So finally after almost 3 years in doubt, Nintendo officially admitted that they're working on a G/S remake for Nintendo DS. What kind of memories do you connect with this game? For me it's very positive ones, I remember playing it all the time with a former friend, when we were in 6th grade, and it was such a joy to find all the new cute critters... Good old times>.<

I never got a chance to play Gold or Silver back in the day, and with the internal batteries on the old versions dying, I'm afraid to play them now. I was afraid they were letting a whole chapter in the series just die out...

...This makes me so happy. I'm buying Heart Gold! (though the names sound cheesy to me )

I dont know yet which edition to buy... Usually I get the one that gets less love, which will probably be gold since Lugia is totally popular. The mini trailer they showed at Pokemon Sunday is awesome. It's so pretty how the wind blows in Newbark Town, and it's adorable that your starter pokemon seems to follow you around:3

Y'know, the last Pokemon I got was Silver, and this just might entice me to get into the newer generation. God knows I need to put my DS to use for something.

Ah, me and my friend can't wait for this. I remember when we were younger and I had Silver and she had gold. I know I'm definitely going to get SoulSilver, here's hoping she gets HeartGold

Despite the akward sounding names, I'll get them! It's the only generation of Pokemon that I haven't seen in used game stores, even though it's one of my favourites. A newer, fancier version of a game I intend to buy anyway is always good. The question remains- Heart Gold or Soul Silver? Or Both?

The names DO sound awkward, but that's okay. XD There's only so many colors to use...

I probably will buy it. The Jhoto phase kind of was lost on me, I had stopped watching the show then (and since I was kind of little I had hardly any money to buy the game). I'm excited now, so I can improve my knowledge of the one region I hardly know anything about and get another awesome game!

I am really looking forward to these games, I stopped playing Pokemon after Yellow, but I'm almost finished with Fire Red atm. So I still have not played II-IV generation Pokemon games, I was going to start a file in Crystal like, a week before I found out about this and I was like, Holy sh!t, I'll just wait for that then XD

I do have Pearl version, I might play that while waiting for HG/SS.

Ahhh memories! I remember getting Silver and playing with Chikorita... and being so fascinated at the 'amazing' graphics that were so much better than Yellow's and Red's. I'll be getting it solely for two reasons. One. Your pokemon will follow you around, and that's ALL of them. All 493. And... the Notched-Ear Pichu event. -giggle spazz- I'm a pokefan... hehehe.

Gold & Silver were my first PokeMon games. Loved them to death (Gold was my main version though).

Ahh! Those tracks are nice, Hoho's music reminds me of Turok XD. I have been following up on some HG/SS today I don't really like Kotone even if Kris looked very similar, I liked her design better. (Has a thing with Pink...) I might play Gold.

When I first heard they were FINALLY remaking these, I nearly went ballistic cuz I don't have a DS. I MUST GET ONE FOR MAH POKEYMANZ. The G/S/C games were my absolute favorites, and with the remakes I don't have to worry about the internal battery dying. Yay!

I'm slightly angered at the difference of awesome between the Lugia/Ho-Oh songs. Lugia is epic too, damnit!

Thats what me and my boyfriend do, we each buy a game counter parting each other. Only I am still playing Pearl as we speak. Hes already got 3 ultimate parties that whoop ass online, none of which include legendary or starters.
