[Zero-Shift]

I made a topic like this before the old forums went under, so now I'm reviving it. Let's hear what your top ten favorite game franchises are. By franchise I mean at least two games in the series. Now have at it and go nuts. I'm curious to hear what people say.

They change a lot (excluding #1; That's always on top.), but here's my top 10 atm. Btw, #1 would be the greatest, and #10 would be the least.:

1. NiGHTS
2. Metal Gear Solid
3. Crash Bandicoot
4. Spyro
5. Sonic
6. Mario
7. Twisted Metal
8. Destroy All Humans
9. Star Wars: Battlefront
10. Battlefield Series

Here's my list of the top 10 franchises:

1. Sonic The Hedgehog
2. The Legend of Zelda
3. Super Mario (includes all Mario titles)
4. NiGHTS Into Dreams...
5. Kingdom Hearts
6. Megaman
7. Final Fantasy
8. Metroid
9. Pokemon
10. Super Smash Bros.

EDIT: I moved Megaman up to #6. How could I forget about Megaman?!

Hm.. my top ten.. oog.. here I'm including games that have sequels, in which I played/enjoyed more than one game.. NiGHTS just became a franchise in April, in this regard. Haven't played number 2 yet, so he's not on the list.
This may be edited as I see fit:

3. Ratchet and Clank
4. Castlevania
5. Katamari Damacy
6. Doom
7. Soul Calibur
8. Tie: Kirby/Rayman
9. Mortal Kombat
10. Tie: Jak and Daxter/Sly Cooper

Mario and Zelda would certainly be on this list, but I was partially deprived in my childhood in regard to gaming and thus influenced later things.

Not particularly in this order. And my reasoning for not including NiGHTS is similar to Vipers, although there was Christmas NiGHTS, it was only a demo and was not powerful enough to make it a franchise, even though the first is good enough to begin with lol.
