rise out of the ground.
'Blank Ace Emprisonment!'
Suddenly, the cards go flying into the distance, toward Nyclone and the rest.
"Let's see how they handle that...!"

[Nyclone]

Nyclone was flying at an extremely fast pace at the time. So fast, that everything that came into contact with him just burned up form the electricity. He eventually reached him, and said, "Do you really think that a little card trick is going to stop me?"

Jackle grins insanely, giggling like a madman.
"Very clever, but you didn't count on one thing!" Jackle says.
Nyclone raises an eyebrow. Jackle simply continues to giggle and grin as a small shadow begins to grow around him and the entire group. Everyone looks up, a second too late. They were captured by a single gigantic playing card, which swallows them up.

They landed in an alternate dimension. No roof, no floor, no walls, no anything. Everything was black, and silent. That is, until Jackle's insane giggling breaks the silence.
"Welcome to my Dimension of Absolution. Here, I pull the strings, as it were." Jackle says, his eyes and mouth the only things visible.

Frosty growls, getting up again as he sees the playing card fall from the sky. "We'd better hurry. Jackle's probably got some sick plan."
Dusty looks up. "I don't think we need to hurry."
"Why not?" Frosty asks, looking up himself. Another dimensional playing card. "Well, he saved us a bit of trouble. Let's go."
Frosty, Luna, Dusty and Fig jump up into the card, landing beside Nyclone and the others.
Well, 'landing' being a subjective term. More like floating on virtual ground beside them.
"Let's kick his skinny invisible a**." Frosty says, smirking.
"You're not strong enough for a real fight yet, Frosty!" Dusty says.
"Doesn't mean I can't get in a few good shots."

[Nyclone]

"No. This is an illusion, somewhat. You fire, it just goes on forever."

Illusia smiles at Nyclone. "Illusions are one of my specialties...unfortunately for Jackle. It seems as if he's forgotten about one of MY ablities. He may think he's pulling the strings here but I know how to get us out of this trap."

Jackle giggles insanely.
"Oh, really now? Do you think this is all just some cheap illusion?" Jackle asks cockily. Suddenly, Jackle rushes forward, landing a solid blow on Dusty's solar plexis.
Dusty falls to his knees in pain, caught off-guard by Jackle's sudden blow.
"Ah-!"
"Tell us, Fox. Was that real enough for you? Is all of this real? Or was that just some cheap imitation that hit you? Tell them, before you pass out." Jackle says, grinning. "This is no illusion. This is as real as you or I. And when you die, it will be your grave. Go ahead, look down. Down, into the abyss. Countless bodies are STILL falling, looking for ground. But there is none. And you will have the same fate!"
Frosty does a quickl high-kick, hoping to knock Jackle in the back of the head. The kick connects, but Jackle disappears, leaving his cape, hat, and gloves behind.
"What the-?!" Frosty mutters in surprise.
"Peekaboo!" Suddenly, Frosty feels a blow to his back, and stumbles forward.
"Wha-?!"

[Nyclone]

"Try and teleport out of this!" And Nyclone smacks the abyss, making an orb wave of electricity. He did it three times, and because the abyss was endless, it would just keep expanding.

[Deraj]

"Ah, question." Frosty says, watching the obs of electricity continue to expand. "I know that if those things swallow this whole realm up, you'll be safe, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US?!"
Frosty fires off a few shards, which quickly turn into spiked spheres that swallow up the electricity, channeling it through the spikes on the exterior. "Help me with this thing! I only control Ice, so I can't predict what it's gonna do when it begins-"
Suddenly, the exterior smikes begin shooting off electricity, slicing randomly at the void.
"... Doing that."

[Nyclone]

"It isn't supposed to do that! Crowd around!" And once everyone was around him, he enveloped them all in a bubble that couldn't get broken by electricity.

"They look like they need help, Reenie..."

"They're Nightmaren. They could burn in the Waking Underworld for all I care."

Frosty smirks. "Quick thinking. Not exactly what I thought you where going to do, but it's something. Now, keep this barrier up, because it's about to take a bunch of abuse." Frosty says. Suddenly, the bubble of ice around the electric sphere begins rotating rapidly, sending slashes of electricity into the void, and at Jackle, and especially at their own group. "Let's see, if I can position the spikes on that sphere, then I should be able to..." Slowly, the spikes on the bubble of ice reposition themselves, and the random slicings of electricity begin to focus onto a single, circular-saw-like plane. Frosty creates another ring of ice around the saw, so the electricity won't go on for infinity.
"Ohh yes!" Frosty says, grinning as he makes similar arrangements for the other two balls of electricity. "Nyclone, you brilliant idiot, you've just given this cat a new, deadly toy!"
Frosty sends the electric saws at Jackle, who quickly uses a card to teleport away, reappearing out of harm's way.
"Just keep the electricity from expanding too much, and we have a brand new ticket for nightmaren death!"

Ok, and Thank you?" He said.

While this was going on Illusia was drawing her power. Her hands glowing a soft pink as she looked towards Jackle her blue eyes glittering with determination and mischief. "I know that this isn't just a plain illusion Jackle." She spoke sassily at their tormentor. "But you forgot that you tried to catch me once when I was hiding in Nightmare with this same trick and I ended up discovering how to undo this...Rememeber? So I know how to shed some light on this problem." Lifting her glowing hands above her head Illusia shot her powers into the spot that no one had thought of shooting thier powers at, the dark area right above them where somehow her powers shot through the invisible black card that had brought them all there lighting it up before it shattered and returned them and Jackle back to where their chase had started. Slightly weakened but not allowing it to show on her face Illusia now glared at Jackle. "Now that that's done. Where's NiGHTS you oversized jack-in-the-box?"

Frosty watches as the dimension falls away, smirking. "Oh, good. Points of reference are back again." Frosty sends the electric saws at Jackle and his Extra-Lives, who reappeared as the 'Other Dimension' falls away.
However, the red Extra-Life jumps in the way, smashing the three saws as they approach, the electricity quickly nullifying as well.
Jackle smirks. "'Where is NiGHTS?' Well, that's a stupid question. You should be more worried about the 'What,' as in, 'What is going to happen to NiGHTS?'" Jackle says, grinning evilly. "And because you asked, you'll get the answers to both of these questions. As soon as you kill my special Extra-Lives."
Jackle grins evilly. Suddenly, all but three of the extra-lives vanish, turning back into cards, and swarming at a single point.
"The Extra-Lives I caught inside Absolute Zero!" Frosty says, watching as the cards gather at the spot, and three golden beams of light shoot into the sky.
"Oh, yes, and they'll be ecstatic to see you again!" Jackle says, laughing insanely as he flies up into the sky, presumably to to maintain a safe distance to watch the battle.

Illusia's Eyes narrow angrily as she clenched her fist. "O.K. Now I WANT a piece of him! You can do what you want to do to Jackle but I at least want a piece Frosty! We've got to find NiGHTS before something happens to her or that they force her to lead them to the staff. I've got a bad feeling that these Duplicate Dopes have a secret..a secret WE'RE not going to like if Jackle's to be believed." She growled through clenched teeth as she and the others prepared for the fight.

Frosty growls, taking out his replicates as three huge dustclouds approach the group.
"They don't have enough energy to stabilise themselves into Maren Form, but maybe they can leech some off of whatever's coming." Frosty throws his shards as hard as he can as the clouds get into range.
"What the? What is this? A little toy?" The Golden, Hedgehog-like Extra-life says as he comes to a stop, holding the replicates. Frosty smirks.
"Yes. A little toy." Frosty says, feeling the replicates grow in power with every passing second. "A little toy that happens to just love it when people have overflowing energy that just randomly discharges."
The Extra-Life's smirk disappears, taking a second look at the replicates. They did seem to be drawing in energy. The Extra-life pitches them behind himself, but not quite far enough.
"Today, you die!" The hedgehog says, pointing at the group.

Illusia sees what Frosty has done and mischeviously smiles at the Extra-Lives. "I think you're the ones who are going to die." whisperes to Frosty especially if those things do what they're suppose to do...they didn't throw them far enough away..and they don't know it...Yet. So now what?"

"Now... We turn up the energy vaccum," Frosty whispers. "-to 'Crazy-Homocidal-High.'" As Frosty says that, the energy that the replicates drew began to create a visible distortion in the Extra-Live's energy auras, creating two tornados of energy, which quickly begin growing to a noticable size.
"What the h*ll?!" The Echidna Extra-Life kicks the replicates away, breaking the bond, but a little too late. The replicates were Super-Saturated with energy, just like the Extra-lives.
"Ohh yes!" Frosty says, watching as one of the replicates enter the standard Maren form, while the other one quickly homes in on Frosty, 'blending' with him and giving him extra strength.
"This..." Frosty says, creating two giant shards that cover his hands and forearms. "Will be epic."
Frosty charges at the Hedgehog, slamming him aside and bringing him away from the battle area so he could take care of him himself. "Take out the other two!" Frosty says, blocking a punch.

Illusia aims her a light beam at one of the duplicates eliminating them. She looks tired but won't let it stop her in her quest to get her sister back and stop Reala. "That's one down...One to go!"

(Didn't they get some sort of medicine or food before this I can't remember...I know that Illusia kind of needs some sort of boost before she collapses...but she's stubborn as heck sometimes especially when NiGHTS is in danger.)
