My name is Misharu, but most people call me Mish. I'll sometimes tell people my real first name if I'm comfortable.
I'm 17 from Arizona and I absolutely love Sega's works, especially NiGHTS Into Dreams and of course the Sonic series (they both go hand in hand fairly well). I have not been graced with the opportunity to play Into Dreams or Journey of Dreams (the latter I refuse to play). I'd like to say I'm well mannered. I'm also just an otaku in general: I love anime, manga, Japanese culture, the Japanese Language, Japanese Food, the whole works. I look forward to meeting everyone here and maybe learn more about NiGHTS and the masterpiece of a game that it was. But be warned, I'm an admitted introvert so I have a heard time talking to people occasionally, even on the internet.
I am also a member of The Sonic Factory, and I go by the same name there, just in case there's any people from there.

Ahh I'm sure you'll get to posting little by little, even if you're an introvert. There's plenty to talk about here! That's actually quite interesting that, despite the fact that you didn't have the opportunity to play the original, that you refuse to play the one that is available. While I'll admit that from my limited playing of the sequel it definitely doesn't fully measure up to the original, I must say that I'm interested as to why you wouldn't play it. Is it for any reason besides not wanting to possibly taint the experience of playing the original first? And do you ever plan on getting a Saturn to play the original?

Hey there! It's a shame you've never played EITHER NiGHTS game! And like Level 99 said, it's not that JoD is horrid, it just doesn't live up to NiD. It's definitely one of the better Wii games I own.

You shouldn't worry about JoD being completely awful. It's a little rough around the edges, but still very enjoyable, very memorable, and it has some magic of its own. I mean, it got me hooked on NiGHTS, so it can't be that bad. It's still my favorite Wii game, and I play few other games on that system.
