Just figured I'd let you guys know that this boss is called "Bomamba".
<a href="ftp://segapr.segaamerica.com/SEGA_GAMES/N...AMBA_FOR%20IGN/" target="_blank">ftp://segapr.segaamerica.com/SEGA_GAMES/N...AMBA_FOR%20IGN/</a>
Whoah, thanks for that. I didn't know that site existed... hmm. *bookmarks*
*looks* Wow, there are some pretty amazing scenery paintings of a couple levels O_O I'd post them here but I don't know if that's completely OK... I guess they wouldn't put them there or have free, unpassworded access if they didn't intend them to be released, but I haven't seen them on other sites and I don't think I count as a "media outlet."
ummm... I really want you guys to see them though... what do you think? >_<"
Ah screw it. These are too pretty to not share... and I'm going to assume that by putting them on their public FTP where anyone could grab them, Sega released them. (don't sue me Sega ;____
These also came labeled; I'm assuming that they're the official names of the levels.
Stare~ Stare at the prettyful images~
Clock Tower Daytime
Lost Park
Aqua Garden
Crystal Castle
Windmill
These are sooooooooo pretty and detailed... I have SO much respect for whoever made these O_O The original PSDs are HUGE and so detailed... compared to me tooling around in photoshop, this person is a god *bows down*

Right here:

They're like 120MB each @_@ but so pretty. I'm going to use them as wallpapers (maybe we'll see them under the wallpaper section at the official site?)
I'm going to poke around there a bit more and see if there's anything else interesting...

Boss name 'Bomamba' WTF?
Clitch sounds better
Though the actual design of WitchCat is nice. I see it as the best boss so far (Reala and Wiseman don't count, they're beyond rating)
Level designs - squeeeee, I LOVE the level designs. That's what I wanted about the original game - LEVEL DESIGNS
*designs maniac*
Thankyouthankyouthankyou, you made my day ^___________^

For some reason, the Lost Park image looks pretty sad. It looks good, just very lonely. Maybe that's what they were going for. Thanks for sharing!

Studying this boss level, i'm wondering how you fight it. This boss area has many things going in it, what with the snake-cats, those weird purple ring-things that look like PSO teleporters, the fact that the arena itself is triangular. So far, we've had two bosses revealed. Don and Girania. Three, if you include the Chameleon but we don't know how his level looks yet. Don plays like the Puffy boss and Girania plays like the Gillwing boss. This one seems to be replacing the Clawz boss in terms of looks and level design but i think it will play similar to how you had to defeat Gulpo. I certainly think those snake-cats are there to help you hit the boss, since the boss never seems to leave from it's centre spot...kinda like how Gulpo stayed in the middle of the boss area in his stage and you had to use the little fish on the outside to dash inwards to hit him.
As for bosses. Well, we still have space for another 2 ...so it could be Cerberus and the Spider. Reala and Wizeman might just be single bosses without a stage before them, or maybe Reala appears at the end of the BellBridge level and Wizeman is just a boss without a stage.
Also, thank god they released the artwork this time around. NiGHTS looks so cute in those sketches :3
Looks to me like you tilt the table and make the cats heads go down the holes at the bottom.

Its awesome to see level art! I really do like this artist.
Once the credits release, someone check if the level artist/artist was the same guy as the one who did the level art for Kirby Airride: there's a ton of similarities, especially if you look at the concept stuff. (I adore his originality!)

All the sketches for the level arts are signed by an artist named Bamboo Nishino.
