I had a thought regarding Helen's poster that i edited into my previous post. Tell me what you think.

You're completely right about the name. Upon second look, that's definately a "C", and "The Crystal Palace" sounds alot nicer and fitting than "The Green Palace"

Incidently, upon wondering what it's doing in her room at all, I though it could possibly be somewhere where Helen performs/has performed/is due to perform her Violin ?

And this Castle of Mirrors thing sounds like a pretty good link to me, nice catch.

Just for further speculation, upon looking at this shot again, the poster appears to have vanished... and replaced by a MIRROR O_O.

EDIT : Upon further observation.. I'm inclined to believe that the above shot is simply Concept art and nothing more. Thus the various design differences.

Beautiful pics! And very sound theories, I'm liking this Crystal Palace ideya.. and the flowery poster could be her forest-y level..? Also note the flying comet above Billy's bed. Maybe we will get a space level! 8D

And yes, little Billy's expression is kind of disturbing, but... I can't help being fond of him all the same. YAY FOR THE SHORT HOBBIT FOLK! *pumps fist*

Cover art is nice, but it doesn't go with the logo at all. The logo is terrible, but it would look OK with an incredibly sharp render or something, not that blury mess.

And kid platforming with blue chips as weapons? Aww man, I can't wait for bottemless pits in a NiGHTS game.

Also, the clock was easy to beat in the first game, I don't get why everyone struggled with it.

Maybe it's just me and I don't mean to nitpick, but it seems like famitsu downsized the screenshots a bit more than they should've been for a reason. I'm not one for pointing out graphical issues either but if someone showed me these and I had no idea what NiGHTS even was, I'd assume these were screenshots for an early Gamecube game. I just hope this is because of Sega's budget, and not just their laziness or lack of attention towards detail.

But on the other hand: Platform levels? Blueballs? I'm there.

Helen still has a two headed radioactive cat at the end of her bed.

As for the clock, it wasn't hard, JUST REALLY IRRITATING, in a kind of, wandering around for too long and it appears over your head and mauls you psycho annoying. Though, it has to be said, perhaps the reason people often liked exploring on foot was BECAUSE the clock made it feel special in a sort of 'rush ones ass off' kinda way.

Will's cushions looks like the starfish in the beach lvl. I think its pretty obvious by now that everything in their rooms pertains to their dreams influencing them, much like real life, though i'm glad i don't dream about broken PC's and overflowing laundry.

OH! Random idea here! You know how there's a bunch of like....space stuff in Willy's room and two mirrors in Helen's room? What if there's a Space Level where you fly around Saturn's rings or something, and a House of Mirrors Level where you get uber confused about which you is the real you??? Just a thought by looking at the kid's rooms.

I heard the Wiik-in Review podcast at IGN, and Matt especially seemed really pessimistic about the game. I can quote a couple of words he used: "framy, mechanical, copied the Saturn graphics" He also remarked that the NiGHTS fans have already spoken on the game, and they think that it is the greatest.

So, yeah, it looks like the game may turn out a bit unpolished, but we can always hope, you know.

Just as I'm getting used to the idea of both of them being blonde, I see the pic with the kids in the BG and they're ALL blonde! WTF?? X3
