The game's already out At least in germany. And that since one day before christmas or something like that o.o Don't know why anyways, the official date was January 8th, wasnt it? Not that I will complain, though xD The game is the first mature action game I actually like. There's something about the mixture of upbeatnes and darkness which I totally love xP

Nice paced action game, with an interesting tale...looks good.

EDIT: Just beat the game. Here's a tip: DON'T PUT THAT CONTROLLER DOWN UNTIL YOU HEAR "Fly Me to the Moon" DURING THE CREDITS!!!

Anyway, I'm loving this game. Taking my dainty time to go over levels with a fine tooth comb to find all the chests, Alfheims, etc. How much I love it compared to the original Devil May Cry is still undecided at the moment. So far I don't like Bayonetta as much as Dante, but she's up there. One thing I can say, holy crap so many references!

Seriously, this is getting ri-goddamn-diculous! I'm only on the sixth chapter and I could probably name 15 wink-nudge moments right off the top of my head. It's getting borderline intrusive. XD

Pretty fun ride. =D

Now all i have to do is beat the game on other difficulties and play 100 chapters apparently and I'll have 1000/1000.

Then after that I guess I'll farm halos to buy stuff. Love this game.

at first i didnt really have an opinion of jeanne, then by the end i quite liked her, just as stylish as bayonetta XD

Actually it can be kinda spoilery, cuz it takes place with almost every chracter watching and every area of the game being used as a stage. So be warned, absurdly spoiler hating peoples. It's still awesome.

Idk if I like Dante or bayonetta more, but one thing is sure: Bayonetta could kick Dante's ass. XD

So finally did ALMOST everything possible in the game...

Can't beat the secret boss and I haven't touched the hidden challenge yet. Other than that I've completed the game fully.

I love it. It deserves all the praise it's getting and i have to agree that Dante would get his ass handed to him, literaly, in probably more ways than one, especially if Bayonetta's handing out the ass kicking XD

The game never takes itself seriously, which is what gives it it's charm. If it was serious it would just seem like a Devil May Cry all over again with a female lead. The sex-appeal, the ridiculous innuendo, the references, this game knows exactly what it is. It is SO over the top XD

I won't ruin it by spoilers but the part where Joy turns up and you get the little dance scene ...now THAT even made me blush XD;; I dunno how this got a 15 certificate, lol

Even the boss battles are all epic, it's outstanding and beyond fun!

The way Bayo transforms kinda makes me wish NiGHTS had been crafted with the same kind of care in JoD.

I can't actually remember what part i'm up to but i got a feeling i still got a way to go. Let you all know when i'm done

Completed it last night, in Easy mode lol. It's true, this game just DOES NOT want to end. Just when you think you can sit back and finally have a break it throws something else at you XD I've never been so aware during ending credits before, just in case it threw something else at me.

Can i just say, i LOVE the dialogue in this. The voice acting is wicked and the lines they come out with are fantastic. And another thing, this game plays on the fact that Bayo does all this crazy unreal sh!t via the Luka guy. Example, the part where Bayo gets to the Helidcopter before him and he's all like "wtf?" XD Seriously, this game takes notice of itself and plays along. It's all a fantastic joke and it's a master piece.

Rodin's Resident Evil 4 reference was classic! XD

Ah, there's just too much to go in to right now. There's so much i love about it, it's easily the best action game i've ever played. It's got sex appeal, it's got amazing mechanics, it's got style and flair, it's got innuendo and crazy jokes.
It's perfect for me.

I've read in Game Informer about it and it looks like a fun and awesome game. I'm not aloud to play it but when I'm older it's proboly going on my top "To Get" list.

Yeah, I played through it on easy just to get to the story, so don't feel bad DiGi. XD I also agree with you about the content. Right off the gate, BAM, awesomeness. Then a few minutes later, BAM, even more awesome. Then some more, and some more.... I just kept wondering how they would top their last bout of awesome, and being awed at how they kept it up. I finally gave up wondering around chapter 14, because my brain could not IMAGINE how it would even try to be so insane and awesome and badass.

Luca also made me lol solely on the fact he's voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. He and Bosch seem to get all the work these days. XD Plus, the game was so 'mean' to him. But that's another story.

I'll admit, the story confused me. But you know if you look at the story itself, it's a parody too -

She can't remember anything due to memory loss (cliche)
She was born from people on opposing sides thus making her a 'special' cross-breed (cliche)
It's got time-travelling elements in there (cliche)
Beef with the father (cliche)

The story itself was probably written in a room where some guys are saying "I've got an idea. Let's see how many cheesy overused cliches we can throw in to her story" XD

I'm honestly wondering though, if they made a Bayo 2 how on earth are they going to top this? This game is already at the top of it's league, it'll be hard to out-do themselves with another Bayo. Truth is tho, i really want a second game T_T

Honestly, it's not so much the story sucks as much as it is the copious amounts of cutscenes you need to sit through. If I need to watch a game that much there had better be some quality development. Also, stop showing me the fights! A few "money shot" epic moments are cool but dammit I want to play the fights not watch them! It's a nitpick really, but still, it got on my nerves at times. Still love the game. Main reason I don't rank it higher (personally) than the original Devil May Cry is because of a large pair of rose tinted nostalgia glasses. XD

Something that always amused me is besides the generic Chapters, the fights are called verses. Which makes me think there's some Book of Bayonetta out there someplace.
