What can you say about the 90s? Nickelodeon was in it's prime, Girl Power flowed from Cool Britannia, Nirvana made flannel shirts cool, and MC Hammer was too legit to quit. Why not spend a day whearing our nostalgia goggles and revive the colourful period of time. We can pick a day and do 90s-y things. Here are some lists offf the top of my head, so feel free to add things.

*Required Listening*
  • Spice Girls
  • Alanis Morissette
  • Vanilla Ice (If you dare!)
  • Britney Spears (Muahahaha!)

*Required Viewing*
  • You Can't Do That on Television
  • Rugrats
  • Doug
  • Double Dare
  • Dexter's Lab
  • Power Puff Girls
  • Sailor Moon
  • Pokemon
  • Clarissa Explains it All
If anyone can find episodes, I'll put the together with 90s commercials for the full experience. :)

*Games*
  • NiGHTS into Dreams!
  • Saturn
  • N64
  • SNES
  • Playstation

My thought: Dude, my Wii is going to get a workout (okay sure it's a 2000 thing but the games on the VC aren't).

Eiffel 65! "Yo listen up here's a story, about a little guy that lives in a blue world. And all day and all night and everything he sees is just blue, like him, inside and outside." Everybody! ^_^ "Blue his house and with a blue little window and a blue corvette and everything is blue for him, and hisself, and everybody around 'cause he ain't got nobody to listen..."

Also:

*Oh Yeah! Cartoons
*KaBlam!
*Ed, Edd, n' Eddy (it came out in 1999 so...)
*Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (or Wii-make if the original is a no go; use a wired controller!)

Never did get why people went gaga over the Backstreet Boys. >_>

For Myself:
*NiD Music
*Outline for Zombies Ate My Neighbors: The Novelization (I'm crazy, I know, but then again I may just drop it.)
*Take a crack at ZAMN (CHAINSAWS!!)
*Make lyrics for some NiD music (NiGHTS and Reala ~ Theme of a Tragic Revenge~ is crazy)

On which day... *shrug* I dunno.

"Life is like a hurricane
Here in Duckberg
Lasers, race cars, airplanes
It's a duck-blur"

Never liked the cartoon, but dang that theme was catchy.

Smashmouth! "Somebody once told me the world was gonna love me, I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed..." I remember I knew this song by heart when I was 4!!!
Green Day (They're old stuff. Nothing past Nimrod!)
Backstreet Boys and Nsync. I didn't really like Nsync, but I had a crush on Nick Carter from BB. *facepalm*

Also, I will spend my day watching my AoStH and SatAM DVD box sets.
And playing Sonic. And Pokemon. *sigh* So many hours playing those. I still have all the Pokemons up til Crystal.

Remember What A Cartoon and Oh Yeah cartoons? And when Disney Channel was actually good? Also, Harry Potter. :)

I know there's more, but the other stuff was already mentioned...

Man, this topic's making me feel a little old. I miss being little. :P

WOW. I thought it was "Somebody once told me the world was out to leave me, I ate the sharpest tool in the shed." I am so deaf. :P

Let me add this piece of epic because I just installed it on my desktop computer, but have it on the laptop, found it out of random chance at a flea market ages back ... KID PIX.

omg, I used to go nutso over having freetime in one of my 4th/5th grade school-related programs to use it... that was what, '94? '95? something like that.

OH MAN! I remember going to a friend's house and playing around with that. It's probably the first non-game computer program I used.
I want to say that was around '93?

Shows:
I agree with Pokemon ^-^
New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh
Digimon
Duck Tales
And some that I'm less familiar with, because my parents banned them no matter how much I begged:
Transformers: Beast Wars
Sailor Moon
Spider-Man

I mostly watched tapes and Animal Planet when I was little, so...yeah.

Games:
Well, I didn't have video games in the 90s (everyone: *gasps!*) Yeah, I know. But I've since gathered a bunch of games from then.
NiGHTS into Dreams
Panzer Dragoon
Mega Man X-X4
Ocarina of Time
Pokemon: Blue (I'm going to be so sad if I find the battery died)

Music:
I've always listened to mainly what my parents listen to. So I'll guess I'll hum to Enya, Celine Dion, Amy Grant, John Denver, and anyone else I can remember.
