So we've already got a Pokemon topic here, I figure some of us also play Animal Crossing. I enjoy getting visitors, even if there are weeds all over my town. So maybe we can get a discussion going here. So, post your furniture, funny stories, anything!

Ha ha.. Mr. Resetti, great character. I rented the GC version a few times, but I only have the DS version, with wi-fi.
My friendcode is 3866 3172 2289. Town's name is Arcadia and my character's name is Ark. Here's hoping we have others who play on Wi-Fi. ;D

I tend to post things on people's message bords like "Safety not guaranteed" crap. XD Or in my own town, I post nasty rumours about the animals who live in it. Or write them crazy letters, so when they move away, other people will have to read them.

One of my townsfolk, Rasher, recently moved away. Ah well, I hope someone new moves in soon! Still working on paying off my house. Someone made an EXTREMELY generous donation of 100,000 bells, so now I'm down to having about 179,000 to pay off. Better get fishing!

I have the biggest possible house you can have and its all paid off. My main room is also completely Japanese themed, from the Silk Oak Moth to the Deer Scare in the corner. XD The music, walls, and floor too. Its my favourite room in the house, because I put a lot of work into it. I have a creepy wooden-themed study upstairs, a "backyard" in the room to the left, the room straight across the main room is all mushroom furnature, and the room odd to the right is mostly blue themed. Has my Master Sword and Arwing in it. XD

I don't really let people move out unless I don't like them. And if I don't like them, I usually teach them a naughty catchphrase, greeting, give them bad and/or insane letters, and THEN I tell them goodbye when they pack up. XD

There's one thing I'm lacking, though, that I'm still actually trying to get.. I think its a stego torso? Or a tail? I have every fossil, but not this one. >.< And I've never seen it. Blarg.

I keep digging up a ton of Stego parts. I'll let you know the next time I have one.

I don't have much in my place. Nothing special at least. Sure I paid off my debt, have all the bones, and some paintings...but thats it.

I also tried to do the Japanese theme in my main room. The room I like the most is the one I tried to give a Jackle theme too. It has a lot of kiddie stuff, plus Jack-in-the-boxes, Scarecrow, toys, orange type wallpaper and floor, and a Jazz kind of music. I am trying to make the floor, but the colors on the pallete are so limited! Darn! Plus I suck at pixel art. My Reala and NiGHTS shirts are terrible. lol

I haven't been on in months though. I am scared to enter the game. I am going to have a million weeds, cocaroches, and someone wanting to move out. >.<

If someone wants to move out, just talk to them repeatedly and say "you can't go" until they rethink it. They'll be unpacked by the following day. I didn't play mine for six months at one point and I had a lot of weeds and my flowers were dead (and yeah, a couple roaches in the house) but there was no major damage. I -did- lose my special flowers though. My oranges, purples, and blues. >.< But nobody moved.

Yeah I realized that. No one will move out thank god. But I miss my purple and black flowers! WAHHH! Yeah I know I have to talk to the person...I just don't feel like going to every house trying to figure out who wants to move. I also need to fastforward my time because my Animal Crossing is about 3 months behind. But I am afraid people will leave if I do that. ARGH!

Also, where do you go to get your friend code for the game? I would read my booklet but I haven't finished unpacking my stuff and I can't find it right now. That and I am scared to go under the bed again. I did that today and found a Black Widow. Eeeeek! At least it didn't bite me.

There should be a town gate. Looks like a cave. Go in there and there's a guard to the right that will give you your code, if you have your DS set up for the internet. If you don't have it set up to go online, he'll automatically save your game and put you where you need to be to put in the information. Then he can give you you code.

Man, I play the DS version every day. ^^ I love AC, I can't wait for a Wii version.

I maxed out my house just this Feburary, and I just got my perfect town (for 2 weeks o_O) to get the last gold item, the watering can. But the thing about this version is that if your town has certain items that are frequent and rare, you really need people w/ different town types to get all the items (when you can play for 2 years straight and still not have every item, then its time to admit you need help XD). I loved having ppl over to my town so we could run around and play hide and seek (and whack each other with nets and shovels). Good times.

Every month, I rotate furniture per season and holiday. Right now my front/main room is all regal furniture, right side room is classic, the back is the mushroom series, the left side room is robo (my sister's fav furniture), and the 2nd floor is snowman furniture. It takes 4 ppl to hold onto more than 12 months of furniture...XD;;;

I like having visitors, only I don't go onto WiFi as often anymore. If I do, I usually go on for an hour and its ususlly late at night (9-10 pm, pacific time). Is is ok to add your guys' code so we might meet? I'll help you weed!

I've got the GC version, and I actually made a character named NiGHTS. Gave him a (badly drawn) NiGHTS style shirt and everything. I even have shirts based on the five Ideya. Also badly drawn. I have this insane penguin who lives next door to me, he's nuts! He's moody and will go from "'Sup NiGHTS how ya doin, man?" to "Buzz off, you loser!" in a manner of moments. Yes, and the town I named is called Ideya, because both Bellbridge and Twin Seeds wouldn't fit in that stupid little space.

I have both games. My original GC game was 'minnie' in 'disney', but I erased that at one point and created a new one which I can't remember off the top of my head.

My DS game is 'DeepBlue' in 'Tokyo', and I've created a 'Reala' as well.

Haha, I used to put up swastika signs next to the villagers' houses that I didn't like... I haven't played in a while.

I have the GC version! On multiple occassions I've sent Tuna cans, Old boots, and Tires to Monique as gifts in the mail because of her constant insults. Hmmm... Maybe thats the reason she left XD

I'm scared to go back to my town. I haven't been on it in like, 5 months now My little sister's charecter (we have the GCN version, btw) had a crush on Murphy, a Green bear with a temper and a pool table And he must like her too because he's been in my town for 3 YEARS!

This game can really get you addicted to it and I don't play it as much because I kept playing it too much.
I fear what a wii version will do to our lifes when it comes out!

I am a shameless time traveller, and paid off the last 800,000 bells of my last mortgage with money gotten from a total of 1,000 years of interest on fifty grand. I was so tired of paying off my house by that time, I gave in.

I have all of the fossils in the DS version, and the town's name is Gondolin, after the Hidden City from Tolkien's The Silmarillion. I have the golden slingshot and the golden shovel, but that is it. I never will ever have the bargaining patience for the quest for the golden axe, and I am working toward getting the golden net and rod (I have half of the bugs and 90% of the fish.)

I love the game, but really play it more off and on than constantly.
