Hey there folks, I'm Vulpa!
I'll be making this awkward by stating that I've played no NiGHTS as of yet. Currently in the brooding persuasion of JoD, though..
Anyways..hmm..NiGHTS interests me. The concept of dreams, nightmares, and all between always have. Game form would be even better!
One of my friends got me into it (oh, but still, no games) and I can partially say that TRiPPY (and DiGi, too, I guess) with their Wrecks Factor entry, Dreams Dreams. Strange, right? It went from loving their remix to loving NiGHTS in an odd way. But yeah..
Hope to get to know you guys (and NiGHTS as well!) as time goes along~

Once again NiGHTS magic does it's job of pulling in like minded dreamers.
Welcome to the forums! Don't worry about playing the games. While they're incredibly fun, not everyone here has, but that doesn't matter if you've got the right 'spirit'. It sounds like you do. ^^

Thanks you three! I'm sure I could do a little more discussin' here when I actually play one of the games, at least, though. Still, it's all fun, right?

Welcome to the forums!
The original NIGHTS into Dreams might be hard to find, but JoD has gotten fairly cheap and readily available lately. Do you have a Wii?

much better, but hey, it's elgin. ya might like how it looks, but the people are severely closed minded about this kind of stuff. in fact, everything. i get daggers stared at me whenever i wear a red t-shirt! and almost all my t-shirts are red! you can see i dont fit in

Horay, another NiGHTS fan! Welcome to the NiGHTS fanbase, Vulpa! When you get JoD, do not use the Wiimote-only controls, don't try dashing while you're inside the ball-rolling ramp things in Delight City, and be prepared for Nightopians to take over your life O_O (Of course, if you know all that already, then just ignore me and my ignorance). Looking forward to some dream discussions with you.

Penelopi's right about the Pians. Don't paraloop too many, or they'll start breeding. Once that happens, they just keep on multiplying until there are more Pians in your My Dream than anyone can imagine.
If you're familiar with Star Trek, Pians are like Tribbles.

Yes, just like tribbles XD
When I bother playing my first file and feed my Pians, it usually takes about 10 whole minutes. And the thing is, you have to feed them after every mission you play or else all 80 of them will be near-death when you finally pay a visit. I ended up spending more time feeding the natives than actually playing the game. So I finally just settled for doing my record-beating on another, Nightopian-less, file. Now I enjoy JoD a whole lot more. I guess I could've let them die, but I feel so guilty letting anything die, even bits of data...
