I think this is the right forum for this.
I'm looking for a small-scale, printable NiGHTS hat pattern. I'm talking doll-sized. I don't wanna reveal to everyone what I'm working on so I'll give more details to whoever is willing to help. ^.^' I'm willing to pay money, in drawings, or in thank yous, or whatever we can work out! I can sew, I just can't make patterns to save my life. Please help me finish a project! If you think you can help PM me with your pricing. =3 Any examples of clothes made from your patterns or anything would be appreciated.

The best I can find is some pages like this: amtgard.com:8080/how2jhat1.pdf . Perhaps it might be easier to take a normal jester hat pattern and modify it accordingly?

That link doesn't seem to be working? There's a colon in there, should it be there? I did a websearch but everything I found was either knitting or you pay first, and I don't want to pay for something without even knowing what it is.

Are you planning to build a base or should it be just a sewn one? I may be able to help you out, not with a pattern but a few suggestions? Maybe PM me if the details should be secret?

Dunno if this link will help or not. >.<; There's no pictures to go by, and it's a pattern for a human size jester hat. Perhaps you could scale it down some? I make plushies and have made some clothing in the past. You can find the like to my deviantart page under my profile if you want to see my plushies. Maybe I could help with the patterns if I had a better idea of what you need. Just pm me if your interested. I have an idea of what your doing, but I could be completley off my mark. I won't say what I think it is incase I'm right. (Which I doubt) lol X3 Good luck to you!

I've never tried a hat, but when I go for NiGHTS' horns, I just kind of wing it XD
My guess though would be to start with this shape:
then cut it in half horizontally, so you get a flat bottomed wedge.
Trace the pattern five times onto the material you're using (chalk or pencil work best)
then cut it out and sew it like so:
(since we're leaving the bottom off, you'll want to double back toward the point with the thread, leave the bottom open!)
That'll give you a basic cap. Then you can cute out the basic "horn" shape like so:
Just cut out four, two pieces will make an individual horn, start at the base and stitch up to the point, then knot it to keep it from slipping, and finish stitching back down to the base. Leave the bottom open so you can insert any stuffing.
Then attach that to the cap.
it looks best if you flip it right-side out so that the stitching is on the inside. It's easiest to do that before you finish stitching the second side.
You can add any decorations on after finishing the basic shapes.
That's how I'd go about it anyway, it might not work as well for others.

MYSTiCCOOKiE: I'm not sure what you mean by a base. I'm not an expert seamstress. ^.^'
~Tsuki~: I can't really understand that description. I suck. XD I think that one's supposed to be one of the multi-hornthings, but I can't really tell. I'll send you a PM with what I'm doing, okay? =3
CORNSiLK: That looks pretty helpful. Except... I can't really understand the second picture. ^.^' Is it sewing the two peices together? Or the five pieces?

That sounds good. ^__^ I'll be glad to help in any way I can.~ And no worries about understanding pattern directions. They can be a real pain sometimes. lol I've gotten some before that were so complicated they may as well have been in a foreign language. ><

Sorry, I should have been more clear about that.
You start by taking two "petals" and sewing one side together. Then add a third and fold it against one of the original two, then sew their sides together.
And so on until you've attached all five. You'll want to turn them right side out before you sew the cap closed, that way there will be only one seam in the back, that won't be as visible.
