Ok so you guys know I've been living with DiGi for a long time now and we're always under eachothers feet, go the same places and talk about what's on our minds. Very very very close friends as well as partners.

Well the past few nights we've been having dreams with VERY similar elements in, down to quite obscure things too. Take lastnight for example, (short version) i dreampt i was in a large park on the outskirts of a city i think was London crossed over with Edinburgh (it had a lot more skyscrapers on the horizon) there were rivers and ponds all over the park and it was late at night. I was trying to find my way back home to the big place i live in in my dreams (It looks like a mansion/hotel and has a big scary staircase inside)(which comes from my time playing in the orchestra as a kid in this building (when it wasn't run down): http://www.livingsto...howdenhouse.htm )
And this is where the park in my dreams comes from as i used to live nearby: http://www.livingsto.../howdenpark.htm but now it's crossed with London's Hyde Park, so it has grown in size.

The dream started off sunny and i was playing football with a bunch of kids at a crossroads in the park. The aim of the game was to throw a stick as high as you could then kick the ball and try to hit it. I had some sort of strange talking pet dog too that has been in my dreamscape for the past 2 weeks.

It was a lucid dream (i always dream lucid and my dreams always continue from the night before as i remember what i dream while falling asleep, which is how i find my way around). DiGi very rarely dreams lucid but he does remember his dreams quite a bit and tells me them each morning.

Anyway DiGi dreampt lastnight that i was playing football in a park (making him late for college) and kicked my ball really high over a big country/mansion house. He then took the ball off me.

The night before I dreampt that we were at the cinema and him and AAUK had a big verbal fight. DiGi dreampt we were at the cinema and he megaslapped me *lmao*

Our dreams are never identicle but we seem to be having reacurring themes in them which are totaly random as we don't spend a lot of time in these places or doing those things in our waking life.

I'm always suspicious of people telling their dreams to me as ANYONE can claim they dreampt the same thing you did after you tell them. Not that i don't trust DiGi, but as an experiment i want to try something. Every morning when we wake up now i want us both to write on a seperate piece of paper *BUZZWORDS* of what we dreampt at the same time, then swap bits of paper over at the same time.

We'll post our results here and see if we have any more similar dreams :P

That sounds interesting, if only I could get my bf to do this with me, I would have bundles of fun with this experiment!

I have a co-worker that I mentioned lucid dreaming to, she now owns one of my books on it and is better at it than me ;_; but shes more dedicated, bleh! (squealing about it on FB dosen't help either GAH) But, she has had a joint dream with her son (he lives on the 3rd floor of her house, and I'm not sure if distance matters but it looks like it helps!) and she was on top of the WTC with him (they have been there years back before) and then something happened and they had to get off of it, her son ends up picking her up and carrying her.

She told her son about the dream and he claimed to have had a dream of their vacation of going to the WTC but nothing bad happened, had a good time :P

But yes very similar themes, could be coincidence since they did go there but its still interesting. I want a partner to try this with, will keep me more motivated and a dream buddy :)

That actually happened to me once, where my friend and I had the same dream. It wasn't a super cool awesome dream, we both dreamt that she was trying to convince me to sleep over, and I kept refusing and saying it was a school night. It was the only dream we both had, but it was interesting.

Good luck with your test! Hopefully you have some more dreams to post. :P

This has happened to me twice so far with two of my friends.

The first occured nearly a year ago. I dreampt my friend's Dad had shown up at my house an told me to get to their house across town right away because he had planned a surprise party for her and I needed to be there. My Mom said she'd take me there but, when the two of us got out the door, my friend's Dad ran into our house and locked us out. He then proceeded to sell our home. I can't recall what happened next, but when I woke up and told my friend of this the next day she told me she had had a dream that same night in which someone had thrown her a surprise party.

The second occurrence of this was Wenesday night and Thursday morning. I had what seemed like an extremely long dream or series of dreams on Wednesday night. At one point I saw a little girl who had hurt herself somehow and was crying. Somehow she seemed familiar, I felt like I knew her. I approached her and held her, comforting her while help arrived. I didn't think too much about the significance of this dream until I got into a discussion about dreams with one of my friends in my philosophy class. She told me about the dream she had the night before. In the dream she was a little girl. She saw an adult who was oddly familiar and soon realized in the dream that this was an adult version of me. She ran up to the adult me and gave me a long hug. She didn't know why.

These are both very close friends of mine, to the point where we may often finish eachother's sentences. Although these dreams aren't quite the same, they share strikingly similar elements, it fascinates me to think that in the dream state, it is possible for minds to meet and connect.
